11/01/08: As you all might now, i'm an extremely busy kid. i;m a big brother!!!i've got so many resposibilities towards my little sister, Nehchal. I Play with her all day long. if my mom leaves her even for a minute, I immediately go to her side. Even if she makes one crying sound, i ask my mom to pick her up. And i am very possessive about her. if anyone outside the family picks her up, i get upset and want her back immediately. I have many names for Nehchal: my princess, my ducky, my pigletto, my beta (just like my mom calls her).
I still go to school and enjot it thoroughly. i'm in Pre-k and my teaher say that i;m very smart kid. I love learning and playing with my friends.
06/04/08: Hello again. With guru sahib's apaar kirpa, I was blessed with a beautiful baby sister on May 20, 2008. Her name is Nehchal Kaur. That day was the happiest day of my life!! I had been waiting for a long time for her arrival. everyday, i would ask my mom about her arrival and she would tell me that i'll have to wait till May to meet my sister. While going to the hospital to meet her, i was totally jumping up and down with excitement. We finally brought her home on May 22nd. Literally, every 5 minutes i go near her and just say her name. thats how excited i am. I never used to talk to anyone when we went out, but since Nehchal's arrival i talk to everyone and tell them about my baby sister Nehchal. Even my doctor was surprised to hear me talk to her. I readily accepted her as a part of our family. I know that my mom, dad, gradma and grandpa are all shared with Nehchal too now. So, this was the latest news about me. I still go to school in Pre-Kindergarten. I enjoy going to school. Allright then, i'll come back sometime soon and give updates about myself and my cute little Nehchal.
02/19/2007: hello everyone!! i've been away for a while!! a lot of stuff happened in my family..my great grandmother passed away on january 11th, 2007..actually we heard the news on the 9th of january that she was in a serious condition and so we all planned to go visit her...we got the tickets for the 13th of jan but shayid sache patsha nu kuch hor hi manzoor si...so we couldnt meet her for the last time...shukar hai sache patsha da ke ohna ne ik baar mainu ohna naal mila ditta si..my mom tells me that my great grandmother was a very good gursikh and she had the greatest influence on my mom too...She missed me a lot too..i know i'll always learn from her life and try to be a gursikh myself...
I met all my family in india, it was a good feeling...Got a lot of love from everyone...the only person i didnt get to see was my kawal chahcu....got to go to guru har rai ji's gurdwara at bhungarni and of course right in guru Ramdas ji's charans at darbar sahib...We were only in india for about 2 and a half weeks then me and my mom came back..I miss everyone especially my bhai sahib Meharbaan Singh. One of my nani ji is sick in Boston and i hope i can see her soon too..
Also my sister came into this world on February 5th..My massi had a baby girl named bhavroop kaur...I havent gotten so see her yet but hopefully i will soon...
I'm h aving a great time at school...everymorning i'm just so eager to go to school...I ask my parents to drop me off at school asap...even on saturday and sunday i ask my parents to drop me off at school...my parents tell me that i'm a lot like my bhai sahib who's never taken a day off from school so far...hehe..allright gotta go...will do more talking next time...
10/19/2006: hehe..its taking me longer and longer to come back and write about me...yeah, what can i say, just really busy :-) Anyways, the newest thing is that i've started the early preschool...i'm still just getting settled there...i cry a bit when leaving my house and getting off of the car, but as soon as my teacher holds me, i'm ok...i guess i realize at that point that i dont have any option..its fun though, i get to play with so many other kids..my teacher is so impressed with my puzzle solving abilities...and my friend keerat goes to the same school too..i only go to the school two mornings...and oh, it was my birthday on september 23rd..i'm 2 now...big boy, as u can see from my pics...and i can talk a lot more now, full sentences too...my mom likes it when i say cocosh(costco), and wife(wipes)....i'll think of more words of my vocab to add and then come back..till then..bye
07/05/2006: hello again...back with more stories about me....I am 21 months old and gosh the naughtiest person in my house(hehe)...I say that for a reason...there's a safety gate that my parents put at the bottom of the stairs and they think this will prevent me from going upstairs...haha wishful thinking...I have a small chair that I climb on then jump the gate(where there is will, there's a way!!) and go on my way to the 2nd floor..I use the same small chair to get hold of the stuff on the kitchen counters...and then i jump from the couches...I love to get hold of car keys.... I repeat the mool mantar after my mom and i can say dhan guru {all guru ji's names} ji...I know counting till 5...i know alphabet thru E and i also know that punjabi alphabet thru haha...I can locate the following body parts on my body: head, eyes, nosy, tongue, lips, cheeks, teeth, ears, tummy, fingere, paer(foot), leg...I can say the words like: waheguru ji fateh(greeting), thanna(thanda->cold), muniya(mundiya), urshi(kursi->chair), hai tirty(hai dirty), baabi(chadi->keys), rutti(roti->indian bread), daa(dal->lentil), bed(bread), nahi(no), haanji(yes), mumma aaye( my mom has come), papa aaye( my dad has come), putti(potty), peez(please), shoe, baba ji( guru sahib), kirt(keerat, my friend), neeni(sleep), paani(water), bahar(outside), park, pakka(fan), batti(light), bu-bye, horsh(horse), cow, goggy(doggy), foggy(froggy), pishy(fishy), kucky(ducky), mokey(monkey), billu(my stuffed animals), mata(matar->peas), khiya(kheera->cucumber), butle(bottle), dudhu(milk), geen(green), bue(blue)..etc...quite a vocab...not only this i can almost always follow the instructions.. if my mom tells me to throw something in the garbage, i go do that...If I'm told to put the dirty dishes in the sink, i go do that...if I'm told to put my leggos(or any toy for that matter) away, i can understand that and go do it...if i'm told to put the mats on the dining table, i can also do that...
04/30/2006: Ok, so...Yeah, I went to india on 02/18/2006 and came back on 03/18/2006. This one month was one of the greatest months of my life. I could finally go to darbar sahib, asr and Guru Har Rai Ji's Gurudwara in bhungarni. I met my whole family and what a great pleasure it was to be there with them. At first, i was a little overwhelmed by everybody's presence, but quickly got over it. My dada papa and dada chacha brought goodies for me everyday. My dadi ji, Nani ji and wade mom(tayi ji) were busy feeding me and shopping for me, the whole time. My great grandmother had all the blessings in the world for me. I spent one week with my chachu too and then he went off to Ukraine. Well, the funnest part of all was my brother Meharbaan Singh. He's my dearest, sweetest, coolest brother. I miss him so much and wish i could be with him all the time. Anyways, gotta go play now, will write all about india later.
01/30/2006..HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF U READING THIS...i know i'm a little late but its ok...I just get so busy playing and stuff...anyways, not a whole lot to say right now other than the fact that i'm getting smarter and smarter each day...i hide my toys and my bottles and mommy keeps searching hehehe...i love it...oh i went to the zoo and fairytale town and had a blast there...thanks mommy n' papa...it was really my first time out in sacramento and loved every second of it...zoo i didnt really understand a whole lot in there except that i learned how to say tigu(tiger) and saw flamingo and monkey dancin around..but fairytale town was a different story..it had fun written all over....i'll try to take my parents more often there...and oh my god, did i say that i'm going to india next month....so looking foward to it and update my story when i come back..i'm sure i'll have lot more to share then..till then...bu-bye...

I have just been really busy growing up..I am 14 months now..i know, i have to do a lot of catching up...Man, i run around in the house all the time..everybody is constantly running after me...hehe..I also love climbing on the tred-mill and playing there...its fun...i also think its fun to play in the tightest corners of the house..but playing with water is the ultimate fun...and did i mention that one of favourite times of the day is playtime in the park..i meet other babies there and play with them...its very tough to get me out of the swing...hehehe..my bike is also good to ride on..i jusht love my horshie cuz it can sing while i ride...and oh i am a talking baby now...i say words like nana, mumma, papa, mum(water), baby, kaka, baba, wahegu, gogot(yogurt), boo(bottle), no, ha ni ( hai nahin), baa(bahar),papple(apple)..quite a vocab haaaa...
allright time to get back to playing..be back soon..pomise
2/10/2005 - Hello buddies!!!!!! How is it going? Lets give you few updates about me. As you can see from my newly posted pictures, I have grown bigger now. Oh yes you are guessing it rightâ¦I am a healthy Kick Ass babyâ¦just like my satu massi!!!! I am only 4 and half months oldâ¦but my cloth size is already equal to 8 months baby size. !! Oh Yes forgot to tell you guys, my Nani ma is here now. My mom started working and now I spend all the time with my nani jee. She play with me, talk with me, laugh with me all day long. I am having lots of fun with her. The most thing I enjoy is taking bathâ¦man I love playing with waterâ¦.its so cool!!!
12/24/2004 - Hey!!! its been long...haven't talked to you all for a while. Actually there were not much updates about me. So did you get to see my new pics?? cool haan!!!! Winters started over here too...but yeah its not much cold here. Don't go out much, coz my mom is scared that i might get sick. I play a lot these days...i enjoy my moms company!!! I also talk a lot, aaa awwwww uguu these are the words i mostly say. Yeah man, i am three months old already...yesterday was my 3 month birthday!! Days running fast haan!!! can't wait till a year..you won't even know a year will pass by like phew!!!!!! Oh yeah you know i am now 14 onces..growing fast buddy!!!
12/3/2004 - Alright, alright alright, I know its been long now since i have written something about me. Well there is nothing special going on this time. I am still not sleeping much, which makes my mom very much worried. Oh yes, i do talk alot. Man Crying..you don't wanna know!!!! something just get into me sometimes, and i cry so loudly that even my neighbours get worried about me. Dads been very busy these day...don't get to spend much time with him. But heyyyyyyyy my moms always there for me, i drive her nutts at times. These days my mom take me out for walks in the noon. The freshness, i feel outside makes me sleep in like minutes.
11/19/2004 - Hello everyone!!! How is it going? I am here with more updates on me today. Well there is nothing much new about me expcept that i have reduced my sleep alot. Doctors say i am supposed to sleep atleast 15 hours a day but i sleep only 8-9 hours which they say is way too less. So yeah, my mom got worried and took me to the hospital. And guess what happened? The doctor gave me 5 injections at that one visit. Can you believe this..5 injections..Oh My God. I cried a lot man, but the doctor didn't stop....No Mercy for Kids!!! Would know the pain if he gets five injections at once. But hey my massi took the name of the doctor. And she will give his SUPARI to some DONs..He.he. they will make him realize then. Anyways rest is the same....i am still same weight and same length.
11/8/2004 - Hey i back again...you know this weekend i went to the 400 Aniversary Celebration of Installation of Guru Granth Sahib Ji. It was great there. Millions of people turned up to celebrate this day from all of USA and Canada. There was lots of kirtan and langer going around. Its Once in a life time Event and i feel lucky that i get the chance to celebrate this day. My cousin sister Simer, massi jee and masadh jee were there too. Sister simer was like after me, she kept playing with me all the time. She is such a cute and loving sis, she loves me so much. And i love her alot too.
Hey, i am back with more updates about me. I went for shopping with my parents at my favourite Babys r'us" I got some new toys from the store too. I also went to gurdwara this weekend in the morning. Oh yeah...i have started smiling too this week. Soon i will post some pics with my smile on the site too. Did you get to see my latest pics?? Man i am growing very fast. I am 11.5 pounds now, so getting bigger.
Hey Did you see the pics from yesterday? My dad tied Dastaar on my head for the first time yesterday, while we were going to Gurdwara. Doesn't I look like Guru Ji's mighty mighty Khalsa? As i grow up more and more, i will be wearing all the K's given by our great Guru ji.
I am becoming more and more active as days pass. I play a lot, look around a lot and ofcourse I cry a lot too. Uuuhhh..everyone get scared when I cry. I have developed bad habbit too I keep putting my hand in my mouth. But hey, I am trying to give it up my moms helping me a lot with it. Anyways, that was a quick glance at me and the latest developments here. There will be more about myself updated very soon, so keep looking.
Hey you know i will be one month old tommorrow? The time is going so fast man. Did you get to look at my newest pics? I have grown so much bigger. Before non of cloths fits me, but now...look at me..i am a COOL DUDE!!! I play with mom alot these days. I make her do alot of work, everytime she change my cloths i pee on her. I have also started making some noises too, i talk to her these days. I have lots of teddies and other toys now. I love watching them alot. Oh man...let me tell you about my gussa. I don't like it if someone don't let me sleep. I get so much angry if somebody wake me up that i will cry badly. You won't be able to standby then.
Hanji do you know i am three weeks old today? yeah my mom says i am one inch bigger than before and also i have gained some weight too. Very soon i will be a big boy. I also play. I was a little sick two three days before...but have recovered now. My mom takes me for medical checkup every week. I am now 9lb 4ounce and i am 21.5 inches long.
Wow its been a week now...see how days are going so fast!! I am so small...my mom always wants to talk to me. She always wants to play with me but I am such a lazy butt...its like an Amuli .. I sleep for whole day and then at night when its time for my mom to sleep I keep her awake. My mom says I am very smart...when my massi was here...I was acting so nicely..for that single night I didn't cry..i didn't disturb her at all. Once she is gone...I was back to my crying nights and sleepy days.
I stayed in hospital for 3 days after my birth. They said I needed special care for some more days. So finally I arrived home after staying three days in hospital. It was so nice to be home. The very first night in my house I didn't sleep at all, and didn't even let my mom sleep. OH I AM SORRY MOM!!!! won't do it again. My mom is so sweet..she stayed awake with me for all night.
My parents were living in Boston, when they got the news of me coming into this world. We had so many relatives and friends in that city. My massi's, my grand auntie, grand uncle, all were so happy. Everyone was thinking about me ; playing, crying, laughing, making mess in the house. They got so excited!! Suddenly my dad got job in California, so we had to move to California. It was a good news in a way that my dad got a very good job...but it was sad too...as they had to leave the city they have been living in, for so long and moving to the place where they don't know anyone. My mom and dad tried to get my both grand ma's here on a visitor visa. But for some reason, they couldn't get visa. I wish she gets the visa and i get to see her, play with her. So finally my grand auntie came to our place few days before my birth. She is still here.. she cares a lot for me and my mother.
