- Aliyah's Grandma Jo passed away: Grandma Jo (Mary Jo - Al's Mom) passed away on October 14th at 65 yrs old. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. And we are blessed that she was able to meet her granddaughter before her passing. Mary Jo was loved by so many and we are sad that she is not with us any longer.

My dad's a pretty smart guy when it comes to stuff like this, so he is going to do all the picture uploads and maintenance until I am able to do it myself.
I am almost able to do it myself now.
Two years sure has gone by fast, and I am going to be 'two' on August 8th. Mama and Dada say I am already into my terrible two's. I am not sure what they mean by that, and there shouldn't be anything wrong with just sitting there crying for no reason. I have a reason, I'm two.
These days I am really busy with swimming, ECFE, playing at the park, riding my bike, reading books. Mama and Dada say I know hundreds of words now. We hang out at the boat every weekend, and I like going down there. I call it Aliyah's Big Boat. We have a little boat too, that's Dada's.
I am talking in full sentences, like 8-10 words. Mama and Dada think that's pretty cool. Me, I say wait till next month.

July 16,2008 - Holy cow, does a few days make a difference or what. I leave for Chicago for overnight, I come home, and I find out Aliyah is now climbing stairs. Hope all is well with you guys! Sounds busy. Everyone has recommended this book to us "The Happiest Baby on the Block" that you might try if she starts to get fussy. Don't know if it works yet, but we'll find out soon :). There's a video too, and from watching it, it seems to work like magic.

HAHAHA...I just read your journal entry from 8/13...I remember all of that (we have cats too)!!! Enjoy ALL of it because they grow up so fast! Isn't becoming a parent the most amazing thing?
