March 25, 2009 Please pray for our little man as he is sick again. We ttok him to the pedi office and then had to take him to the hospital for a nasal wash test. They stuffed little brushes up his nose and took samples to see what is causing him to always be sick. We don't know much more but we will hopefully know something soon. Thanks and love ya all.

March 20, 2009 Well it is offically spring. We took the boys to theCleveland Childrens Museum. Nana, Bud, Me Bradyn, Jodie, Joe and Owen all went. I think the boys really enjoyed themselves. It is a great place for the young ones but I think it is good for the 0-5 yers old. After that they may get bored. There was a big barn room, a sand room, a town and a water room. Well after our long day I am very tired but wanted to get the picture on so Iam going to go to bed. Love ya and pleas keep signing the guestbook.

March 15,2009 Happy St. Patrick's Day Everyone!

Bradyn is learning so many new things I am having trouble kkeping up with them all. He has learned to trick ride on his pony and no his big red car. He wants to ride everything standing up. He also is kinda riding the power wheel Harley that Debbie bought and Owen always rode.

Today he wa learning about his shadow it was so cute and I wish I had a video of it but I was home alone and could not go in to get it. He waswalking backwards and trying to stomp on it and bending down trying t touch it.

We also have some new words: keys, rock, spiderman, cookie, poop, oh man, eddie(ready)et(set)go! and we are working on Thank you.  I think are all the new ones it seems like he learns a new ne everyday. He also can tell you the animal or sound for cow, pig, dog, cat, duck, frog, monkey, lion, bear, sheep, goat, horse and we are working on elephant.

We have not taken him to speech yet but thans toKelly I fund a place that is right here in Warren who will do it for us. They are called Help Me Grow and actualy came for a home visit whe we first came home from the hospital. So I am going to contact them. They have a ton of programs for all ages. Thank You Kelly.

Scary Mommy Moment!

Last Sat. on March 7,2009 Bradyn, Buxy and I were outside playing. Buxy not being the smartest dog again got wrapped up on the clothes pole. Bradyn and I was in the garage playing with his big red car. He was fixing it. So I ran in the back yard tokeep Buxy from choking himself and the back to the garage. About a minute tops. Bradyn was gone! He was not in the garage or the side yard. I started shaking, screaming, and crying running around the yard like a crazy woman. I checked the backyard, the neighbors yard, the sideyard, and the garage. Lastly I checked the front yard and just as I turned to run across the street to our neighbors with two small boys, I see a small foot peek out from behind the huge tree in our yard. I go running up to grab him and yell "Bradyn what are you doing?" He is laughing and says "boo mama". I have never been so scared in my entire life! Just had to share because I know one day I will look back on it and laugh.

March 8,2009 Bradyn and I made Papa a cake for his birthday and we all went over for pizza and cake today. Before hand we went to the roller rink for a liitle while and skated. They didn't have skates small enough for Bradyn so we had totake turns watching him but he had a blast running around and playing with the fun house mirror that is still there. Its crazy how that place hasn't changed at all. Enjoy the new pictues and talk to you soon. Love ya!

  Happy Birthday PaPa!

March 1,2009  Bradyn is having drainage again from his ears this time it started in the right ear which is a first since we had his tubes. It of course made its way over to theleft but nt nearly as much or for as long as the right. I was on a website fr moms and they told me to try Zyrtec for Children and it seemed to help. The dose for those of us with children under to is 1/2 tsp. every 24 hours. It cleared up his running nose and cough in no time. I still think we need to ave him tested for allergies but I guess only time will tell.

He has some new words that he started saying this week. He know says: daddy, mama, papa, dee, Buxy, O, nana, bye, hi, car, dog, Kylie, eye, nose, ear, mouth, teeth, cheeks, butt, hair, uh oh, no, and mine. That is all I can think of for now but he tries to repeat a lot of what you say even if sometimes he shouldn't. Yes my potty mouth already got me in trouble. We are trying to work on teaching him some of the day to day word like milk, cup, juice, and eat.

Well bud is cleaning our carpets so I better get off here and help. Love ya all and please let me know you stopped by I hate talking to myself.

Feb 21, 2009  We took Bradyn back to see Dr.Guru on Friday. He gained weight so he was happy with his progress and we don't have to go back for another weight check until his 2 year appointment. He wants us to take him to a speech theropist though and have an evaluation done. He is talking more but not as much as he wants him to be. However the closest one on our insurance plan is over an hour away. So we are thinking about it and checking into the local hospitals and health department. I don't have a problem going there is that is what we have to do but it will be really hard to take him there often for theropy if it is needed with it being that far away. Please keep us in your prayers that he starts talking more and that I can find something a little closer to home. Love ya all.

I HAVE HEARD HIM SAY 20 OR MORE WORDS HE IS JUST SHY AROUND PEOPLE....I THINK HE IS PERFECTLY NORMAL . THINK HE SAYS DEE, OWEN, NANA, PAPA, NICKI, BUXY, TEETH, EYE, BALL, MARLEY, MOM, DAD...DO I NEED TO KEEP GOING?HE WILL REPEAT ALOT OF WHAT YOU SAY ON A GOOD DAY. BUT IF YOU THINK IT WILL HELP DO THE SPEECH THERAPY. I WOULD SAY WAIT UNTIL HE IS TWO, THEN SEE. THANK YOU FOR SAVING MY MIND...WITH THE NUMBING EAR DROPS. EARACHES SUCK! I'M GLAD THAT IS THE FIRST AND HOPEFULLY THE LAST.

I dont know about Ohio, but there should be Early Intervention programs for his age, that ahould be free, and in the county that you live. If his delay is great enough to qualify him. Then the therapist hopefully can monitor him thru the year for any other delays. But... If you wait...you will kick your self later (trust me) that you didnt do more if something shows up, you know what I mean.

Feb. 15,2009 Hope every had a great Valentine's Day.

Things are slowly getting back to normal from the nasty cold that had ahold of our house. We all still have the runny nose and cough but it is improving. Enjoy the new pictures and love ya all.

Jan. 25,2009  We are sorry to hear of Jodie,Joe and Owens loss of Maggie May she will be greatly missed and was a big part of our family.

We took Bradyn to see Dr. Guru for his 18 mos checkup on Friday. He has a double ear infection and is on antibiotics for it. Thankfully though because of his tubes he is only having cold like symptoms with a nasty cough and runny nose.

Also he only weighs 20 lbs 3 ozs. and is 31 inches tall. He is concerned with his weight and wants to recheck it in a month and wants us to start giving him pedisure or something to put weight on him. I didn't think much of it because he eats well most of the time but is always on the move so he runs it all off. He has however almost stopped eating all meat and cheese but loves veggies and fruit so I don't know if that has something to do with him being so tiny.

We also have to have him rechecked on his speech in a month, he wants him to be saying close to 20 words.  Right now I know that he says daddy, mom,Kylie, please, ball, bowl, bye,PaPa. That is all  I can think of off the top of my head, he likes to repeat things that you say though. Well he is waking up from his nap so please sign the guestbook.

Jan. 15, 2009 I hope this doe not jinx us but getting Bradyn to sleep in his own bed has been going very well. He has bed in bed by 9 every night and asleep by 9:15 at the lasted. He has only really cried about 5 minutes tops each night. And has only fussed a little when he wakes at night. I hope if continues to go like this. Although I miss him dearly sleeping next to me and loved wakign up to him I know it is for the best.

Well I jinxed us he has been great every night until last night and last night he screamed all night. At 5:00 we got up and played for about an hour then went back to bed at 6:15. Even with not sleeping all night at 8:00 he was up and yelling mom. I hope last night was just a one night problem it was very hard on my heart and lack of sleep.

Jan. 11, 2008 I had to get on here and document that I just let Bradyn cry it out for his nap and he is currently napping in his crib! I tried to lay him down for a nap and he fought it with all he had and tried to get me to let him up. Instead of just giving in like I normally would I put him in his crib and shut the bedroom door. Bud was home so I then locked myself into the bathroom and took a hot shower so I couldn't hear him crying and so I could cry myself of course. By the time I got out of the shower he was sound asleep. It is nice not to have to worry about him falling of the bed and if he is awake or not but now I don't know what to do about bedtime. Since I have let it go so long do I need to do this slowly or do I just do it cold turkey and let him cry at bedtime. I hate to hear him cry but I know he has to learn it sometime. Also we are really trying to work on his behavior I don't want a kid that noone wants to be around. So I am up for suggestions does time out work this young? He is a very good kid most of the time but I want him to know that when a grownup says no they mean no. Well I just had to get on here and document this for myself . Thanks for reading my babble and please let me know you stopped by- sign the guestbook.

I know with xander we had to let him cry it out and it took about two weeks to get over it but if you know he is safe its the best thing for both of you the longer you wait the harder it gets and we had to listen to xander cry for about an hour off adn on for those two weeks he transitioned it was a nightmare kris had to tel me constantly not to go up and check on him lol so i feel your momma pain and its also best to qiut cold turkey or you'll send mixed messsages and as for the behaviour aspect i find slapping there hand to be a very affective form of discipline that gets there attention at least most of the time LOL sometimes there just stubborn ...have no idea where they got that from LOL anyways hope that helps some parenting is a hard job learning how to tell what is right for each child and not feeling giulty when were not sure or when we punish them LOL but your doing a great job =) Hugs and prayers =)

Jan. 1, 2009 Thank you Aunt Jodie and Uncle Joe for inviting us to Splash Lagoon with you we had a reat time.

Hope everyone had a happy and safe New Year. I hope this year only brings us better things and that our family and  friends only continue to grow closer and stronger.

Enjoy the new photos. My little guy is going to 18 mos tomorrow. He still isn't saying much that anyone but us can understand. He knows all of his body parts and we are working on animals now. He can point out a lot of them but doesn't make their sounds. He also got a bunch of wood puzzles and can put all of them together with much help. Well better go eat dinner. love ya all and don't forget to let me know you dropped by.

P.S. One of my New Years resolutions is to get Bradyn to sleep in his own bed so if anyone and ideas or advice please let me know. I really hate to hear my baby cry but I know he is going to so advice on how to get through it is also needed.

Dec.27,2008 Christmas was great. Seeing it in the eyes of a child is so amazing, even though he is still a little young to understand Santa and all those things. Bud made us DVD's of Bradyn's first year set to music and a coffee cup with pictures on it. So sweet and very special.

Thank you everyone for the Birthday wishes and coming over for my Birthday. It was great and this is a great time in my life, despite everything going in the world.

Well I better go so while my house is still standing. Enjoy the pictures and I hope everyone had a great holiday season.

Dec.19,2008 I just had to post that I have the best mother ever! We had Bradyn's Christmas party today at Daycare and after it he wanted to go home with Nana. We also have our office party tonight. Without a blink of the eye she grabs his diaper bag and puts him in his carseat in her car. Now I am sitting here alone enjoying a cup of coffee and getting ready for my party. Thank you mom you seem to know what I need without me even telling or asking. You are amazing and I love you! And to eveyone else hope to see you at Jodie's

Dec 5, 2008 Happy Birthday Kelly, Uncle Joe and Wendy. as you can see we decorated the tree and went to Kranyak's it was ablast. Bradyn met two little girls that were a little older then him and they went through the lane together. It was very sweet. It is amazing to watch the season through the eyes of a child. This is the first season he really can express what he sees and it is very exciting. He loves lights and snow. Well he is in the tub I so I better run just wanted to get some new pictures on while I had a minute. Love you and hope everyone has a great holiday season.

P.S. We did not put him in the cage he puts himself in there to play, but isn't my new puppy cute.

Nov 28th Happy Belated Birthday Daddy and Sherrie

Thanksgiving was great it was good to have everyone together. Hope you enjoy the pictures and everyone had a great holiday.

Nov 18, 2008 We had our first snowfall of the season. Bradyn seems to love the snow as much as he loves to be outside. Enjoy the pictures.

Nov 14, 2008  If I haven't said it in for awhile I am totally in love with being a mom. This truly is the best time of my life. And even more I love being a mom and an aunt and seeing the two most important boys in my life together is truly amazing and a blessing and what I am thankful for this year.

Well enough sappiness. Bradyn's tubes are doing their job I guess he is having fluid again out of the left ear. This is the second time out of the same ear, last time was Oct. 21, 2008. Make me want to sit down and cry though seeing that suff come out of him. We got his blood work back and everything was good except one hemoglobin G. The pedi said that could be the cause of his ear infections and sinus problems. He did a kind of allergy test and it came back normal. The lead was also good.

He still isn't really talking. He knows almost all of his body parts and can point out all kinds of animals in his book. He loves to sit and listen or read. He knows the sign for more. We are working on animal sounds and sometime he will tell you moo and bark bark but not always. We have also taught him to give the rock. He is a climbing machine and now my chairs have to be put on top the kitchen table to keep him down. His new hiding spot is in the dogs kennel. He takes his monkey, pillow and sippy cup in there. Well enjoy the pictures and hope everyone is well. Love you all.

Oct 27, 2008 Just wanted to share some of our early Halloween pictures with you all. We carved pumpkins for Bradyn's first time and at first he didn't care for it but he warmed up awhile. He is growing and changing so much so quickly. He has a slight cold now with nasty cough.

Some of his new things he is still saying uh-oh and bye pretty well. He has started to say dog somewhat but you have to listen close. He can point to his head, eyes, nose and feet. And still loves to dance and throw things in the garbage. I know there is more that I can't think of right now but gotta go get the sippy cup from the trash. Love you all and remember to sign the guestbook and let me know you were here. Is anyne out there?

Oct. 17, 2008 Today was Bradyn's 15 month checkup and he did well. I broke down and let him have the MMR shot even though it scares me to death. He also got his flu shot. WE have to take him for bloodwork and have his lead level checked and get him tested for allergies. He weighs 20 pounds 2 ozs.and is 30 inches long. Just a little peanut.

The tubes seem to be doing the job though and he is doing much better. It was amazing how well it went. His appointment was at 6:45 and we were headed home by 8:00. The surgery was actaully scheduled for 7:30 but we had to be there early for preop and stuff. When we came home he was fine and acted normal. He did take a little longer nap then usual at nap time but that was it. Since then his response time is getting better and he is babbling a lot more. H seems to play with his ears alot more and refuses to keep the wax in them for bath time. We had another wedding this past weekend ( four weddings in four weeks)and he actually was plugging his ears when the band started.

He is doing some talking finally he says bye-bye and uh-oh all the time, sometimes mom and dad and when he sees a motorcycle he says papa. We are still working on body parts and he really has down nose and sometime eyes. Well I better get some sleep it is getting late. please sign the guestbook and let us know you stopped by. Love everyone.
