We've made it to 40 weeks! Now we're trying to coax Aiden out with chinese food. :)

Back from the birth center. Mommy still measures @ 41 cm, has gained exactly 25 lbs, no swelling, has good blood pressure and Aiden's heartbeat is perfect. Daddy is still betting on Thursday. :)

Back from the birth center. Everything looks good. Mommy's blood pressure is great. He's been head-down for almost 10 weeks now. Mommy measured @ 41 cm. and Aiden is approximately 7.5 lbs.

Mommy is preparing to do her belly cast today. It's getting really close! Any day now, we could be meeting Aiden.

And drumstick please (wait, that isn't right). . . er drum-roll please (mmm Hawaiian rolls). . . seriously now. . . and drum roll please: Today Aiden and Mommy are considered FULL TERM!!
It is now safe for him to arrive into our world. For this Mommy is extremely thankful. Happy Turkey Day!

Today begins our weekly visits to the birth center. Mommy's blood pressure is great and Aiden has officially dropped as far as he can until he's born. Apparently Mommy has an awesome pelvis.

Aiden reached 36 weeks yesterday!
Mommy and Auntie Carey went to the birth center yesterday (Daddy was at the dentist). Aiden has a good strong heartbeat, has been moving consistently and Mommy's blood pressure was really low (Jane the midwife had to take it twice to verify the top number). Everything seems great in Aiden land. Also, Mommy got stuck in a booth for the first time today. Looks like she's gonna have to learn to sit in chairs from now on. :)

35 weeks today! Only about 5 more to go and then our lives will never be the same.
Mommy can't believe how fast it's going (or how strong he seems already) and can't wait to hold Aiden.

Aiden kicked Mommy in the ribs for the first time last night. Mommy had been leaning forward as she sat on the sofa and Aiden ran out of room.

Aiden is 34 weeks today!
Daddy, Mommy, GramMary and Auntie Carey are going to the birth center today. Aiden is feeling heavier to Mommy every day.

November is here! Hooray for the wonderful smell of fall!
Mommy dressed as a pumpkin for Halloween, and both Daddy and Mommy took Ianna and Griffin trick-or-treating with their daddy. Unfortunately, Mommy was really really tired after walking all around the neighborhood.
Aiden had a really cute reaction to Mommy last Friday: GramMary and Mommy were reading at Starbucks and Aiden had been stretching his feet out all through the day. But, Mommy had been too tired to to react. So, when Aiden stretched his foot again and Mommy pushed back on it, it really startled him and he jumped and shook his little arms. It was too cute!

33 weeks today!
Aiden has been moving very regularly. Mommy keeps feeling little feet stretching out by her belly button and Daddy enjoys watching her belly jump and morph.

Aiden is 32 weeks today!
Mommy, Daddy and GramMary went to the birth center again today for a checkup. Mommy's tummy is measuring 33 cm and her glucose and iron level tests came back great. Mommy has finally gained some weight and is now up 16 lbs. The midwife checked Aiden's position and he is still head down (has been for the last 4 weeks). Aiden should now be almost 4 lbs and up to 19" long. As he takes up more space, Mommy is sometimes getting heartburn at night. He also likes wakeup at about 11:30 pm and stays awake until about 2 am.

Last night Mommy and Daddy felt Aiden's hiccups for the first time! Very cute!

Aiden is 31 weeks today!
Daddy and Mommy spent last weekend in Yakima with Opa and Oma. We got to see Great Grandma, Uncle Jeff, Auntie Christine, Aunt Dee and Cousin Cory at dinner. Daddy and Mommy also took their first child birth class on Monday and loved it. Lately, Mommy has been having a lot of acid reflux at night. Thankfully, Daddy surprised her with some Tums yesterday (they worked wonders).

30 weeks today!
Aiden turns and stretches all the time now. He should be just over 3 pounds and over 17 inches long. Daddy, Mommy and GramMary are all going to the birth center today and get to hear Aiden's heart beat again.

He moves at least once every 15 minutes so Mommy doesn't forget he's there.
Aiden also decided to stick out a foot at Safeway yesterday.

Mommy is feeling much better today. Aiden was a little jumping bean all day yesterday and Mommy thinks he is very entertaining.
He is absolutely adorable!
