Stories July 2, 2009 Well, another 5 months has gone by and finally another story. These past months have been super busy, sad, full of happy times, and some not so great!! Johnny left us on March 17th and it has been HARD to say the least. I give props to all of those military families out there who do this many times over. I was lucky that I have gotten many opportunities to go out and see Johnny. He graduated on June 2nd and finished at the top of his class. Number one to be exact, lol. We are so proud of him and cannot wait until he comes home. He finishes up on July 29th and we are so excited to see him back home with us. Jackson has missed his daddy soooo much and mommy misses her hubster! Daddy, Jack and mommy need you home now because we are still waiting for the little brother or sisters of Jack's, ha ha. Jackson is growing like a weed. He had a drs appt last Wednesday and is still 41 1/2 inches and did lose a little weight and is now at 34.6 lbs. He is soooo happy, crazy, moody, and such a good boy MOST of the time. Jack took a stab at trying out bitty ball this year. Yeah no so interested in it yet! We will be trying soccer this month, but I am not going to hold my breath. Mommy and Jack have been on many trips this year. We have taken 5 or so trips out to see John in NM and boy let me tell you, 14-15 hour car rides are not so fun! Jack I have to say is always VERY good in the car. He is so content watching his movies. Jack and I went to and stayed a couple nights in pismo beach a couple weekends ago where we relaxed and walked on the beach. The weather could have been warmer, but it was still fun. Jack did get wiped out by a few waves and was soaked head to toe, but he still had a blast! We just got back home from 5 fun filled days in Scottsdale, AZ where Jack caught his first fish! He helped mommy actually reel in about 5 fish. He doesn't like to get to close when they are out of the water and squirms and laughs a lot. He fed ducks, swam A LOT, had some movie nights in the pool and had a blast on the waterslides at the Fairmont Resort. We were there two part; to get a little vacay in and watch my niece Camren compete in the nationals for her dancing. Camren raked in the awards and was one of the top 4 performers of the year! This past April 30th we lost Papa Don. John's stepdad was one of the greatest men I have ever met. Jack loved his Papa and I am so saddened that Jack only got 3 years (however; they were still wonderful) with him and that Don won't be here to watch Jack grow. I know those two would have had the best time working on Papa's cars together. Too funny because today as we were leaving Grandma Nancy's house, we walked through the garage and Jack said, "Mom that garage smells GOOD." I told him he is crazy that it smells like old cars and tools and he said, "Yep." He will definately be a car guy!! Same old same old with me. I am still enjoying work. I am really looking forward to Johnny coming home. I can't wait. To go from only spending one ot two nights away from eachother at a time in 7 years to all of the sudden having almost 4 1/2 months apart is crazy! It has been really hard without him here. I miss seeing him everyday. I miss him giving me my morning kiss when he leaves for work and my evening kiss when he returns home. But soon enough I will get it back. Let me tell you I can NEVER be a single mother! I love love love my Jackster, but he has been soooooo clingy since Johnny has been gone. I am ready for a little help. I did have one night away from him when I went to SD to hang with the girls for a friends b-day! That was nice but also made me feel quite quilty that I was leaving him without daddy OR mommy!! Jack has just had such a hard year with us moving, Daddy leaving, Papa Don passing away, and us moving again!! I can't wait until we either move back into our house or buy another one so we can go back to being our little family of 3!! Oh wait 4, Dave. Oh Dang 5, forgot about the little Tink Stink!!!
2/19/2009 Well, finally another story. At this rate it looks as though I may get in at least 4 a year. Lots going on with the B's. Jackson had his 3 year doctors appt. on Feb 17th and is a whopping 40 1/2 inches and 35 lbs. He is sooo tall and lean that I thought for sure 35 lbs sounded like a lot. Of course that is what Johnny told me because he was there with Jack when he got weighed. He is loving school more and more and is doing so much better when he drop him off in the mornings. He goes to school on W, Th, and Fri. Registration just opened for Bitty Ball and we are looking forward to watching him play when the season starts in April. He is really inot monster trucks still and loves being outdoors at the park or riding his bike. He is soooo smart and so cleaver it cracks me up; however, he has the moody Bicondova attitude. I think he is hanging around Papa Pat too much , lol. We had a small party with family on Jack's b-day and are looking forward to his big party in March. Johnny FINALLY got his call from the Border Patrol and am sad to say leaves for the academy in Artesia, NM on the 9th of March until sometime in July. I am glad he finally got the call, but am going to be really sad when he leaves. We will miss him so much. We are going to go out to see him once a month and he will make a trip home once a month also on the weekends. So every other weekend seeing eachother won't be bad. I dont' know how military wives deal with year long trips where they don't get to see eachother at all. Anyway, when John gets back he will be working out of Indio. So either we go back to our house, or keep it rented out and TRY to buy another house back in Beaumont where we lived before. As for myself I am keeping busy with work and still loving it. I also have just started going back to school and am looking forward to flexing my brain power. I am still hopeful that I will be going to MN to work for a month or so and hear there is another trip to Utah also. Nothing else too exciting, lol. I will post pics one day when I have time. I know once John is gone I will be posting pics and stories often so he can see our little turkey when he is gone! 12/26/08 Trying to get one last story in before the new year. We hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas and hope you all have a wonderful new years!! We had a great Christmas!! Jack still isn't too interested in Christmas. We put cookies out for Santa and Jack ate half of them and drank Santa's milk, lol. So we had to replenish Santa's supply. I had to get Jack up Christmas morning and remind him Santa came. He walked out and saw his new bike under the tree. I told him, look Santa brought you a new bike. He told me no, his bike was in the garage and he wanted to go back to bed, lol. I told him we had to open his stocking and he finally agreed. Of course the first things in it were matchbox cars and as soon as he got those out he wanted to go back to his room and play with his cars and go back to bed, lol. He finally did get into the spirit and hopped on his new bike and opened his presents. John and I said we should have taken advantage of these years and save mucho moola on Christmas, ha ha. We opened presents here, went to John's moms house, went to my moms house, and then did the almost 3 hour drive to San Diego (rain and traffic) to spend the rest of Christmas with the rest of John's side of the family!!! Jack was spoiled as usual. He got his real big boy quad and is LOVING it. Daddy and I drove around 4 or 5 different places today to get him a helmet as the real off road helmets are too heavy for him and will break his neck. So we got a lighter weight boarding helmet that they say will work just fine! And on to better new, John FINALLY I mean FINALLY got his acceptance letter today from Boarder Patrol saying he passed everything and they will be giving him a call for his job offer and location. He gets to start at a higher rank and has more time towards his retirement from them being that he worked for the federal fire department for a few years. We knew he had passed everthing, but its the letter that finally makes it real. We are sooo hoping he gets San Diego or Temecula so we can get back into our home. As much as I hated it there, I actually miss it. I am hoping that he leaves for the academy in March. I have a really great opportunity to go work in Minneapolis for a month and make more money that I would make working for the Feds in a month that I would in almost a year!! I hope it works out. John and Jack would be able to fly up and see me on the weekends or I could fly home!! I am so excited and can't wait for whatever happens!!! Things are finally starting to go our way, although I can't complain things have still be amazing. We are very very blessed to have such amazing family who love and support us. 11/26/08 Finally I am updating. I figured I would do a x-mas background because I don't know when I will have time! Things are going great! My contract for work is almost up, but I am getting hired on by the Dept. of Forestry working in their training dept. I will be writing the training software for all the courses and scheduling people in for their classes. I get to keep my M-Th schedule which is great!!! We have been so busy and been having a blast going places and seeing everyone. Johnny is doing great woking as a supervisor for the county, but is still anxiously awaiting his phone call from Border Patrol. He has passed all of his background and we are just waiting for the phone call to tell us where we are going. We are thinking that it may be San Diego which would be great because we can be around Jamie and the kids, tons of John's family, and several of my good friends down there. Jack is just amazing. He REALLY loves school now. No more crybabies, as he calls it, when I drop him off in the morning. He has soo many new friends. We took him to Knott's again for the night because he has been fully potty trained for almost the last two months. It is soo nice not to have to bring diapers anywhere! I will have to put up pics of the trip in a bit. I am tired of loading pictures, lol. He can say his ABC's, count to 15 in English and Spanish and really is just all around so smart. I know everyone says that about their kids, but really he is, lol. He is just about 32 lbs and 40 inches tall. Derick is doing great. He is still with my mom. My brother visits him all the time and he is working with my father-in-law now. So that is great. Derick is getting so big. He is sooo super funny and such a good baby. I will have to post more pics of him later. I did post one with my brother and him. That should be all for now. I can't think of anything. I mean I could really go into detail about what we have been doing, but nobody wants to read that book, ha ha. At the end of September our good friend Stuart (he was our next door neighbor and married to my good friend of 12 years Michelle) passed away suddenly. They don't know why. But could you all keep Michelle and her family in your thoughts and prayers especially around this time of year!!! I am going to try, I said try, to update a little more often! 7/27/08 Wow almost 2 months with no updates. My site was down for a while because I had to cancel my debit card due to some online issues!! So I finally have my new card and have turned it back on. Now, I just have to find the time do make a background, lol. Things here are going great. We finally got our house rented out and the new tenants signed a 2 year lease which is great!! I have started working with my father-in-law and Jack has FINALLY stated going to school. He has only been 6 times and it kills me everytime I have to drop him off. Oh the crying from both of us, lol. I of course wait until I get in the car. He is doing a little better each day, but I imagine its going to take him a couple of more weeks to get the swing of things. This past Friday, we all got a boat and went to Big Bear and took Jack on his first fishing trip!!! We had a great time. I would have taken pics (well I did with a disposable) but I dropped my camera and broke it! So looks like I have to get a new one. Jack jumped in the lake and pushed daddy in by accident when he was fully clothed. I almost peed my pants watching it. He was feeling a little down in the dumps later that day. He already caught a bug from school and has a croupy cough, fever, and runny nose!! So looks like he won't make it to school tomorrow which he should love, lol. We tell him we all have to go to work and that means him too. If he is good and gets stickers he make his own money (prizes). I think he really like that idea. He did like his fishing trip prize!! Nothing else too exciting going on. So I will try to write more when some more exciting things happen. 6/7/08 OMG has it really been that long since I have written, lol. I know I HAVE put up some pics. Where do I begin, lol. Let's see At the end of March beginning of April, Johnny got laid off from work. He was actually a little excited because he was done with construction. We took a nice trip to AZ a couple weekends after that. It has been very nice having him home and we have done soooo much with the boys from bike rides around the lake, picnics, wild animal park, etc. Johnny had CHP testing at the beg. of April and we were hopeful things would go great so we came up with a plan. Our plan was to rent out our house and have us go stay with family! We knew he would be leaving for several months for training and I CAN'T stay alone due to the fact that I am a wussy and with Jamie gone I really didn't have anyone down there with me. Also, we would be able to save money and we knew when he would be at the academy he would only be getting paid about 3,000 a month and we didn't want to waste savingto pay for the house until he finally left. Also, who wants to move out for 6 months and move back in when we could more than likely find renters who would rather rent for a year. He did GREAT and passed everything, with the exception of the background (one of his last stages) which he filed for an extention for. Well, right as we were moving out of the house we got a call that they never received his extention and he had to start all over again! We were both upset, but Johnny I believe really didn't want to do CHP anyway! He did test for Boarder Patrol, Customs, and the Immigration Dept. All are looking great and he should have no problems getting into all of them. We are hoping for immigration so we can be back in our house in a year and John can work out of San Diego, plus the pay is great, ha ha ha. Sooooo we are currently living with my in-laws and things are going really really great!!! I love it here and it's nice to have Gma Ruby home with me during the day. Jack is having a blast! Oh and Johnny did get another job working as a Supervisor for the County until he finds out if he is going to GA or NM for training. So we have been really really busy with moving, stressing, living, and having fun! Now that things are all settled I will have more time to update! I am loving it here! It's so nice and is I love that I have the best in-laws anyone could ask for. Plus, I am super close to my mom and only a couple doors down from Johnny's mom and stepdad. I have been walking a lot and working out on my wii fit! Hopefully I will be able to lose 10-15 lbs. It's nice to be here because I have my MIL's to walk with and such a beautiful place to walk in. So in a couple of weeks I will do my first weigh in and see how much I lost, lol. I am hoping to get to 140! I would love 135 but we will see. Johnny is doing great now that he is starting work again. He loves being home with us but is loving that he is now working again! He told me he was ready to go flip burgers at McDonalds just to get out of the house. Ha ha I told him, now you know what I go through every day! He told me he never doubted that it was hard! He really has always praised me for what a hard job being a SAHM is. Jack our little spit fire is AMAZING. He is getting so big it is killin me. He is talking so much and I swear really really is super smart. I am not just saying that because he is my kid, lol. He loves being here with his gma's and papa! They spoil the poop out of him! It is nice when Papa and Gma come home and he wants to hang with them for a bit, it gives me a little break. He loves firetrucks, his 20 million matchbox cars, riding his yamaha quad (power wheels), and he has a new love of watching movies! Thanks gma Cheryl!! His new favorite phrases are OH MY GOSH and when we are walking and going up the BIG tanker hill, he will say YEAHHHH WE MADE IT, GOOD JOB! Oh yeah, and he loves to step on snails and say OHHHHH NASTY! Derick is doing great! My mom now has him in her home. Since we moved and were going to stay here or at John's moms house, they wanted to do fingerprinting on everyone at both houses and check out the homes and make it this HUGE ordeal! His mom is suppose to get him back in the next month or so, so we figured since my mom was already approved, it was would be best to place him there. He had a great b-day party and we all had a great time. Plus, I can see him everyday since he is not far away. I got tons of cute new pics that I will have to post when I get my camera from my moms! We left it there last week when we stayed for a couple days!! Thanks if you made it this far!!! I will try to update and visit other sites more often. I know I always say that, huh? God Bless everyone! Love the B's 3/25/08 I love that I am getting comments on how I am keeping up with the site, lol. So here are a couple more pics for you guys!!! 3/24/08
Happy Easter to everyone. We had a great one. John, Jack, Derick, Dave and I
Other than that all is well. Jack is still going strong with his attitude, lol. He is Derick is doing great. He is walking now and getting into EVERYTHING. When he first came to live with us he would cry so hard when I left the room that he would pass out. He stopped for such a long while and is at it again. It really freaks me out. He is such a happy baby and we are going to miss him when he is gone!! 3/17/08 Wow, I am on a roll. Two whole stories in a month, whooo hoooo, lol. I am trying to think of what has been going on. A couple weekends ago Jack's Grandma Nancy, Grandma Cheryl, and Great Grandma Ruby too him and I to Knott's Berry Farm for the night for one of his b-day presents. He had a great time. I think he was a little overwhelmed with the rides at first, but soon fell in love with them. He had Snoopy Come up to the room at night to tuck him in. It was funny because he was so excited to see Snoopy from far away, but when he came to the room it took a while for him to warm up to him. Jack has his 2 year appt on the 21st of Feb and was 28 lbs and 35 1/2 inches. I still swear he is taller, lol. He was tall enough at Knott's to ride all the 36" and up rides. Other than that he is doing great. He is talking so much now and is such a good little guys MOST of the time. Although the terrible twos show their face regularly. He is back in the habit of gettting out of his bed at night and wandering in with mom and dad. We put him back and some nights I wind up falling asleep in his bed with him. Gosh it's such a bad habit, but man I am tired. Derick is doing great. He has his 6th tooth coming in and is starting to walk. He will be 10 months on the 20th and is doing so great. He started standing up on his own unassisted a couple days after Jack's birthday. In the last few days he has started trying to take more and more steps. I think he is up to 4 now. I can't believe how big he is getting. He had a drs appt on the 25 and was 21 lbs and I believe 26 inches. He has been having supervised visits with his mom and all seems to be going pretty well. Johnny just celebrated his 33rd b-day on the 10th. Thank you Tina for wishing his a Happy Birthday. His lazy wife didn't post anything, ha ha ha. He has been training again for his triathlons and has his first on of the year the first weekend in April in Coronado. Then the following weekend we will be in AZ for another one. John won't be in the AZ one becuase he has his testing for CHP. I hope he does well. He is so burned out on construction and not to mention the fact that it is sooooooo slow! He already passed the written and has to do his physical agility (which should be cake for him) and his physc part of the test. As for me, same old same old. Still sitting at home praying for a job. I have applied for several and am waiting to hear back. I love being at home with Jack, but he needs to be in school and I need adult interaction. Plus, me having a job will help out a lot now especially with John's work slowing down. Other than that not too much going on. We wish everyone a Happy Easter Holiday!!! 2/19/08 Well, I am finally getting around to updating the stories, but hey at least I did put up some pics, lol. Jack had a GREAT birthday. Not as many people as last year, which was soooo less chaotic. We had about 40 adults and 14 kids. I still ran around like a chicken with it's head cut off. I thought that hiring someone to come and cook would make things easier, which it did, but there was still so much I had to do. So next year, please remind me how much I don't enjoy hosting a party, lol. I love that Jack has sooo much fun with all the kids, but I hate that I don't get to spend any time with him on his big day. We are taking him to Knotts for the night on the 28th which should be a blast. We are saving the night at Disneyland for sometime in April or May! Jack made out with gifts as usual. The one mommy is not to fond of is the bounce house he got from Papa Don, THANKS PAPA DON, lol. I am going to have fun setting up and taking that thing down. It's huge! John and I are doing good. We are looking forward to John's birthday next. Then our little vacation to Az in April. The boys are doing great. Jack has his 2 year appt on the 21st and I can't wait to see how much he has grown. I am guessing he is 37 inches and 28 lbs, but we will see!! He is talking so much more now and LOVES the movie cars. He would watch it all day long if I let him. Although I have to admit sometimes it is nice when he does watch it so I can get things around the house done. He get along with Derick so well and loves playing with him, although there are times when he gets mad when Derick touches his things, lol. I guess they act like brothers. Derick now has 2 more teeth, one that he got on the 30th of Jan and another on the 7th of Feb. He will be 9 months on the 20th and actually stood up on the lawn in the backyard without hold on to anything, totally on his own. He did that on the 12th of Feb. Can you tell I am trying to keep track of these things so that I can let him mom know. His mom Erika is out of jail. She got out on the 14th and has had 2 visits with him. It was so sad to see that he really didn't remember her. He was only about 5 months when she went away. She was really excited about seeing him and is doing everything in her power to get him back. She went today and signed up for her parenting classes and is hoping to get him back within a few weeks. We will miss him so much, but if she is going to be doing good, Derick needs to be with him mom. I hate seeing him go back and forth and confusing the poor little guy. But I am glad that she is going to let us keep seeing him. We are looking forward to the summertime so we can pull out the water slide again. I can't wait to get some color and hate being so white, lol. John is also training again for his tri's so we started going back to the gym again last week, and man am I sore! This summer is going to be a great one yet again because my sister and the kids are going to be staying in Cali. We are even more excited that they are moving right around the corner from us. I can't wait to walk the boys down there in the morning for coffee or tea. That will give me a great work out too because of these darn hills we live in. Well, just wanted to catch everyone up a little! Talk to you all soon and HAPPY BELATED VALENTINES DAY to EVERYONE. 1/20/08 Well, I am actually writing another story. Wow that makes 2 for the month of January. Things here are going pretty darn good. Life with Jack and Derick seems to have worked out. It is A LOT easier. The first few days were the hardest, but now it is just our normal routine. He is still so good and is such a happy little guy. Jack is doing so great and talks a lot. He can ride his two wheeler with training wheels so great! John and I use to call Jack fat boy when he was a baby, although I don't know why he was always a little bird. So we call Derick fat boy too and it seems to work with him since he is a little chubbo, lol. So anyway Jack was riding his bike around the house and stopped because Derick was in his way. All of the sudden John and I heard, "Move Fat Boy, " lol. we were cracking up. Jack b-day party is getting under way. I have his tables and chairs ordered and his blues clues bounce house. All of the party supplies are ordered and now all I have to do is get the food. John and I took Jack to the Monster Jam Truck show last night at Qualcomm in San Diego with my sister Jamie, Ricky, sister Jessica, her hubby Matt, and his brother Chris. We had a great time. Jack LOVED the trucks. My favorite part was the demolotion derby. We had fun amoungst all the hicks, lol. No really it wasn't that bad. I imagine there would have been more had it been in Texas or somewhere back east. Derick was actually able to spend the night with my mom. I had to call and get approval for it and was surprised that I was actually able to have him out of my sight for a minute. I am so excited to get to have him back home today. I can't believe how much I missed the little guy. We woke up this morning and Jack came in our room. I was thinking, Johnny, (it was around 8 or so) I hope the baby is okay. I haven't heard a peep out of him. Then I realized he was at my moms, lol. Johnny had been home a lot earlier lately. Work has been slow, which is not good for us. But it is nice to have him here. I miss him when he has to actually put in a full day. On a good note, I have testing for a city job which I am sooooo excited about. I can't wait to get out of the house and interact with adults during the day. My only issue so far is what we are going to do with the baby. I really want Jack to go to Montessori, but they don't take kids under 18 months. So for a while I will probably have them both at the same daycare until Derick goes back with his family. It will just be too hard having to drop them off and pick them up at 2 different places. I am just excited for the benefit and retirement that I will get from the city. We pay almost 200 a week now and it kills us!! Anyway I am going to put up so new and old pics. I think some of them are still from x-mas, lol. Enjoy!
LOVE 1/1/08 Can you believe that it is already 2008, how time flies. I want to say I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We have been very very busy. We are all adjusting to life with a new baby. Derick turned 7 months on the 20th and is doing great. Although I have to say that it is very difficult to get back into the routine of having to do all you have to for a little one. Jack is so independent these days that I can get A LOT done around the house with him. Derick on the other hand is a different story, lol. If I even leave Derick on the family room floor playing with toys for a second to get laundry, he screams and cries SOOOOOO loud. Other that that he is a pretty good baby. He sleeps from 8 to 8-9 p.m. so I can't complain about that. I am so in the mind set that I am just babysitting for a while so I don't get too attached to the little guy. We haven't heard anything about his mom and when and if she is going to be getting him back. I know my brother wants him back, but we will have to see how he does. Our Christmas was great. We spend x-mas eve at my moms and woke to a houseful of kiddos. ( I did take Derick to see his maternal side of the family that evening) Jack opened a few of his toys and then all the little ones took off not too interested in opening their presents so they could ride their new bikes. After that we headed home so we could do Jack's stocking and presents with him. He still was not too interested in opening gift, but at least did a few. After that we then headed to San Diego to do x-mas with John's side of the family. I was so happy that they all bought stuff for Derick whom they had never met. The next day our friends Claire and Nate stayed over with Chloe and Gus. We were a little wild and stayed up until 4 a.m. playing our new Wii and guitar hero. I was pooped the next day but still trucked on. The Jamie and the kids came over and spent the night after Claire and Nate left. We made another late night of it playing the Wii until 3:30 a.m. Then the next night we played yet again until 1:30 or so. We had friends from Vegas come and stay the next night so it was yet ANOTHER night of beer and Wii until the early morning hours. Alas then it was New Years eve. Who doesn't stay up late that night? So as you can tell it has been a LOOOOONG week and I am exhausted. But we are all doing great, happy, and healthy (well I don't know about me and my party party week, I swear I am not drinking for a few months, lol) Jack is doing fantastic and it also doing pretty well with adjusting to Derick. He has been such a good boy. He got a million toys for x-mas and mass amounts of clothes. Today we just starting planning his b-day party for the 9th of Feb. This year it won't be quite as huge. Only about 45 adults and 16 or so kids. Last year was too crazy, but I had to do the big party for his first. So it will mainly be family and 4 or 5 close family friends. We are going to do the Blue's Clues theme since he LOVES blue. I can't wait. But its hard to believe he is turning 2 in 6 weeks. Alright I will quit babbling now and sorry the pics aren't in order, but I am tired!! Love from us ALL 12/9/07 Ahhh where to begin. We have had so much going on in the past month. John and I went and had a nice weekend in Vegas a few weeks ago. It was a blast. We hadn't been in about a year, which is very odd for us! I have been busy getting all my christmas shopping done. We had everyone over for Thanksgiving, and I cooked again this year. Everything was YUMMY, if I don't say so myself. Jack is doing fantastic and getting so funny all the time. He is talking so much, but only at home! I swear everyone thinks I am making it up because he won't talk in front of anyone else very much, lol. As of a couple months ago, he has been sleeping in his toddler bed. He has been waking up in the middle of the night quite often, so I go get him and put him in our room on his air mattress next to the bed. Well, John and I have been waking up the past few mornings to have him in our bed. The little booger crawls up in the middle of the night. He is so funny and getting so big. I can't believe he will be 2 in just 2 months. Where does the time go? AND FOR THE BIG NEWS, that some of you got emailed to you, John and I are going to be taking in A 6 month old baby boy. His name is Derick Nicholas. He is actually my brothers baby. My brother has been in trouble for quite sometime and will be gone until Aug of next year. His girlfriend was just put in jail 3 weeks ago. That is when I got the call from my brother for help. I told my brother that I will not give Nicholas back to him if he contines to live his life that way he does. I don't want to take anyone's baby from them, but this little one deserves a better life. Social Services came to our home last week to check it out and John and I have been fingerprinted and had our background checks done. I went to court last week and was told by social services that they are pushing for adoption or legal guardianship for whoever gets the baby. The baby has an 18 year old aunt that really wants to take him and have him live with her. I really do think it's wonderful of her to want to do that, but she is so young still and has so much more to do this early in her life. She is not very happy with me, but since her family has a history and so on, I think it's best if the baby is with us. She is a wonderful person and had I been in her situation I would have wanted to do the same thing. We plan on letting them see Derick as often as we like because we don't want to keep him from his family! We should find out something next week as to when and if we get him. I did ask the court for a paternity test just to be sure it is my brother's baby. We went through such heartache with his last supposed baby that turned out not to be his. I really hope that we will have him before Christmas. He is such a cute little guy. I actually just saw him for the first time on Friday when I had an hour visit with him at the Foster agency. I am so excited and yet nervous all at the same time. I was really afraid to even ask Johnny about it. His first reaction was no way. The next day he called me and asked if I had talked to anyone at the CPS office. I told him yes, but that they really couldn't release any info to me because they didn't have any info on us at that point. Well, later that night Johnny told me that he wanted a paternity test done, and if it turned out to be my brothers we had to take him. Family is so important to all of us and we couldn't imagine having a family member of ours out there in the system. But I will let you all know when we find anything else out! I can't wait for you all to see him!! Look for a new updated page hopefully by the end of this week!!! Love The B's 10/30/07 Happy Halloween to everyone!!I have tried to stop by as many sites as possible to wish everyone a great day. I am going to try to stop by several more tomorrow. I am just so tired and need to head off to bed. This weekend we had a great time. We took Jackson to a costume party at The VFW in Yucaipa that his grandpa hangs out at. He won second prize in the costume contest and had a blast! We were gathering up candy and he wasn't too interested until he actually had a piece and then it was all over from there. We really don't give him candy, so when he figured out that it was yummy he wanted to collect all the candy and eat it all, lol. We are having all the kids and family over to go trickor-treating tomorrow as well and have a little party in our garage with everyone and all the neighbors. It shoud be a lot of fun. As you all can see I am getting better at putting pictures up more often, ha ha ha. Please all pray that little Tylie makes it home from the hospital soon. We really want her home to hold her and play with her. I know her daddy wants her home really badly too so he can spend time with her before he has to go away!!! 10/23/07 Well, this weekend went great! I had a surprise baby shower for my sister. She was soooo surprised. It was funny. She really didn't think anyone was doing anything. I told her to come over for a BBQ and that we were going to have it for her hubby Rick since he was home. She got tons of great gifts and soooo many cute clothes, oh yeah and tons of diapers!! We all wanted to go to the pumpkin patch on Sunday, but with all the fires and the wind it was impossible. So we are going to try to go sometime this week when John gets home from work, or next Sunday because we are going to be soo busy on Saturday with a costume Party for Jack and a friends Halloween party that night. I am getting so excited for Jamie's induction Thursday morning. I can't wait. I am going to try to be in the room with her. I was able to be in there for the birth of Ricky and missed the other 2 girls because she was in IL. When Alexis was born the room was already full with moms and Rick. I will try to update her page from the hospital if I can get a signal. Jack is doing great. His new love is Blues Clues. He is constantly saying Hi Joe, or Hi Steve when it comes on and will also say Notebook, when they say we need our Handy Dandy ........ I really was thinking of doing a carnival themed birthday party for him, but I think it is going to have to be Blues Clues. I already starting going online and finding all the blues clues junk I can for Christams. I got a really cute pair of flannel pj's. Man, I always swore my kids wouldn't wear anything cheesy like that, but I know how much he loves him, lol. He is starting to talk more and more and putting words together. He just says little 2-3 word phrases, but is picking up on so much more now. I love it when you tell him to saying something and he makes up his own word, he is sooooo far off sometimes, lol. John and I are great. I had a drs appt yesterday for a post op check up and all is great. She wants me to wait 3-6 months to get prego again, but I told her I couldn't promise anything, ha ha ha. I really want to get prego this month, if it works out. She wanted to put me on birth control, but that was out of the question for me. I will try to put up some pics of this weekend today, but I can't promise anything, lol. Oh yeah, and last week Jack and I had a playdate with Lisa and Cody Bondy, and Jenni and Parker Wharton. The boys had a great time at the park! We are going to try to take the boys to the library soon for some story time!!! I also will put up pics of that. 10/8/07 Hello all! Nothing much going on here. I am feeling pretty good. I am off my pain meds and of course have been up and about for quite sometime. It's still so hard to remember that I am not suppose to pick up Jack for about 4 more weeks, but I just have to sometimes. My incision hurts pretty bad but it's mainly from my pants rubbing on it. It looks like it's going to heal nicely. This past weekend we took Jack to Sea World and he loved it. We stayed for about 6 hours as there is only so much you can do with a 20 month old before he falls asleep, lol. He loved Shamu, the tide pools (he picked up a star fish and threw it so we knew we were done with that part) feeding the dolphins, and looking at the Shark exhibit and the aquariums. I am so gald we finally had a free weekend to take him. He is so much fun and it's so neat to watch the expressions on his face. I can't wait to take him to Disneyland again this year for x-mas and stay in the hotel again for a couple of nights! I think that is basically the news with us. John is doing great and in his last Triathlon came in 49th overall out of around 300+ people. Now, is his downtime until next February when he starts training again for the the Tri's in the spring. I have just been trying to stay busy Christmas shopping and looking for a job. I sooooo want a county of government job for the benefits and retirement, I really don't care how crappy the pay will be to start as long as it will cover childcare. We have been looking into the Montessori School for Jack when and if I do start working. Oh yeah and check out the pics of Chloe Elizabeth Winnett on my pic page. My best friend since 4th grade finally had her little girl on Tuesday October 2nd. I was at the hospital FOREVER waiting for her to arrive. I was so glad that I got the chance to be there. She is so beautiful. John and I stopped by to see her again after our sea world trip and I am in love! Claire was a trooper and did such a great job. She is feeling pretty well and is just trying to catch some z's when Chloe is sleeping. Nate is so proud of his girls! They are going to have the best time with her and be such great parents!!! That's all for now TTFN Love ME 09/20/2007 This is Jamie, Kacey's sister posting for the family many of you have asked what is going on Kacey hasnt been feeling well for a couple days and has been experiencing some pretty unusual pain in her leg and stomach . Yesterday we talked and agreed it was best to ge to the Dr and off she did. Later she called pretty upset and with the struggle for words informed me they were admitting her for emergency surgery her belly was full of blood and they did not know why! Lots of tests were done and some things were ruled out and others just kept poping back up into conversation. All in all after a long day kacey did go into surgery and what was found was so sadening by all of us. First off they were able to figure out what the blood was and as a matter of fact about 440cc's of blood was removed seems as a blood vessel that feeds the uterine area has burst and kacey was bleeding internally as well as a pregnancy which i mentioned as ectopic (Tubal pregnancy) the Dr said she did have a 5 maybe 6 week embryo in there and of corse we all know you cant cary a pregnancy that way. After talking with Dr seems the best thing to do is remove that fallopian tube because in most cases its better than a ectopic reccuring later in the same tube. They went on with surgey and after all was said and done we all found some better news and Kacey would wake up intact and they were able to save her tube. The Dr said she was able to clean it up pretty darn good and both tubes looked beautiful. She could start trying again in a couple months. Kacey is in pretty good spirts and today is home resting from surgery and a long day yesterday she does know its just one of those crazy things that happen and nothing could of been done to prevent it. That precious little egg just did not settle where it was supposed too! I am so glad she did go to the Dr. this was a major life threating emergency and wow sometimes you just need to listen to your body. Kacey is pretty darn strong and has alot of support to help her through this. We al preay for her to heal both body and spirit and the blessings to gain strength to continue being the best mommy she is already. We love you Kacey ! 9/19/08 So the last 3 days I have been having major cramping and bleeding. Old blood, not new blood so that is good. I am so not drama when it comes to being prego, but these crampos are KILLING me. I am doubled over in pain. I had to stop driving yesterday and pull over because the pain was shooting all down my leg. Maybe it was dehydration. So John's dad is actually on his way to take me to the hospital since John won't make it in time. I can't even stand straight up, this is crazy. Jack's pregnancy was sooooo easy that I swore I wasn't even prego, lol. Hopefully it's just my uterus stretching, and I hope it's not hurting this bad so early because there is more than one in there, ha ha ha. 9/14/07 Can you believe it? I still can't. John and I found out on Tues Sept. 11th that we are expecting again. I was going to wait a little longer to post the news due to the last two disappointments we had, but I am just so overjoyed that I had to do it now. I think that I still really don't believe it, lol. I took a test as my sisters on Monday and she called Tues to tell me that she saw a line. I was like, whatever, it's just a evaporation line. So I went while I was on the phone with her and took another test. I went outside to play with Jack and she asked if I had check it yet. I hadn't so I went and looked and there was a faint line, just like the last two times when AF cames just days later. Anyway I went to the store and took a digital and it said PREGNANT!! I took another digital plus 10 more tests the next couple of days and all were positive. I went to the dr yesterday and my first appt is October 11th. My due date will be May 22nd. Obviously we don't care what it is as long as it is healthy, I'd love another boy but that would mean we would have to have a third to try for that girl!!We still have yet to tell John's parents because we are going to put a I'm A big Brother shirt on Jack and see if they pick up on it tomorrow!! So if you are family and you are seeing this then, SHHHHHHHHH. Other than that it makes me happy because I will be foreced to keep this thing updated now, ha ha ha. John, Jack, and I are doing great! We are taking it easy this weekend and hanging out with family and out brother who is coming out from Texas!! Next weekend we have John's triathlon in San Diego which should be fun. Jack is talking more and more everyday and throwing more and more attitude. He was doing so well with potty training, but the last week or so has no interest in it. I figured that would happen since he is still quite young. I will try to put up some recent pics of him today or tomorrow, but I have to go now and clean so I can come home to a nice clean house on Sunday!! Love, love, The B's 8/21/07 No too much new on the Bicondova home front. John and I celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary on the 2nd. We are going to take a trip somewhere next month to celebrate. We just have too much going on this month to head out of town. I am hoping we can go back to AZ for a golfing weekend. John just finished another Tri in Running Springs a couple weeks ago. We spent the weekend up there and had a great time. He is training for his last Tri of the year (The Superfrog) in Sept. in San Diego. That should be a real fun one also. Jack is doing great. He is wearing his big boy undies around the house for several hours a day. He is doing a great job with potty training. I am not pushing him, I am just letting him have fun with it. If it sticks with him I will be SOOOOO excited. He had his 18 month drs appt. on the 17th and is finally gaining some weight. He also got caught up on the last of his shots. He is now 34 inches (85th percentile, I swear he is 36 but his chart in his room could be wrong) And he weighs 24.6 lbs and is now in the 24th percentile for that instead of the 6th, lol. I am doing great. Trying to keep busy as usual. I actually went to a temp agency to see if I can work to get out of the house a couple days a week. We will see how it goes. I am sure when it actually comes down to it I will just want to stay home and be bored, lol. Well, Jack is calling. I am suppose to be reading him a book, woops. Talk to you all soon LOVE ME
