Jan. 8, Ok we had our check up and everything is Great. Funny thing though. I had brought two of my daycare children with. The younger one is "my little guy". Well he was doing great up to the point that I had to lay down and listen to the heart beat. He did not like that one bit. So the Doc. helped put him on my legs and sit with me. When it was time to listen he was in shock. "What was that noise and why is she touching your belly?" I kept telling him that we were listening to the baby in my belly. So then he wold look at his belly. We would laugh. Other than that Alicia measured at 24 full weeks in the belly with a great heart beat. Next check up Feb 5.

Over the CHRISTMAS and NEW YEAR weekends we got to see Drew's side of the family. All were very excited to find out that we broke the odds and are having a girl. Drew's family has 9 boys & 2 girl on moms side and 7 boys & 1 girl on the fathers side. The odds were not on our side there. But I come from a family of 5 girls in my family alone. To many cousins to count. All in all we are just happy that we are having a healthy baby.

12/22/06 Well today for the first time I was woken by her tiny kicking to get my butt out of bed.

12/20/06 This past week we started to play music for her. She is moving even more. I think she likes to dance or just likes music.

On Thanksgiving 2006, Drew was able to feel Alicia move for the first time. Since then he will fall asleep with his hand on my belly.
For our ultrasound, we got to see
her for the first time. We also got to see her stretch, kick, suck on her hand, blow kisses, and wave. She was very active at the time. I could have stayed there all day and watched her.
Auntie Heather felt her move during our family christmas gathering.
