AUGUST 11

 - Hi everyone, thanks for writing in our guest book and for the name suggestions. I am officially eighteen weeks now, the baby's been moving so much, especially after I eat or drink. I've been craving hot tea all the time but I try to limit myself since it has caffeine. I'm going to Motherhood(maternity store) today to get a couple more maternity shirts. I've pretty much grown out of all of my pre-pregnancy clothes. I've already gained sixteen pounds, of course the fact that all I wanted to eat during my first trimester were McDonalds chicken sandwitches may have added to it. I'm going to start doing some pregnancy exercises or yoga to stay in shape. Keep checking in with us there will be new stories and pics added all the time, bye.

Hi, this is the expecting father, Erick. I thought I'd post my own 'stories' to go along with my beautiful wife's stories. I know there isn't a physical change I will be experiencing(like my wife is) but there will be emotional changes(for the better!) as well as many preparations for the eagerly awaited Baby Ferretti that I would like to document. This way me and my wife can look back and remember all of the steps we had to climb to reach our goal...Baby Ferretti. This is my first post and all I'm going to say is, we're at week 18 and everything is looking good. We get to see the baby next week(sonogram) and they may tell us the sex. My wife, Kristen, and I will keep you up to date on Baby Ferretti's develpment everyday, so check back soon!

Well this is my first entry, I just made this home page today so I will be adding pictures soon. I just went to the doctors today and I'm seventeen weeks and five days. I had that triple-screen test(a blood-test to check for any abnormalities early in the pregnancy) done today and I'm a little nervous now. The doctor said she would call me only if something was wrong with the blood-test, but even if she doesn't call(hopefully she wont) I'll call her just to double check. I also found out that I'll be getting my sonogram next week. We've been going back and forth about finding out the sex of the baby but we've decided to find out. It's just too tempting. I can't wait to see who's been kicking me, I've been feeling little movements and kicks for about five days now. This baby is very active. I'll write back soon.
