Stories JULY 1 Hi everyone, What do you think about the website, we changed it alittle and decided to keep posting on it because it is actually alot easier to do it this way than scrapbook and easy is a good thing right now also it is nice to be able to share the girls progress with you all. Everyone is doing great and Abigail will be one month old on the 3rd. Time is just flying by. She is such a sweet baby she hardly cries and is only waking once or twice at night to have her bottle and then going right back to sleep. We are seeing her personallity more and more now, she loves people to talk to her and smile at her and loves to be held too. So alot of times I find myself carring around both of them at once. At least I'll have toned arms. Reagan is still doing good with Abigail and can say baby now and looks for her every morning when we wake up. I'm doing well too I've already lost more than half of my pregnancy weight and I love all the time I get to spend with the girls they are so much fun, alot of work, but well worth it. Abigail is going back to the doctors July 10th for her 5 week check up. Hopefully she gained some more weight because last time at her 2 week check she was only at her birth weight since she had droped a few ounces. But that is perfectly normal for a newborn. Well gotta go for now but I'll keep checking in and posting lots and lots of new pictures. The next ones of Abigail might be her holding her head up, she's been trying to do that already and seems pretty determined.
HAPPY FATHERS DAY Erick and dad and all the daddys. I'm glad to be spending the day with my husband and also a wonderful dad to our little girls. We are also going to visit Grandpa today and since it's going to be really hot Reagan will get to play with her new Dora sprinkler. Well the family has been doing well these past couple of weeks adjusting to little Abigails arrival. She makes it easy because she is such a good baby. She rarely cries except when shes hungrey(she lets you know) And she is starting to stay awake for longer periods of time she likes to sit there quitley and look around. She also loves being in her vibrating chair just like Reagan did. And Reagan is doing very well with Abigail she loves to look at her and she tries to touch but she still doesn't understand that she has to be gentle but shes learning. I think she will be a great big sister and teach Abigail alot as they get older. Abigail is going for her two week check up on Tuesday the 19th . Next month we will be at the doctors pretty much every week between the three of us. I'll continue to keep everyone posted and I'll take lots of picture today of Daddy and his girls and post them later tonight. Bye.
Hi I'm backI have alittle time now so I wanted to tell everyone who hasn't heard about what happened the day Abigail was born. I started having false labor Monday so I knew it was getting close but it wasn't untill very early Tuesday morning,around 3:00am that I had to go to the hospital and I was 4cm dilated when I got there. That is the beginning of active labor so I was admited right away. We sat aroud for awhile and every hour or so I was checked and I wasn't progressing past 4cm. Finally the docter started to get worried and said I might need to have a c section if I didn't make some progress soon but the next time she checked me some how I was already at 10 cm and ready to push so after about a half hour of pushing Abigail made her way into the world. She is a very content and laid back baby also very alert. She really has only been crying when shes hungry. She's been sleeping alot of course but when she is awake she likes to look right at you. We love our little girls so much and I'm so happy to them both here now. I'll check back again soon.
Shes here!!!!! Abigail Rose Ferretti was born on June 5th at 3:28 pm and weighed 6lbs 14 oz. I put some picture up already and I'll write a longer story later and put more pictures too. I'm alittle busy now as you can imagine, but I'm very happy to have Abigaail here with us and she is a wonderful baby and Reagan already loves her baby sis. I'll write back real soon. Bye
Hi everyone I know it's been awhile but we've been pretty busy lately but everyone is doing great. Reagan is becoming a very curious, smart and loving toddler and Erick has been working hard at his new job and also helping me out alot since I've slowed down quite a bit now as I'm sure you can imagine. I'm so ready for Abigail to get here I've been pretty uncomfortable these past few weeks and I'm still having contractions and also lower back pain. I've been so tired too that I take a nap when Reagan takes hers. I guess I should enjoy the rest while I can. I've been going to the doctors every week and Abigail is looking great every time and last time they said I was dialated 1 cm. so hopefully it wouln't be to much longer. I go to my next appointment June 6th if I make it that far. I already have my hospital bags packed and sitting by my bed and we stocked up on everything we'll need after we bring Abigail home like diapers for both babys and Reagans favorite easy to prepare foods and baby shampoo and basically anything else you could think of, I've been alittle obsessive about it. But with everything thats been going on we've still been doing lots of fun things with Reagan she loves to help mommy water the plant outside and play in her sandbox and her newest trick is climbing on anything and everything she can she is at that age where she wants to explore everything. Which is great but I have to keep a very close eye on her. I hope she is excited to be a big sister I think she'll take to it well. I will put some new picture on later today I have some in my camera from the past couple of weeks. And I will be sure to let everyone know whats going on with baby Abigail. My guess is that she'll come before my next doctors appointment but we'll see. Bye.
Happy Mother's Day to all the other mommys. I want to thank my family for making my mothers day extra special. I got my hair done and was treated to breakfast and dinner. No cooking for me today! Most importantly I got to be with Reagan all day and I do mean all day with all the excitement she wouldn't take her nap. Hope everyone enjoyed the new pictures, they are all from this past week and the park that some of the pictures were taken at is the one in our neighborhood and it's literally one minute from us, and we always have it all to ourselves during the day. Reagan has a great time there. Well tommorow will be 36 weeks for me and I can't tell you how ready i am to just have this baby I have been feeling very sore and tired latley and also did I mention huge! I can't wait to have my body back. I think she might come early because I've been having Braxton Hicks contractions pretty much every day for the last week or so and they are pretty strong ones and when I saw the doctor last week she said the babys head was down very low and she was in position. I wasn't dialated yet but I go back to the doctors on Wenesday so we'll see how things look then. Gotta go I'll check in soon.
Hi everyone,I know it's been a while but everyone is doing great, we have just been very busy. I have been getting everything ready for baby Abigail's big arrival and me and Reagan have been outside playing pretty much everyday. She got a new sand box to play in and she loves to bouce her big ball out on the deck. Pretty much everyday when Reagan takes her naps I've been out in the garden working. I'll have to post some pictures for everyone to see. Reagan is being very good about staying away from the plants too she is starting to really follow direction when she is told no (most of the time anyway). She is really amazing me everyday with all the new things she is learning and shes also been sleeping through the night every night and soothing herself back to sleep if she does wake up (knock on wood). Everything is also going very smoothly with my pregnancy. I still have lots of energy. Of course I have to to keep up with Reagan. I go to the doctors again next Tuesday the 8th and after that my appointments will be weekly. I can't wait to hold my two little girls together and for Reagan to meet her sister. I'm hoping she likes having another baby around. I think she will. Went to the zoo the other day with my friend Angie and her 7 month old Lexie (As you can see from the pictures) and Reagan loved Lexie so much she kept smiling at her and talking to her in baby talk and she was in a great mood all day with her. She sure is a friendly little girl. Well, I decided that after Abigail is born I will continue to update everyone on the girl's progress through email every week or so instead of the web site so everyone who would like to get email updates just send me your email address to WORKER_79@COMCAST.NET
I feel that will be easier for me considering I'm also trying to finish Reagan's scrapbook and start Abigails. I will have my hand full! Also just wanted to wish Marcia and GP a Happy Belated Birthday. And I will be back soon with new pictures of Reagan playing outside and hanging out in the pool when we get another real hot day. We had a great time at Nanas. Reagan was running around laughing all day! Another great Easter together. Next year Reagan will have a little sister to play with. Well bye for now.
HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE! As you can see we've had a busy morning already checking out what the Easter bunny brought and dying eggs. Later we are going to go have diner with Nana and Aunt Holly and Reagan is going to wear her pretty Easter dress. Is everyone enjoying the couple nice days we've had? We sure are we've had alot to do lately on Sunday Reagan visited with the Easter bunny again and once again really enjoyed it and yesterday we had lunch with Grandpa at Chik Fil A and this morning we went to Annies playground again which Reagan loved(especially the slide). We have our hayride planned for this Friday so hopefully it wouln't be to cold. Reagan will get to ride with the Easter bunny and see the petting zoo. So now that it's April I feel like it's getting very close to Abigail finally getting here and I'm getting very impatiant. I can't wait to see what Reagan thinks of her and how things will be with two babys and how much my routine will change( if I can even keep a routine). And I can't wait to be my regular size again. My belly is starting to really limit what I can do especially keeping up with Reagan. Well gotta go get some stuff done while Reagan naps I'll post some new pictures tonight. Bye.
I went to the doctors yesterday and everything looks great Abigail is growing nice and big. The doctor even got to feel how active she is, when she was getting the heartbeat Abigail kicked her really hard. She is getting very strong and it's reminding me of how Reagan was when I was pregnant with her. I also gained another 5 pounds which is fine since I didn't gain alot in the begining but I don't want to get too huge I already feel enormous and I still have 10 weeks to go and the time is really draging now.Well anyway after the doctors me and Reagan went to Annie's playground to take advantage of the summer like weather we had and as usual she was very good for mommy and had a wonderful time. Her favorite part was picking up the rubber mulch and putting it on the benches. What a silly girl.
We went to see the Easter Bunny today and Reagan just loved him she was smiling at him and waving. She did a great job and she wasn't even the least bit afraid. The pictures we got turned out perfect. She is such a good girl and she just keeps amazing us with all of the new skills shes picking up. Latley talking is her favorite thing to do. When I say talking I mean Reagan talk. You can't understand it yet but she respones when you talk to her and is saying acouple things I can make out like bye bye, cheese,and crackers. Well gotta go enjoy the new pictures of our little cutie and keep checking in now that the weather is getting nicer I'll be taking lots of pictures of Reagan outside having fun. Bye.
Hi everyone, Today is the first full day of spring although you wouldn't know it by going outside. I think it's only going to be in the low 50's if even that. But the weather is getting warmer and we can't wait. As you can see from our pictures at the park Reagan loves being outside. We were hoping to go to the zoo either this Friday of Sunday depending on the weather. Daddy started back to work today and on this job he has Fridays off which works out good. I like to do things during the week when it's not as crowded. We have alot of fun stuff planned for the next couple of weeks while the weathers mild and Mommy isn't to huge yet. Like April 6th we are going on an Easter hayride and to get pictures with the Easter bunny( I'm intrested to see what Reagan thinks of him). We've been going to the library storytime alot and we met up with some moms from the moms club last week and Reagan has really surprized me with how outgoing she is she just loves being with the other babys and has even learned to share. She hands over every toy she picks up even her own pacifire. What a loving girl I only hope she loves her baby sister that much. She will be here very soon! My pregnancy is still going smoothly I go to the doctor again on the 27th and Abigail is really getting big I can now feel arms and legs moving all of the time. My back is bothering me alittle mainly because I've been carrying Reagan around alot. She comes up to me all through the day and holds her hands up for me to hold her and starts crying if I don't. I don't give in everytime but she is still a baby herself so I don't want to deny her, it's probably just a phase or maybe she sences Abigail is coming.
I went to the doctors today and had my glucose test done. Everything went well the doctor said I'm measuring just where I should be and I gained 5 pounds. The drink I had actually tasted pretty good but I felt alittle dizzy after awhile since all I could eat in the morning was some toast which I ate early anyway since Reagan woke up at about 5:00. She's getting some more teeth in so she hasn't been sleeping as well. So I'm been very tired for the past couple of days. Today in the doctors office I ran into a friend of a friend that was also getting her glucose test done and turns out shes due two days after me which makes her about the fourth person I know whos having a baby right around the time I am. Looks like there will be a bit of a baby boom in June. Can't wait. Oh yah my next doctors appointment is March 27th I've moved up to every three weeks now.
We went to the library today and Reagan was very good during story time and she sat on my lap the whole time and giggled at the songs we were singing, she also shared a ball with the little boy that was sitting next to us. I was so proud of her. We also went to stride rite shoe store today and used the rest of the gift card that Grandpa got Reagan for Christmas. She got a new pair of comfy tennis shoes and some sandels in a slightly bigger size so they'll be perfect for summer. We met another little girl in the she store that was also named Reagan and the two Reagans played together for awhile and the girls working at the store unofficially named the shoe we bought today THE REAGAN because the other little girl got them too. As you can see by my new belly shot I'm certainly looking pregnant now and I'm still feeling good and getting more and more excited to have the newest addition to our family join us.
Hello again, so how adorable is Reagan in the new pictures, she was having so much fun outside. I can't wait untill the weather gets warm. Only 18 more days before spring gets here! It will be alot of fun this year taking Reagan to the park and out in the backyard to play. She is so curious and brave. We went out to the bookstore today and I let Reagan hold my hand and walk and she stayed right beside me and was very good about not running off. My hope is that by the time Abigail gets here Reagan will be at least able to walk with me and hold my hand if I have to run in somewhere real quick and I can put Abigail in the baby sling. But I don't have too many expectations I'll just see how things go when the time comes. Reagan got to visit with Grandmom and Grandpa Ferretti tonight also, she had alot of fun running around and showing them all of the new things she can do. Well I'll check back soon me and Abigail need to go to bed now. It's been a busy day. Bye.
Hi everyone we got our internet back today which is very good news for us. I didn't realize how much we actually used it untill it was gone. We've been keeping very busy with Reagan lately, she is always on the go and she's getting so very smart her newest skills include jumping when you say jump and dancing if she hears some good music she has also learned how to climb up onto the sofas which really scares me because she doesn't understand that she can get hurt if she falls since we always catch her when she starts to fall off. She is also starting to act more like a toddler as far as throwing tantrums if she doesn't get her way and she doesn't forget a thing. But I'm so excited everyday to see what new things she will do. She's actually starting to say acouple of words now like mom(not just ma ma anymore) and bye bye, clap, jump and she even said peacheys the other day, thats what we call peaches,they are her favorite she can eat a whole jar all by herself. Baby abigail is also doing great she is kicking so hard now and she seems to be most active at night time although anytime after I eat I also feel her moving alot. I go to the doctors next Wednesday for my glucose test and then I think my appointments will be every two weeks. I will be starting my third trimester soon and I'm still feeling very good but I am getting tired again and my back is starting to hurt also I've been craving chocolate all the time. I try not to give in but it doesn't help that the Easter candy is out already and those Mary Sue easter eggs are so so good. Well gotta go I'll put on more pictures soon. Bye.
FEBRUARY 14HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE!!! Since we're all snowed in today the family is just going to hang out around the house all day, which will be nice I get to spend the whole day with my two Valentines. Also Happy Birthday Grandpa Ferretti! Love, The Ferretti Family
Hello everyone, Is everyone ready for the big snow storm that they say is coming our way? Me and Reagan decided to go out for alittle while this morning since it was pretty nice out today. We went to the library for baby story time. Reagan had alot of fun running around with the other babys but when it came time to sit down she wasn't having that at all. She was definetly the most active baby in the group. Maybe if we start going every week again she will learn to sit better. Acouple of the other moms said to me ,"you really have your hands full". And yes I do but I'm glad my little girl is so social and friendly and that she always has a big smile on her face. I think she will be a very good big sister. I really can't wait for the new baby to get here. I want to see what she'll look like and if she'll be the same as Reagan was as a newborn. Speaking of the baby we actually both agreed on another name we like....Abigail. What does everyone think? I still really like Madelyn and Emma but I can't get Erick to agree. Oh we also want to thank Great Grandmom Ferretti for stoping by today to visit and to give Reagan her Birthday gifts. Well I'll check in soon and I'll be sure to take pictures of Reagan in her Valentines outfit. This the first holiday that Reagan will be celebrating for the second time. She was so little last Valentines day, but I still remember it fondly. She makes every holiday extra special! Bye.
Hi again, so we ventured out into the cold today to go to my doctors appointment and everything is looking good, the baby is growing nice and big she even kicked the doctor acouple times when she was getting the heartbeat. I gained 6 pounds this month but I'm still on track with where I want to be although I was alittle irratated that I gained so much since I have been eating healthy and not splurging nearly as much as I've wanted to. But I think the baby has really bulked up these past couple weeks. People are coming up to me now and asking when I'm due. This pregnancy is just so pleasant I still feel good and I've been so active I think I might be nesting already too since Ive been obssessed with cleaning and organizing the whole house. The past couple of days I have been pretty tired though because Reagan for one reason or another has not been sleeping very well. She'll fall asleep on her own but in the middle of the night she's been waking up and refusing to go back to sleep or let me leave the room. I sat next to her crib last night for about 20 minutes and thought she was finally asleep but as soon as I tried to walk away she started screaming so eventually I had to bring her into our bed and then she was out like a light. But I was hanging off of the bed and every noise she would make woke me up so I hope she gets back on track with sleeping before the new baby comes or I will be a very sleep deprived mommy. About the baby name situation we're still not set on anything yet I do like Cadence but I'm not sure yet. I also like Hannah and Madison but Erick doesn't like them. What does everyone think of Lillian or Sofia? Well I'll check in later I want to look though some of Reagan's old baby clothes before she gets up. bye.
