Stories November 20th... Hi everyone, it's Reagan's daddy here, I thought I'd post my view of Reagan's growth. Every day Reagan seems to look like she understands more and is aware of her surroundings. And she still has a big smile all the time! Climbing steps is a favorite thing for Reagan to do. She always runs straight for them and starts up them with no problem. She only stops to check and see if mommy or daddy is there watching her. She can't walk yet, though she has taken a step and then fallen down, she's mastered crawling...at high speeds too! I've had plenty of (unwanted) time off from work and I really need to get back (I'm trying)...But, I do enjoy seeing my beautiful baby girl every morning and seeing her enjoying herself throughout the day. I know I'll think back at these hard times with only the good times remembered. Well, mommy is taking Reagan to get some pictures taken tomorrow and I've got to try and keep busy without my little girl & beautiful wife. I'll try to keep posting more stories about Reagan's growth and of some of the new things she learns, bye!
Hi everyone just wanted to brag alittle bit about how very smart my girl is getting, she is just so aware of everything lately. Like when I leave a room and say come on with me Reagan she follows right behind me and when she hears the water running in the kitchen she assumes a bottle is being prepared. Now when she wants me to pick her up she crawls over to me and pulls herself up with my pant leg and stands all by herself with her arms up in the air. She even gets an attitude if I tell her no to something she says no right back to me in an angry voice. It's so funny. In a couple of years it might not be but I can't help but laugh hearing that little voice yell no. Well tommorrow we will be getting Reagans Christmas pictures done. I had to change the day since last Thursday was to rainy. I hope she does a good job again. Remember to check in after Thanksgiving for all of Reagans first Thanksgiving pictures. I will be taking alot. Bye.
Hello I know it's about time for another Reagan update. Reagan is really quite a handful she is getting into everything. Shes not walking on her own just yet but she will be very soon. She is standing by herself for acouple minutes at a time and walking when she has something to hold on to. Reagan is getting so big shes been eating alot of new big girl foods which she really loves especially cheese pieces, spagetti, fruit pieces and mashed sweet potatos. She likes to feed herself too. Last night I made chicken, potatos and peas and everytime I tried to put the food in Reagans mouth she spit it out and picked it back up herself. She is really playing with toys more now too of course her favorite things are the things shes not suppose to have but when she does decide to play with her toys she getting the hang of pulling strings to make the toy work or pushing the right button. She is just so smart and adorable, I have to try to get a picture of her with her mouth opened, she has 6 teeth now. The four front ones came in. I will put some picture on later today when Erick gets home so he can help me. I'll definetly check back sooner next time and keep putting on cute new pictures of our favorite little girl. I've just been so busy latley for those of you that had'nt heard we are selling our house and looking at new ones. On top of that getting ready for the holidays that we be here before we know it. I think I might call and make an appointment today to get Reagans Christmas pictures done, I still need to get a dress for her to I haven't seen any really cute ones yet. Well i gotta go now. Hello everyone as you can see from the new photos we went to the halloween party today and had a great time. All of the babys looked so cute and we really had alot of fun. She even got a halloween present ( a little soft ball with pumpkins and ghosts on it). She is really into balls right now. She likes it when I roll them to her or throw them across the room, She'll go crawling after it. Yesterday we went to visit my friend Angie and her new baby. She was so little! I can't believe that Reagan was that size not to long ago. Reagan really didn't show to much interest in the baby I guess she thought she was a doll. Tommorrow we are going to a halloween themed baby shower. So maybe we'll get some more use out of Reagans halloween costume. I'm still not sure what we will actually do on halloween but we'll probably just hand out candy at home. Well gotta go I'll check in soon.Bye.
Hi everyone good news, Reagan is feeling much better as I'm sure you can tell from the new pictures. She is back to her normal smiley and happy self. We went to gym class today, hope everyone enjoys the new pictures. Reagan had a great time again. She was being a little flirt chasing around all the boys. Next Friday there will be a halloween party at Reagans gym so she can dress up in her pretty flower costume. That will be so cute, all the little babys dressed up. I will be sure to get some pictures. Gotta go. Bye.
Hi I'm glad everyone got there pictures. Sorry I've been slacking with putting pictures on the website. I'll try to get some today of Reagan eating her big girl food. We went to the doctors yesterday and that was one of the things I was told to do, start feeding Reagan pretty much whatever we eat just cut up in tiny little pieces. Yesterday she had cut up chicken and cheese for lunch and spagetti for diner and she just couldn't get enough. She was feeding herself too. She is pretty independent, everytime I tried to feed her with the baby fork she stuck her tongue out and grabed the food herself. Well anyway that was the good part of our day yesterday the not so good part was the fact that Reagan still had a cold, it started this weekend and shes been very congested and coughing alot too. No fever though. Well anyway at the doctors yesterday we found out that Reagan also has an ear infection. The doctor said sometimes there are no symtoms at all for an ear infection and Reagan has been in such a good mood(like always) even with her cold so we had no idea. I'm glad we had that doctors appointment or I might not have known until it got worse. Well shes taking her medicine and we've been relaxing around the house so I hope by the end of the week shes all better. But like I said, she really isn't acting very different then she usaully does. Shes just been alittle more easily upsetable and very, very resistant when I try to give her her medicine. She also wants mommy to hold her all day which I am more than happy to do. It's so cute she crawls over to me saying ma ma ma ma.I guess she knows that ma ma means me. But on a happier note Reagan has been standing all by her self for acouple of seconds without holding on to anything. I predict that by Thanksgiving she'll be walking. Gotta go now the little one calls. I'll put pictures on soon. Bye.
Hi again just wanted to let everyone know that Reagans Halloween cards are being sent out tommorrow, so be on the look out for yours. Like the new pictures of Reagan in her Halloween shirt? We had a playdate today with my moms club and the theme was understandably Halloween.Also today at the moms club we met one of our neighbors that also has a little girl so we're going to get together for some playdates. Im so proud of myself this year I've already got a closet full of wraped christmas presents. Most of which are for Reagan but at least I got an early start. Well gotta go I'll be back soon. Hi everyone, Reagan's Baptism went very well she was a very good girl. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend it was a very special day that we will always remember.Sorry it took so long to get the pictures on here but we've been pretty busy. I was alittle diappointed that I didn't get more pictures of us at the house afterwards or of Reagan with everyone but there was so much going on that day that there wasn't any time.But we did get the whole ceremony recorded. Like I said we have been pretty busy this week, I've started alittle Christmas shopping which has been really fun getting stuff for Reagan. We've also been going to Gymboree two days a week, and we went out with Racheal, Julian and Makayla yesterday,Reagan always has alot of fun with them. The biggest Reagan news this week is that she is starting to eat more solid foods like cut up fruit, vegetables, pancakes and toasted wheat bread. I'm going to check with the doctor about other new things she can try. We go on the 17th for Reagans 9 month check up. Well gotta go it's Reagans bath time. Bye.
Today is our two year annivesary! Those two years have gone by so fast! I keep thinking of what we were doing this time two years ago and what we might be doing two years from now. Time seems to go by faster and faster the older you get.Well anyway to celebrate we are going out to diner and a movie tonight. This will be one of the very few times we've been out alone since Reagan was born. But I'm sure she wouln't mind a bit she gets to spend some time with Nana. She loves being with her Grandmoms so much that she doesn't even notice when I leave.It's been another busy week for me, I've been getting everything ready for Reagans baptism on Sunday. And squeezing in painting and refinishing acouple pieces of furniture when Reagan takes naps. Oh and did I forget to mention baking, I'm making cupcakes today and cookies later in the week for the Baptism. I guess I just wouldn't be satisfied unless I have a million things to do.Reagans been a very good girl as usual. But the best word to describe her lately is curious. That little girl is into everything and anything except ironically her toys. And shes to the point now that when you try to take something away from her she objects big time. But she is still easily distracted if you give her something else to play with. Well I gotta go for now. Bye. Happy annivesary Erick!
Happy first day of fall everyone. I'm so glad it's finally here. I love this time of the year and we have some fun things coming up. Like hayrides and halloween, not that Reagan is trick or treating but she will be getting dressed up. So did everyone like the new pictures? I had halloween cards made up with Reagan in her costume.Something very exciting happened today, reagan said ma ma for the first time. She has been learning alot of new sounds lately like da( her favorite thing to say is da da) and na and ka. She is picking new ones up everyday. Such a smart little girl. Well this past week Reagan had her first case of the sniffles. Which really didn't seem to effect her to much except for at night. She was having trouble sleeping and would just stand up in her crib and cry and refuse to lay back down. Last night I brought her into the bathroom with the shower water running hot and rocked her while the stream cleared her head. It seemed to do the trick because after almost two hours of not sleeping she was out after that. She seemed to be feeling alot better today, her nose wasn't running anymore. So hopefully her cold is gone. She also has a new tooth coming in, on the top this time. So shes been putting everything she can find in her mouth. Well I gotta go . Check back soon for more about Reagan and more cute pictures.I plan to take some of her at her baby gym next week. Those should be good because she is all smiles from the minute we go in there. She is actually known as the happy baby in class. People can't get over how happy she is. Thats our girl! bye.
Happy eight months Reagan! She is getting so big! Well I got the pictures back yesterday and they were so good. I went ahead and made an appointment to have her halloween pictures taken this Sunday. I figured that way I'll have them back by halloween. I also got Reagans christining dress while I was at the mall. It's so cute, Reagan is going to look like a little angel. Actually Reagan made out pretty good at the mall yesterday besides the dress she also got acouple new long sleeved shirts, a pair of pants, a sweater and a hat from Gymboree. There was a sale and they just have the cutest stuff. I'll take some picture of her in it today. She'll be wearing it to her gym class which by the way she just loves, she smiles the whole time. And at her last class she was flirting with a little eight month old boy that we were sitting next to. She seems to be quit fond of little boys as you can see from the latest pictures of her and Julian. Any way like I was saying before about how well Reagan made out at the mall. I also preordered her a copy of the little mermaid (which is being rereleased next month). And next week the new tickle me elmo comes out so I gotta get that too. I've got some big news today! Reagan said "BaBa"!!!!! And she keeps saying it all of the time now. Shes also starting to make other sounds now too, like ma and goo and ah. Were still waiting for mama and dada but we are so proud of our girl. She is just so smart. She had alot of fun at Gymboree last week too. She loved the other babys. We will be going to classes Wendsday and Friday mornings. I think the classes will be really good for Reagan. So everyone liked the pictures, huh, told you they were good. I've ordered plenty so if anyone wants I certain picture just let me know. I go and pick them up on Thursday and while I'm there at the mall I'll be getting Reagan her christening dress and booties.Sorry Grandmom but the ones that you got her are too small now. I waited alittle longer than planned. We go back to the picture place next month to get Halloween pictures done. I'm sure they'll be adorable. Reagans a natural. I'll check in soon.
Hello, so we went to the library today for baby story time and Reagan was once again a perfect angel and very social with all of the other babys. She was crawling right over to them and laughing and trying to grab at all of the toys that were laying around. She was also a very good girl at Grandmom and Grandpops house on Labor day. She gets so excited to be around family and friends. She certainly knows who is who now. We've been pretty busy lately and we have another busy weekend ahead of us. Friday we go to our first Gymboree class and then on Saterday we are going to a circus/benefit that will have a petting zoo(Reagan should have fun getting to see all of the animals so close up). And then on Sunday a topiary garden by our house is having a childrens day so I think we'll probably check that out. Actually the next couple of weeks we have alot going on. We have been preparing for Reagans baptism next month and in addition to the baby gym we,re going to a mommy and me class that consists of moms in the area getting together for playgroups, park trips and lots of other fun stuff. Reagan is growing so fast. She is getting to be an expert at standing and even walking alittle if you hold her hands .She's also eating more and more solid foods among her favorites are crackers, Gerbers friut puffs, cheerios and melba toast.Well gotta go for now but keep checking in on our little angel and as soon as I get her professional portraits back I will put them on the site. Hello we went to get Reagans pictures done yesterday and she did a wonderful job. She was all smiles and we got some wonderful pictures. I also decided to join the picture club so now we'll recieve special offers and have no sitting fees. I will be putting the pictures online within the next couple of days. I have to wait for them to be emailed to me first. I'm going to go back again for halloween and get some pictures of Reagan in her cotume. We went to the library today and took out some board books for me and Reagan to read well for me to read and for Reagan to try to rip out of my hand. Thats why I got board books. Next Tuesday the library will be having a childrens story time just for infants that we are going to go to. It sounds like alot of fun they dim the lights and have music and colorful scarfs to go along with the storys . They have a story hour every Tuesday so if Reagan likes it we will make it a weekly thing.Also next Thursday we will be going to a preveiw Gymboree class I can't wait for that I think Reagan will have fun with all the other babys. The class is specifically for 6 to 10 month old babys. Well gotta go as I was writing this story Reagan fell asleep in my arms so gotta get her to bed. I predicted right about Reagans tooth coming in because when she woke up today there it was, another shiny white tooth right next to the first one. Also I decided to make an appointment at JCpenney for Monday so that Reagan can get some new pictures taken. They have some really cute backgrounds and props there and the pricing is very reasonable. I can't wait. Now the question is do I go bye a new outfit? I'll check back soon. Bye.
AUGUST 23 Hi, Well Reagan is teething again. There was a very short amount of time after the last tooth broke through that she stoped but she is definetly working on another tooth now. She may just have a whole mouth full by her first birthday.Actually I got a email about first birthdays today from the babycenter website that I belong to and it got me thinking about Reagans first birthday and that it will be here before I know it. So this prompted me to print out all of the pictures of Reagan that were on files on the computer and to really start working on the scrapbook that I started for her and I do have alot of work to do. I've only completed about four pages and I want to make sure I have plenty of pictures of every moment. OK I'll check back soon. Did everyone get a glimpse of Reagans new tooth. It's just to cute.
Hi thought it was time to let everyone in on what our precious little girl has been up to. It seems like she picks up and masters a new skill everyday. Like I mentioned before she is crawling very well now. She goes all the way across the floor without even taking a pause and she stands up against everything that she can find. She is also starting to creep now, like if I put a toy that she wants on one side of the coffee table and she is on the other she is now able to get over to it. SO SMART! Suprisingly she hasn't said Ma Ma or Da Da yet she certainly hears it enough, me and Erick are always saying it to her. I started to get her some fall clothes already she's still in size 6-9 clothes as of now but it really depends how it's cut, since Reagan is long she needs some 12 month stuff already. I can't believe how fast the time is going by. I feel very lucky to be able to stay home with her and watch her grow. I'm thinking it might be time to get another professional picture taken of her even though I will be getting a Christmas one done. I think it will be cute to get one of her sitting up like a big girl and flashing her new shiny white tooth, she's getting alittle more hair too ( not much but alittle) I can't wait to put little clips and pigtails in her hair. I did get her acouple new hats for fall. I actually have more fun buying clothes for her now than for me (you should see her closet). Hello, boy has Reagan learned alot since my last story. Well for starters she is a great crawler now and is crawling all over the house. We had to put up a ton of baby gates since we do have a four story house. Ok and the newest thing that Reagan has added to her ever growing list of skills is standing , she always has had strong little legs and has been able to balance on them but the past couple days she has been crawling over to a toy or pillow and putting her hands on it and standing up with her back legs straight. How amazing is our little girl. She is also becoming more and more social. Last Friday we went over Aunt Racheals house and Reagan got to play with Julian (he's almost five) and Makayla (almost 3) and she had so much fun crawling over to them and squeeling at them. She loves other kids. Today we are going to a baby shower for a friend of mine. I think Reagan will have a good time meeting everyone as long as mommy stays in her sight the whole time. She likes to make sure I'm close by, which of course I always am. Oh yeah I just remembered another new Reagan development, she has her very first tooth coming in, it's not completly here yet but its more visable everyday. I give it a couple more days. Gotta go I'll put pictures on later tonight. Bye.
Hi Thanks everyone for the happy birthday wishes and gifts. I had a great day. The rain forest cafe is such a fun place, there is so much going on there. Reagan had alot to look at. She seemed to be pretty fond of the gorillas and elephants. As usual she was a very good girl.Well I gotta go I need my rest I'm getting to be an old lady. Five more years untill you know what. JULY 24 Hello again as you can see from the new pictures the family went to the playground today and this was not just any playground, it was the biggest playground I've ever seen in my life and luckey for us it's only about 10 minutes from our house. Reagan had a good time on the swings and watching all of the other kids running around. Did everyone notice that I added chicken to the ever growing list of foods Reagan has tryed and she really loved it. She is now eating baby food three times a day breakfast, lunch and dinner and shes taken to it quite well. She also still takes about four bottles a day. She is a very good eater. I guess she needs all of the energy she can get for all the crawling that shes been doing. She crawled all the way across the room last night for the first time. Guess what she was trying to get... a magazine. That is her new favorite thing to grab for, any kind of paper product. She likes to crinkle it. But I have to keep that kind of stuff out of her hands because it will ultimately end up in her mouth. Well gotta go but check in tommorow, we are going to The Rainforrest Cafe for diner to celebrate my 25th birthday and I think Reagan will get a kick out of all the big animals. See thats when you know your a mom when your always thinking about what will make your child happy and therefore you'll be happy too.
