December 2009 Texas:
Why would Mother Nature be so cruel? It snowed in Texas this morning.
Wisconsin has not even had their first snowfall yet, but Texas did.
That's just mean!
Tommy is fantastic is keeping up his A/B's grades.
The kid is HAPPY ALL THE TIME! He never has a bad at
school and is truly the best big brother ever!
Jack has changed so much even in just the last couple weeks.
He has a tough guy voice that he uses when he thinks he's cool;
and he also has the sweet Mama's boy voice when he wants something.
He is a very good boy and is constantly has me & Tommy laughing
our butts off! Christmas is just around the corner and the boys
will be jetting off to Wisconsin to hang out with their Dad's and
other family. I will join them at CHristmas, and cant wait to see
everyone! Our family has quickly gone from 4 to 3 and now to 7.
With the Cotropia's living a mere mile away, we have truly become
a much closer family and these kids adore each other! I could no
have asked for that to work out any better! We affectionatly call
ourselves the ForsTropOlsZenga's. I know. I'm funny.
Happy Holidays!!!

MICKEY MOUSE HOUSE
We just got back from a super fun vacation in Florida! We visited Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, as well as Disney and even spent a day at the beach with Grandma Pat and Grandpa Bob. It was a great trip!
Tommy had the most fun on the rides at Islands of Adventure, and Jack had the best time visiting Mickey and Minnie at 'Mickey Mouse House'.
I will post pics over the next few days.
Tommy had a great birthday! Thank you everyone for the birthday calls, emails, messages, etc. He is very loved! xoxo
My baby is 10! So hard to wrap my head around that.
The love of my life! Everything changed the second I knew he existed. I always kinda knew he was a boy too. Every day I see Tommy's face I am amazed at how much he changes and matures. It all goes so fast, and I often find that I have not taken the time to appreciate some of the best moments until it's too late. He's the most loving son and big brother anyone could possibly ask for.
I love you Tommy!
Love,
Mommy
Comments I just realized that I updated this site on Feb 11th, which was also my due date with Tommy. I was very late. -

Happy New Year! Ok, so I am a little late. I can't find where I saved my Christmas pictures, so we're skipping those. The boys are doing great. They both love to play in the snow when it is not 20 below! Jack loved sledding and did not get tired at all of climbing back up the hill. Mom & Dad had to drag them away b/c we were exhausted!
That's about it, other than the typical cabin fever that comes along with this time of year and living in Wisconsin!
Big Boy Beds!!!
We moved Jack into a big boy bed this weekend. He is doing very well with it except at naptime. He keeps asking to sleep in my bed. Huh...
I decided to switch furniture between the kids for the time being. Jack's crib converts to a bed, but it's a full size bed and higher off the ground than Tommy's bed. Tommy has a twin bed that was VERY low to the ground. You couldn't fit anything under the wood frame, it was so low (you can see in the pics). Tommy did not have a dresser, so his clothes were folded on the shelves of his closet. So, it really just made sense (for now) to switch the furniture so Tommy can use the dresser and bigger bed and Jack gets the bed that is really low to the ground during this learning period, and until we move and can buy Tommy new furniture. Tommy knows he is ony borrowing Jack's stuff until we move, but I'm pretty sure he's going to get used to the full size bed and want to get another. Tommy still thinks he wants to share a room with Jack when we move, so they can have "one big playroom". We'll see.
We're shopping our hearts our and I will be wrapping all next weekend. 10 more days, as of today! Jack & Tommy also went to see Santa this weekend and you can check the pictures section for the picture. Jack was pretty nervous and say like a statue the whole time. He did manage to tell Santa what he wanted though. Balloons for Jack and a bucket of Lego's for Tommy.
THE SNOW IS FALLING! THE SNOW IS FALLING!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Happy Birthday to my little baby, JackJack, who turns TWO on Friday the 28th. I pray we're already in the terrible two's and he is mature for his age, which would mean, the TT's on their way out! He is still repeating everything we say, sometimes funny -sometimes not! He loves Barney and trains and playing with his big brother, Tommy. We are going to try and teach him about Christmas as soon as we get past his birthday. I'm sure he'll grasp the present idea rather quickly.
Tommy is doing so great! He has been working very hard this year and came home with excellent grades for the first quarter! I am very proud of him. Tommy is every parents dream. He's compassionate, respectful, intelligent, and FUN! He is extremely patient with his little brother and very helpful around the house! He has his moments like any other 9 yr old, but I can't complain.
Enjoy the Holiday season!
Wow, almost Thanksgiving. Someone please slow down this crazy train.
10/23/08 Hi all! Mom & Dad are back from Mexico. We had a blast but will never leave the kiddos for that long again! It was rough! We missed them. The boys had a blast thought with their cousins, Ashley & Rebecca. I couldn't have asked for everything to turn out better!
Tommy's team won the Championship game last Saturday! We are so proud of him and excited about this accomplishment! Brian is proud proud proud as a coach and dad!
Trick or Treating this weekend! YAY!
