March 16th, 2010- My baby boy is 2 years old today.  It only seems like yesterday when I was forcing castor oil down my throat so I could force myself into labor.  Well, it worked and here we are.  Jonah brings me such joy everyday.  Even though he is a very stubborn little sucker...he is the sweetest little thing.  Never a day goes by when he doesn't make me smile.  And to see the bond between him and his sister is absolutely priceless.  It almost makes me want to have another baby....I did say almost.  He is starting to talk a little more.  It is so odd the way him and Sarayah communicate eventhough he doesn't speak.  I think he could talk if he wanted to but he just chooses not to.  I guess I should be counting my blessings that they both aren't talking my ears off right now.  He goes for his 2 yr check-up next week so I will post more then.  If I could ever get a warm sunny day I would go take his 2 yr pictures!  I know I need to!

January 26th, 2009-Jonah is just getting over his 2nd sinus infection in the last 3 months.  That is all that poor child ever gets.  He has had a runny nose and cough for over a week now but I assumed it was from him teething. (He is cutting his last 2 eye teeth on top....FINALLY) On Fri. night his sickness rounded the corner and his temp went up to 103.7.  He has never ran a fever that high so we visited the Dr.  He is now back to his mean self hitting everything and throwing fits.  The other day I had folded an entire basket of clothes and somehow I made him mad and he started throwing folded clothes out of the basket onto the floor.  He is so mean!  When he is pitching his fits Sarayah lays on the floor and mocks him and it make him worse.  It is pretty funny beacuse after he realizes what she is doing he starts laughing at her and forgets why he is mad.  He will be 2 in less than 2 months and the kid still doesn't talk.  He signs more than anything.  It is funny to see the signs that he has made up for himself.  I also think it is funny how different Sarayah was at his age.  She was speaking in full sentences, counting to ten and saying her ABC's.  I guess they all learn at their own pace.  I think I am going to wait until the summer to start potty training him.  There are too many different people watching him right now to try.

December 30th, 2009-  Jonah was so funny this Christmas.  He opened 2 or 3 presents and wouldn't open any more.  I had to open them for him.  I got him a pair of Sponge Bob slippers and he has worn them everyday since then.  He loves them!  He is still a wild man....OH YEAH....his passy is gone.  It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.  It only took 2-3 days and he was over it.  He really only asked for it when he was going to sleep or in the car.  He doesn't even ask for it now.  And he HATES the snow.  He wouldn't step foot in it without crying.  God love him!

December 7th, 2009-  Where do I start with my wild man, Jonah.  He is into everything all of the time.  It is amazing how much of a "boy" he really is.  He loves to watch any sport.  When he wants to watch UFC he acts like he is punching and makes the cutest sound like he is really hitting someone.  When it goes to a commercial he fusses and I have to tell him that it will come back on in a minute.  He has pee peed and poo pooed in the potty a few times...nothing major.  I am waiting til Christmas break when I am off for 2 weeks to work with him.  He loves Christmas lights.  He plugs our tree in everyday and then says..."ta-da!"  He is starting to talk a little better now but he will never talk a lot until I get rid of that stinkin passy or "Ba" as he calls it.  He will say "My ba!" when you take it away.  I love that kid!

October 3rd, 2009-  Jonah went for his 18 month check up yesterday.  He weighs 27lbs 10ozs.  He is in the 93rd percentile for height and 70 for weight.  Still tall and lanky.  All went well, he had 3 shots....2 boosters and the flu shot.  He didn't cry long....tough guy!  He is the most rambunctious kid I have ever seen in my life.  I am still constantly telling him to get down or to quit climbing on stuff.  He is very smart eventhough he still doesn't talk very much.  He knows how to hook up a video game that we have.  He even turns it to the righ tinput on the tv.  He sure is starting early!

September 20th, 2009-  JONAH PEE PEED IN THE POTTY FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!  I can't believe it.  Who would have thought that he would do that any time soon.  NOT ME!  He was so excited when he did it.  Sarayah made the biggest deal about it....so cute!  She came over and kissed him while he was still on the potty...lol!

A friend told me about a precious little boys website this morning and I have done nothing but read his blogs and cried thinking about how lucky I am to have such wonderful children. The last 4 months have been nothing but a challenge.... On April 20th he was shaken by his daycare provider and because of that has suffered extensive brain damage. Check out his site and tell others about it. It is www.noahsroad.com Then go hug your own kids and be thankful!

August 7th, 2009- Jonah took his first trip to Carowinds and hated it.  He hated how hot it was and he hated the waterpark.  For him to be a pisces he sure does hate the water.  Haha...after looking back at his stories...there isn't much Jonah likes.  He does like to eat.  Maybe he will start to like something when he gets a little older.

August 2nd, 2009- Jonah hates Chucky Cheese!  As you can see from the pictures he liked him from afar and would dance to his music but wouldn't dare get close to him.  He is finally starting to say some words now.  He says mama, dada, Rayah, Myles, Nana, bye, hey there.....that's pretty much it.  I am kind of enjoying him not talking because Sarayah talks enough for both of them.  He is a very healthy eater.  He likes broccoli, carrots, and everything he should.  Sarayah eats everything she shouldn't.  Jonah is getting skinnier by the day.  He is so active.  He has started banging his head on the floor again.  We got out of that for a month or two but he is back full force.  He is so cute and sweet.  My little man....

June 27th, 2009- I took Jonah to the dr yesterday for his 15 month checkup....wow....15 months of his life has already went by.  He weighs 25lbs 4oz and is 33 inches tall.  The dr said that he is going to be tall and lanky.  He is in the 95th percentile for his height and the 75th for his weight.  Developmentally he is doing great.  He is into EVERYTHING!!!   My poor body is never still when I am around him.  He keeps me moving constantly.  His temper seems to be shining through a little more now.  When Sarayah takes a toy away from him he will stomp his feet and swing his arms as hard as he can.  It's funny now but it won't be in a year.  God help me!

May 27th, 2009-  So if my son didn't have a scrape or bump on his head he wouldn't look normal.  He is constantly doing something to hurt himself like falling off of chairs or tripping and doing a nose stand on the pavement.  He is so all boy!

May 14th, 2009- When I was pregnant with Jonah I thought to myself....This kid is crazy!  He was constantly moving and kicking and tossing and turning.  When he was born he was the calmest baby ever.  He never moved, never cried, never caused me a bit of problems.......that is a different story now.  He is absolutely into everything.  He throws EVERYTHING in the trash.  He opens ever cabinet and gets everything out.  He climbs onto anything he can.  He is once again crazy!  He still doesn't really talk because Sarayah does the talking for him.  He has 8 teeth now.  His hair is finally growing in after the haircut.  I think his hair is going to be darker than Sarayah's.  He is still my sweet little baby!(sometimes)

April 27th, 2009- Jonah had his first haircut on saturday.  We had to cut it because he looked like he had a mullet.  We had Papi a birthday party on saturday too.  He's an old guy now....hehe.  I played with my camera yet again today.  The sun was shining too pretty not to.

I guess until I get a real photography website up and running, this is going to be it.  I took Bethany and Prestons pictures thurs and I thought they turned out good.  I have ordered some business cards so this should be interesting.  My kids have definately suffered through a ton a picture taking sessions!

April 13th, 2009- Jonah's 2nd Easter was fun.  He didn't really know what was going on except that he looked awfully cute.  He has been somewhat of a whiney butt here lately.  He said "hot" this morning.  He only has 6 teeth.  He falls more than Sarayah ever did.  His poor head is knotted up and black and blue....and boy does he has a temper!!!

March 21st, 2009- Today was Jonah's party.  I set up a little portrait studio downstairs but as you can tell Jonah wasn't having any of it.  He has had a cold for the last 3 days and hasn't felt the best in the world.  Jonah got a lot of toys.  He got 2 drums which he loves!  He is going to be a little drummer.  He didn't demolish his Elmo cake quite like he did the one on monday.  My little baby boy is walking pretty good now.  He has 6 teeth and hasn't nursed in 6 days.  That last part makes me pretty sad because I know that is the last one.  Atleast now I can start taking diet pills!!  JK

So....yesterday was Jonah's birthday.  It has been such a whirlwind this year and has gone by way too fast.  We had to celebrate a little on his actual birthday because we are not having his party til saturday.  I got him a little cake and well.....you can tell by the pictures what actually happened....HE LOVED IT!!!  He had so much fun demolishing his cake.  Sarayah was scared of hers when she turned one.  I took Jonah for his one year checkup today and he weighs 22lbs 15 ozs.  He is in the 50th percentile for everything.  He also got 3 shots and boy did he cry!  I will update more after his party.  I can't believe my baby is already one!

I was playing with my camera again today.  I thought the pics turned out pretty good.

February 19th, 2009- Jonah has another tooth.  It's the one on the bottom next to the other two teeth he has.  He also took 3 steps two different times last night.  His development is a lot different than Sarayah's was.  When she was 11 months old she had a mouth full of teeth and was running all over the place.  Oh well, I am trying to keep him a baby as long as possible I guess.

February 13th, 2009- Jonah got his first brain freeze today.  He LOVES ice cream...maybe more than I do.  He was drinking my milkshake and then closed his eyes really tight and then put his hand up to his head.  He was too cute.  He finally says "mama", but only when he gets mad at me.  He has been drinking real milk for about 2 weeks now and is doing great.  I am still nursing him 2-3 times a day but that is going to stop in a month.  It's kind of bitter sweet because I can't lose the rest of my 13lbs until I stop but I this is the last baby that I am ever going to nurse.  He drinks out of a sippy cup very good so breaking him from a bottle isn't going to be a problem because he doesn't drink out of one.  His passy is going to be a BIG issue.  He is so attached to that thing it isn't even funny.  I will break him shortly after he turns one because I cannot stand for a 2-3 yr old kid sucking on a passy.  He still only has 2 teeth so atleast I know the passy won't make that much of a difference with how his teeth are going to form.  I never had trouble with a passy with Sarayah because she never took one.  Jonah no longer like baby food.  He wants real table food.  Therefore, I only got 4 good months feeding him baby food.  I can't believe he turns one in a month.  It doesn't seem possible.  He is also turning into a major dare-devil.  He wants to stand on everything.  He stands on his cars that he walks behind and he gets up in the little rocking chair and stands in it too.  He is so attached to his mommy that it is almost annoying.  He won't go to anyone if I am around.  He is fine playing as long as he can see me.  Well, I guess I will update more in a month at his birthday!
