Stories Chloe was coloring on 1/22/09 and decided she was going to draw daddy. So I asked her to draw other people. She did pretty good and then got sick of it. I will try to get her to draw the rest of our family and friends. I thought it was to cute. She had to do arms and eyes. Some aren't too bad, but others are just circles. What a great thing for her scrapbook. 1-25-09 We did make it to SD on Wed night for supper with the Wiehr's. Great time, short and sweet! It was so nice to see them and the kids. Chloe didn't want Carter to go, she really liked him! She did so good in the car and there was no throwing up as there normally is sometime around arrival. This weekend was a relaxing one. Saturday night we went out to the Golden Palace, Chloe's favorite place to eat, rented some movies and games and hung low. Sunday was spent with breakfast (it's been awhile since we actually made breakfast), and by the fireplace with movies and the Wii. Everyone is doing well and praying for good weather this weekend for the snow races and ice castle.
1-19-09 While we didn't venture to SD on Sunday morning as MNDOT and SD DOT said the roads were icy and difficult driving conditions. We didn't need another tow bill or worse. So we decided we would meet the Wiehr's on Wednesday night for supper in Watertown. THe weather sounds great! 1-17-09 So most of plans are postponed from this week. Josh's races were cancelled, our SD trip is rescheduled for Sun morning and potty training is not getting anywhere. Oh well. We did get to babysit the girls last night. They all had a great time. For supper we ordered pizza and afterwords we made/decorated Valentine's cupcakes. Josh had his touch up done on his legs yesterday and had a hard time at the Dr's office, but is doing well this morning. Chloe will get to go with Gma Connie and Beba for part of the evening tonight. The WCT Xmas Party is tonight and I am hoping the weather doesn't keep alot of people from coming. Should be a good time and we are excited to see the Wiehr's for a short brunch trip to SD. 1-11-09 Time for an update finally!!! I have been sick the most part of last week with an awful sinus infection. Today I finally felt the best in a week. We have been pushing the potty thing this weekend and had some successes. Friday night and Saturday morning went well. And then this afternoon and evening went well too. The best move was taking the potty chair to the living room and leaving her alone for a few minutes. Tonight Josh said "She seems really quiet?" Sure enough she had left a BIG surprise for us. She gets so proud of herself when she goes. She will stand up and say Yeah and Chloe's a big girl. Hoping that this will continue well and she will start asking to go herself. Josh, Chloe, Pat and I willl be making a short trip to SD to meet up with the Wiehr's on Thursday night right after work. We will meet for dinner, exchange some xmas gifts and pick up a battery for someone at Walt's. Hope that we can make a trip to stay longer soon. Friday we have the girls overnight and Saturday we are hoping to be in Spicer for the snowbobile races and ice castle (weather permitting). Saturday evening we have the WCT xmas party so Chloe will stay with Gma and Beba. We are also in the works for another trip to Breezy Point with Shane and Brooke and a weekend pool getaway with Chloe. So things are busy but it should be fun.
