Stories 1-1-09 Happy New Year to all! We have been busy around the house. Christmas's are over but with new toys all over, Chloe has been playing with them all. We had her 6 mth check up on Monday for her tubes. After waiting until 5:00 to see the Dr (our apt was at 3:50), everything turned out great! Both tubes are still in and the Dr hopes they will stay in through the winter and that they will fall out on their own. Everything looked good too after being so full of wax a couple weeks ago. He was concerned when I told him that, that the tube was stuck in there inside a ball of wax (can happen). He said it was very clear and normal to have wax build up like she did. We don't have to see him until 6 more mths. New Year's was very laid back for us. On New year's Day we went out sledding and snowmobling in the morning before the winds came. Chloe had fun but was very tuckered out. She refuses to get on daddy's snowmobile for a little ride. I am fortunate to have a 4 day weekend, so we can hopefully get some organizing done in Chloe's room, that is if she will let me. We hope everyone is healthy and has a wonderful 2009! 12-26-08 Chloe spent the day at mom and John's. Josh and I were both unable to get the day off from work. They took Chloe sledding down their hills and built a snowman. She had so much fun with them and I am sure they were exhausted when she left. Later on Chloe and I helped Daddy chisel the driveway off, we only got half done. We took Chloe around in her sled, built a snowman and used her new shovel. She just loved being outside and was extremly tuckered when she was ready to come in. A warm bath, warm jammies and her Tinkerbell movie were a hit. 12-25-08 We woke up and opened our gifts at home. We added some items to Chloe's Cottage and got her some other odds and ends. She loves her new Barbie Diamond Castle Movie and especially the markers and stamps sets Santa left. Before lunch we opened gifts with Mom and John. Chloe got a new red sled that she just loved!!! Tinkerbell Movie was also another item she loved. She kept screeming "toys"! We all stayed and moms and helped get ready for the Nelson Xmas. Mom and I made Spagetti and Meatballs. It was an excellent supper, but more work than we thought it would be. Exhausted we were. Liz and her family and GGma and GGPa came later for supper and presents. It was fun, but we are running out of room for everyone. Chloe got some more stuff for her Cottage and a baby she just loves. 12-24-08 We celebrated xmas eve with Josh's family over for munchies, presents and a little bit of the Wii. It was a late night but it was a good time. Chloe got some fun gifts. One was a dress up trunk that her and Bailey had fun playing with. It was too cute. 12-22-08 Chloe had her daycare xmas party today. They exchanged gifts with the name that the drew and celebrated with a fun snack/craft. Chloe got a McDonald's cash register and a new baby. Another nice gift was an awful bite from someone.
