Stories 8-28-08 The Nelson girls got our pickles canned this weekend. Grandma Connie, GAunt Liz and 2nd cousin Casidy canned while Chloe played. She was such a trooper, she didn't come into the kitchen to be in the way at all. She decided that she wasn't going to take a nap, so I didn't force the issue. When we sat down for dinner she was falling asleep eating her burger and corn. Long day, but it was fun. We haven't been doing to much else, but it seems that there is no time left in the day. Planning on a trip to como zoo in September and Daddy is gearing up for his annual Haydays trip with the guys. I have some new pictures I need to post, so watch for those in the next couple days.Chloe is in the paper today! Check it out Page A6 in the How cute is that ad... 8/17/08 Chloe and Mommy went to Grandma Connie's to play with the new water/sand table. Chloe had so much fun! Grandma's got pics so we will post when we get them from her. Otherwise, Chloe took a nice nap and played in the water hose. Not a productive day, but nice to for a change. Now onto the work week...Grandpa Nitro was called into work yesterday, Waite Park Coborns had a fire so he was busy there. 8/16/08 Chloe, Gma Connie, GGMa Shirley and Mommy went to Casidy and Sheena's bady shower in Spicer. Chloe had so much fun playing with the kids and running around the house. She was exhausted but only took a nap from Spicer to our house. She did really good the rest of the night considering the short nap. Mommy got her sandal caught in a crease of the drive there and took a tumble, I am hurting, but all that matters is that Chloe didn't get hurt or bang her head on the cement. Saturday night we enjoyed some quite time with Daddy at home. Everyone was sleeping before 10 pm, that doesn't usually happen on a Sat night, but that was alright with me. 8/15/08 We celebrated GGMa Rosie's 82nd bday at G & G Habicht's house. Mike and Jane were in town too, so it was nice to see them. They picked up Bob and Gma and we enjoyed Brats and Burgers. Chloe enjoyed running around and eating chips and cake!
