7-26-08 Chloe got to spend the night at G & G Habicht's house.   Josh and I grabbed some supper and a movie and enjoyed some peaceful time at home.   Both of us had to work on Saturday, so we didn't go out on the town.   After I worked, Chloe and I went to visit GGMa Shirley at the hospital, she had knee surgery on Thursday afternoon and is doing very well.   I thought she looked great!   Chloe had so much fun putting on the lovely hospital socks and walking around with the walker.   Lunch time came and she helped herself to some fruit (without asking).   Don't put fruit out in front of Chloe and not expect her to ignore it.   I guess it is better that candy!   In the evening we enjoyed LOTS of muchies with the Jensen's for my birthday.   Vegie Pizza, Mushrooms wrapped in bacon, El Tapatio Chips/Salsa, Homemade BBQ Meatballs, Dilly Bars, etc.   Too much, but it was fun!   The girls played liked crazy and us adults enjoyed a little Skip-Bo.   Not to late of a night, but OK since I was up since 5 AM.

Oh and Josh went to change the furnace filter this AM and found gallons of water in our storage room, guess what we will be cleaning out this weekend!   He did get the condensation line unplugged and we were good to go.  

7-28-08   A very productive day.   Went to visit Gma Connie and Gpa John.   We finally got to give mom her bday presents.   Spend some time playing with a punch ball (remember those???).   Chloe had so much fun punching the ball and running after it.   It was just too funny to watch and I think Gpa John got some video.   Josh and I spent Chloe's naptime going through our storage room and got rid of a lot of stuff.   Goodwill will be happy today!   Felt really good to reorganize and purge lots of stuff.   GGMa Rosie came for a "squeeze" and a Hi.   Otherwise we hung low Sunday night and watched the Food Network Star finale!   Go Aaron.   Josh lost a bet to me on who gets the next DQ run, he voted for Lisa.

7-23-08  Well I had a great 25th bday yesterday.  We got to eat supper at the Golden Palace with Gma Connie and Gpa John.  Chloe ate soooooo much food, I thought for sure she would get sick from it all.  We have had a couple more successes on the potty chair over the weekend, still not pressuring the issue but we try. 

Watch the Channel 9 news at 9 tonight, they will have a story about Mark, Alicia, Nathan and ^Ian^.  There will be a golf fundraiser on 8-22-08 in the cities.  For more info:  www.caringbridge.org/visit/markandaliciaspindler
