Stories 7-15-08 Success again today! We had a small amount of #1 on the floor but we got most of it in her potty in time. She was so excited to hear her potty sing to her and enjoyed her popsicle that she earned. Josh, Chloe and I were wresting in our bedroom last night, she sat on my lap and jumped up and low and behold I got a fat lip. I got a big sorry hug from her so that made it all better. My mission is to sew this week, I have 8 cuddle wraps cut up, but need to sew them together this week. I also got started working on her scrapbook again, I really need to get caught up. 7-14-08 PM We had succes in the bathroom again this evening. Chloe went #2 in her own potty and said "bye-bye" to it. Too cute. She enjoyed some ice cream for her big girl night! Josh had his 1st treatment for his varicose (sp?) veins today. Wow, that was unreal to see the procedure. Wouldn't choose to do it again. But glad I was able to be there. They literally tied of 5 of his commnicating veins. Yuck. Next step is October were they will inject to deaden the bad veins and then they wrap his legs for a whole week. He was in alot of pain when we got home and more during the following day. 7-14-08 We have survived the weekend and all tornado flurry from Friday night. Boy was that too close for comfort, a couple miles North and we would be picking up all the pieces of our home. Chloe came home from daycare on Thursday with a bite and scratch. Not sure what will come about now. Brooke was going to talk with the mom on Thursday, I just have forgotten to ask how that went. It is getting old. Everyweek she comes how with at least 1 scratch, I will post a pic of the bite. Not a good thing and mommy is at the end. Josh has talked to the father, but I really don't think they are taking it seriously. We will see how this week goes, 1 more and I am done. Saturday Chloe and I went to the pool with Brooke and the girls. We had a great time, and Chloe just loved it. She was so cold, but wouldn't come out of the water. I did get some great pics, so watch for those in the next couple of days. Sunday Chloe got to spend some time with Gma Connie and Gpa John, while mom and dad attend the Walt's summer picnic at Big Kahuna. There wasn't enough for her to do, so we made a bike trip up there. Was a good time and good food. 7-9-08 Sorry that I haven't updated from the weekend, it has just been crazy at home and work. Josh's bday party went over great. We were up way too late, but it was fun. We pretty much hung low for the weekend. Friday we spent time with daddy on his bday. Saturday we had lunch with Gma Connie and Gpa John at the Golden Palace, if you ever want to take Chloe to eat, that's the place. She just loves it, and the shrimp besides. Saturday night we visited Gpa and Gma Habicht as Cristel was visiting helping them get ready to move, which they did yesterday. The house is not complete but enought to be living there. Sunday night we went out for dinner with Gma Rosie, Dad, Ronda and Cristel to Applebees. Otherwise is was nice and quite. We are hoping to venture to the pool this weekend with Brooke and the girls. Should be interesting, she has been there, but we haven't. Sunday we have our Summer picnic for Walt's at the Big Kahuna in Spicer. Chloe is still too little for there, so we will have to find a sitter. 7-2-08 Chloe ventured into the bathroom as usual with me last night, so I asked her if she needed to potty. She sat on her own chair for awhile, and then thought her baby needed to potty so she tried to put her onto the BIG chair, I stopped that quickly. So I swapped them. Chloe went on the big chair with her Dora travel seat from G and G Habicht and baby went on Chloe's little chair. Worked wonders, after about 5 minutes of playing and talking to each other, the "poop" face came. And wouldn't you know she actually went on the BIG potty! I was so excited and I NEED to get her on there more than I do. Chloe enjoyed her ice cream sandwhich and mom and dad were very proud of our BIG girl! I have pictures to update but summer is here and I have been horrible to even take many. Daddy's bday party is Thursday night so we are busy cleaning and making treats! He was called for jury duty today and wasn't happy. He got out of it, and I will let him tell you what he said to the them when they were selecing jurors. Couldn't believe he had the guts. Oh well, at least he showed up.
