Stories 4-14-08 Chloe is at the end of her meds, but still has a runny nose and now a cough. Poor girl! We celebrated Bailey's 1 st birthday on Friday night. She was so much fun on her little car we got for her. She also enjoyed digging into her cake Brooke had made just for her. Then we all enjoyed some cake of our own. Chloe took one bite and said "NUMMY"!. Too cute. The girls had a great time just playing as cousins and we actually got all 3 to sit for a decent picture. Bailey took off crawling now and won't be long and she will be walking. Saturday morning Chloe, Mom, GGMa, Gma Connie and Lia decorated the Legion for Arne's Testimonial. Chloe had a blast running around the Legion with her stroller. She was playing their piano and singing, Liz asked her to take a bow and she did. I wish I had a video of it, too precious. Saturday night she stayed over at G & G Habicht's, she had a great time their while Josh and I went to Arne's Testimonial then to Shane and Brooke's for classic Nitendo games. Too late, but it was fun. Sunday we didn't do too much. Josh, Chloe and I spent some good time reading last night and I couldn't believe how many words Chloe was trying to say. We have a Barney Farm and Zoo book that she just loves to read. We ask her to make the noises, but she just smiles until we do them. For the giraffes she puts her hand up tall above her head. I will have pictures uploaded soon, so stay tuned! 4/9/08 Will do a brief update! Mommy got pink eye on Mon and Chloe woke up with it on Tues. Check out that awful pics. I will update more when time allows. 3/24/08 Hope the everyone had a blessed Easter! Chloe made a haul with some great things from ALL her Easter baskets! I will be posting pictures hopefully today or Tuesday. Friday we celebrated with Dad and Ronda, they came over for some munchies and gave Chloe a wonderful stash of Dora items. We had a good relaxing time to just chat. Saturday morning Grandma Connie and Mommy tried our attempt to get Chloe to see the Easter bunny. She has never clung on so tight to mommy before, there was no sitting on the bunny's lap. At least we tried. Saturday night we celebrated with Grandpa and Grandma Jensen, Shane, Brooke, Paige and Bailey. We had a pizza party, egg hunt and some more Easter basket goodies. The girls enjoyed blowing their Peep bubbles in the kitchen, only at Grandma's can you get away with that. Chloe learned to say "bubies" = bubbles. She got extremely crabby so I took her home while daddy stayed to play cards. Sunday morning we woke up and enjoyed watching Chloe open her basket from us. A Miss Spider one that was filled with Spider Books, clothes and money for her piggy bank. Sunday evening we celebrated with Grandma Connie and Grandpa John, and the rest of the Nelson gang. Chloe had an egg hunt there and made a huge haul on some more basket goodies. Mom found a Spider toy online that she LOVES! When Chloe went to bed last night she had to have all 3 of her "buggy friends" with her. This morning she woke up, got ready for Brooke's and made sure that her Bounce basket had her 3 buggy friends in it and carried it out with us. Too cute! 3/20/08 How about it, I actually wrote something 3 days in a row. We spent some time outside last night, Chloe and I walked around the block. She rode on her new trike and had a blast! When we came home she had more fun kicking and throwing the ball around the driveway and getting muddy! Oh well, at least she had fun! 3/19/08 We made it through dyeing eggs last night and decorating cookies. Chloe was so excited about dying the eggs, but boy was it a mess, I thought her hands would never come clean. They did after her bath though. She always had to have an egg in her hand or being stirred into the dye. After that we decorated some cookies and she snuck a jellybean and ate it. I thought for sure she would know to chew it but she did just fine. (also loved eating the sprinkles) She was extremely tired when she went to bed and didn't want to wake up this morning, Watch for new pictures in the next few days.
