3/18/08 Time for an update!!!

Last week we spent some time at the park, although it was too wet for Chloe to run, she still had a blast and of course didn't want to leave.   I took some great outdoor pictures of her.

This past weekend was full of errands and food!   Friday Grandma Connie and Mommy went to St. Cloud shopping (without Chloe, for the 1 st time).   It was a great time not having to keep her occupied, but we missed her of course.   We ate lunch at Mongo's Grill in St. Cloud, I would suggest this if you love Chinese or Stir Fry's.   You can build your own.   We hit the usual spots, Pier 1, Mall, Party Store and got some great deals at Gymboree!   Saturday morning Chloe and I dropped our food donations of at the

Food Drive
for the Tribune.   Chloe helped by donating a box of her Roni.   Her ultimate favorite meal!   We had a hot dog lunch, came home for a nap and then went to Grandma Connie and Grandpa John's for supper.   Ahren, Leah and Maya were in town, so we got to spend some time with them too.   They brought back the cutest purse from their trip to Taiwan.   Chloe's new word in me, me, me.   We all think that she is really trying to say Please, as that is what we were trying to get her to say for the last few weeks.

Tonight we will attempt to dye Easter eggs for the first time and decorate some Easter cookies too.   Grandpa John wanted to dye eggs too, so he and mom will be over after work.   Stay tuned for the pictures!

The birthday invites are out and we cannot wait to celebrate Chloe turning 2 with you!

3/11/08   The new countertops and new sink are in!!!   All we are waiting for is the drapes for the patio window.   Chloe and I went for supper at Mom and John's last night until the PROJECT was complete.   It looks so nice.   Chloe had fun at Grandma and Grandpa's.   She had just started another cold, so hopefully this one will be a quick one.   I am sending out her birthday invites in the next couple days and planning all the details for the actual party.   I cannot wait.   I called a couple people for taking her pictures, and I have some cool ideas for them.   I know that I could probably take them myself, but I like to have a different style (professional) from someone else.

Chloe woke this morning at 5 am, so I stuck her in bed with Josh and I.   She slept for about 20-30 minutes more and then cuddled with us.   She sat up and gave me a big kiss out of the blue, so daddy asked for one and she gave him one right away.   It was so sweet, and she was so happy to be laying there with us.    It was so cute!!!   And Josh and I just loved it, what a way to start your day out!   (Even though she was up too early!)   Easter is approaching and we need to get those eggs dyed.   Bailey's 1 st Birthday if fast approaching too, can't believe it that she was such a tiny little girl when she was born and now look at her.

I will try to get some new pics on here soon!

3/8/08 Chloe had her ear recheck yesterday and things looked good!  The Dr said that there is just a small portion that needs to heal from the burst, but nothing to worry about.  She will check it again in May at her 2 year well check.  Things are well at home, we are tearing out the countertops this weekend, and the new will be installed on Monday.  I can't wait!!!  I also ordered some new curtains for the kitchen too!  I will post pics when it is complete.

We are gearing up for Easter.  We need to plan a night to dye eggs, should be a challenge, but we will try.  Easter basket is filled, just waiting to get a couple items from Ebay shipped to us.  You will not believe that is just about the only place we can find Miss Spider stuff.  Got some neat things coming for her.

Next on the to-do is planning her 2 year party and pictures.  We have some names for photographers, now all I need to do is call them and see what their pricing looks like.  Looks like we are going to have hot dogs and brats, salads and cupcakes!  Should be a good time.

Chloe is getting so big.  We have had so much fun with her lately.  She loves to play with Play Dough (only tries to eat it once in awhile if we aren't careful).  We keep trying to get her to sit on the potty, but she isn't ready if you ask me.  Thats ok, soon she will be.  Chloe spent the night at Grandma and Grandpa Jensen's last night with Paige and they are having a blast.  I had to be to work at 6 am, and Josh took me out on a date for appetizers and drinks last night.  It was so nice and quite.  Hope everyone is happy and healthy!

2/26/08

We had the Wiehr's at our house this weekend.   It was great to see them and get the kids together once again.   Saturday night we had Build-your-own Nachos and a nummy dessert I made in the crock pot.   The kids enjoyed paiting with water and playing in Chloe's new tent Daddy found at the Tool Sale.   Sunday we woke up and went to brunch at Mc Millian's before the left to go back home.   Was a good time once again!

Everything is going well at our house.   Josh and I ordered our new countertops and kitchen sink, so we are cleaning up the kitchen and painting the ceiling to gear up for that.   Josh is just itching for a project.   Chloe is doing very well, although I think the rest of her teeth are trying to come, she chews on EVERYTHING!   I have her Miss Spider stuff ordered for her birthday party.   Still looking at May 3 or May 17.

2/18/08 Chloe is feeling back to her normal self again.  We are down to only giving her ear drops 4 times a day, nice to not have to force meds down her all day everyday.  I think if she gets sick again, we will ask for Zithromax, she was better after the 1st dose.  She has been such a sweetheat this weekend and loves to cuddle.  We missed that as she was in an extreme independent stage for awhile.  We took the potty out again, but still no sign that she really wants to do it, we still try once in awhile.  We are starting to gather ideas for her birthday party and I bought the big gift from Josh and I over the weekend.  Coupe Car, classic kids toy!  We are tenatively looking at doing a Miss Spider themed birthday "Hatch Day" party on May 4 or 17.  We will let you know when it comes closer.  As for now I will post her birthday wish list under the Family tab.
