Stories 7-28-09 Sorry for the lack of updates. My birthday came and went, and went bery well. I got to take the day off and spend with Mom, Chloe, Sis-In-Law and niece. It was so nice to sit by the lake and relax and not have to be anywhere or work for that. I FINALLY got my camera that I have been dying to get. So if anyone wants some pics taken I am out to get used to it and take photos of some other people besides Chloe all that time. This last Saturday Lisa and Noah, Chloe and I met for some pics and a picnic and then we met them on Sunday again for a few hours at the pool, perfect day for it! We are now gearing up for our trip to the zoo on Sunday and Chloe is so excited, so we are praying that the weather holds out, as it never does for us to go. And I can't wait to use my camera there as well!7-16-09 While the weekend trip to SD was a success and we had a blast. We left Sat afternoon and showed up in time for dinner. Chloe did well in the car until a half hour left, she just cried and wanted out. It all boils down to hunger and boredom. Althought she had a wonderful time there. The kids got to play and then we watched fireworks. Sunday we ate breakfast and the kiddos opened gifts, and we hung low until nap time and then left for home. The ride home for Chloe went alot better as she slept most of the time. We had her ENT check up this morning, it has been 14 months since we had her tubes placed. They are still there and clear/open. They can stay in for as long as 3 years before they worry about taking them out with surgert, most cases will fall out on their own. We will see the Dr again in 6 mths for another re-check. Tonight we did the haircut adventure. Chloe is doing so much better with haircuts and she LOVES going to see Stacy and get her suckers! This weekend Laura and Rich will be camping at Games so we will go out to visit for swimming and a bonfire! Shane and Brooke bought a boat, so we hope that they will be out there too. On Wednesday Chloe, Josh, Shane and Paige has a daddy day in the boat with the girls. Neither had to work so they took advantage of it. Chloe had a blast and still talks about it and can't wait to go again. 7-11-09 Just think that 9 years ago today, Josh and I officially started dating. Funny, seems like longer. Anyway, we are off to Tim and Kelly's for the evening. Food, Fireworks and Fun! We will update when we come home. Works are in the plans for a Zoo trip and more times to the pool! 7-5-09 Happy Birthday to Josh (a day late). We have been busy this weekend. Chloe was sick with a tummy bug Wed and Thurs. Friday was my day off so we tried to hang low. Chloe wanted to visit Daddy and Mom/John. So we did that right away. Grandma took us all for lunch and I think Chloe did too much, too soon. Her lunch was ALL over our table. Nice huh? So I took her home for a MUCH needed nap, she slept until about 6pm. It was needed. Friday night we had daddy's bday party. Not much of a to do. Just a little family and couple of friends. Saturday morning we got up and did the Spicer parade and Flea Market. Came home to relax and went back for firworks Sat night at Uncle Bobby's. Daddy and Gpa Mac decided we were going to start using the place, so dad was going to see what Bob thought. Chloe so wanted to go swimming and have a picnic out there! I told her we would come back and stay and do it all. Josh can't wait to get his hands on the place for a few days to clean up, he really wants to use it. Overall it was a good weekend! 6-29-09 We have been working on the potty thing. Not mcuh sucess but the interest is greater. Thursday we went to the block party with Brooke, Paige, Bailey and Laura. We watched the kiddie parade and then stopped to see Colleen's School of Dance perform. Chloe wanted to go up with the little Ballerina's and was so upset that she couldn't. So I told her if she would potty train, that we would sign her up for classes. She was so excited all day Friday, so we went out to buy panties. Chloe went to beg with them Fri and Sat night. Josh and I went on a ride Friday night so Chloe spent some time at Mom and John's. Saturday morning we went to the parade and met up with Liz and her family. CHloe had a blast. Later that night we went to Papa Mac's to see the fireworks, and she loved them. Sunday we spent some time in her big girl panties, she lasted 2 hours without an accident until she peed on the sidewalk. Her interest is still there, but nothing on the potty chair yet. Stay tuned!
