Christmas was good this year.
Though I cannot do 7 in one weekend again.
Chloe was extremely exhausted as well as mom.
We all got some great gifts.
This is how the weekend went:
Friday - Chloe got to have her party at Brooke's with all the kids.
She made out with a new baby and a pig car.
They had fun making crafts, eating cookies and opening gifts.
The Wiehr's came to spend the night on Friday.
We exchanged gifts with the kids and then gave Tim and Kelly a new game that we got to play as well.
In a Pickle, recommend for a good time!
Saturday - We woke up and made breakfast sandwiches, and us girls went to the mall.
Kelly had some Christmas money to spend so I helped!
We ate lunch and they went on for their Christmas in Hector.
Chloe started to get another cold.
Merry Christmas for runny noses.
Saturday evening EVERYONE went to see Gpa at Glen Oaks.
Everyone made it home for one BIG family picture.
It has been since Ahren and Leah got married that we were all there together for a photo.
Afterwards we went to Gma Rosie's for supper and gifts.
Chloe made a haul their too.
A new piano, money, clothes and some mini Elmo's.
Sunday - Brunch was spent at Gpa Mac and Gma Ronda's.
All the Habicht's joined again for some yummy egg bake, fruit and muffins.
After everyone left we opened gifts with dad, Ronda, Ahren and Leah.
Chloe got her 1
st pair of figure skates, clothes, meaga blocks in a wagon and some goodies for her kitchen.
We trekked home soon after to get her a nap, only got ½ hour.
She wanted no more.
So we went to Rich and Laura's.
Chloe was a bear cat.
She didn't want to open any presents, nor did she want to behave.
She dumped a pop on the floor and a beer all over her new PJs.
The girls loved all their gifts and we even got some pictures in their matching PJS I found for them.
Monday - I took the day off to relax.
I got some laundry done, dishes and even sorted the old toys from the new ones.
I cannot wait until the tree is down so Chloe has room for all her goodies.
Chloe enjoyed relaxing at home as well.
We both needed the time to ourselves.
We met up with the Olson's for supper in Spicer at Great Gma Donna's and a few gifts.
Chloe was in a much better mood, amazing what a nap will do.
Tuesday - We spent brunch with Gma Connie and Gpa John, Ahren and Leah.
We ate French Toast, Ham and Eggs and opened gifts for one another.
Chloe got herself a new trike, some great clothes, and Her 1
st Barrel of Monkey's she loved them.
She even got herself a Cabbage Patch Doll for the bath tub (I cannot wait to use it tonight!).
We stayed at moms until it was time for the Nelson's Christmas of Appetizer's and gifts.
Everyone made it there as well.
Chloe made a haul again.
Some new luggage, the cutest baby doll set, puzzles, and some more cute clothes!
My relies sure do know how to dress my princess so cute!
We came home and got everything organized and put her to bed.
Now the goal is to we need to get back to a schedule.
Josh and I got some new games we will try this week, we'll let you know what we think.
He got the new Life, which is kind of fun for a change.
We played it while we threw some laundry in last night.
I will upload pictures tonight and sort through them, so hopefully there will be pictures on the site Thursday.
Don't count me on it, but they should be up in the next few days.
I have the joy of yet another cold, so I may not get too much done.
Hope that everyone had a safe and healthy Christmas, and that Santa brought you what you asked for!!!
12-21-07 Chloe has her Daycare party today, boy were the kids excited for that today!!! Gpa was in to get another MRI yesterday as they think he may have a blood clot in his arm. Dad and Grandma Rosie will meet with the Dr on his rounds today so hopefully they will have a treatment plan for him at that time. Otherwise he is doing ok, they are making him comfotable. All of the families will take turns to visit him on Saturday. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas, I am off to finish some last minute stuff during my lunch break.
12-20-07 The countdown is on for Christmas (all 7 to be exact). Yes we will be celebrating 7 times from Friday until Tuesday night. Here is the order: Friday - The Wiehr's at our house, Saturday - PM with the Habicht's, Sunday AM with our family, brunch at G/G Habicht's, PM with G/G Jensen, Monday - PM with the Olson's, Tuesday - AM at MooMoo's (sweedish slang for Gma) and Gpa Nitro's, PM with the Nelson's. How is that for Xmas celebrations. Chloe will have a blast this year!!! I can't wait to see her with ALL her goodies that everyone bought, she will love everything (at least what I have been told she is getting).
For last weekend, we had fun, got to be a little stressful. Saturday we left for Ahren and Leah's. Got to partake in the Nutcracker on Macy's 8th floor and saw Santa. We also got to see the Hollidazzle Parade. Chloe just loved everything. I have pictures, and will post ALL of them along with our xmas ones after I get through them all. Sunday we went to Ridgedale and ate at Champs for supper. Bad idea, Chloe got sick all over herself, the floor and mom. So needless to saw we went home shortly after. Long ride home, she decided she wanted to no longer be in the car for the last 15 minutes. When we were a block away she was calling for Dad and Heidi. It was so cute!
We stayed home Monday becuase all the hub bub and her getting sick. Which was a good thing as Brooke got to take Bailey in to find out she has a sinus infection. I needed the time as well, just to relax. Things are well now, I think that she just had to much with travel and the stops. Oh well we did have fun!
12-11-07 Happy 3 Year Anniversary to Josh and Myself! Although we have been together for 7, it seems like it is more than 3. I got some beautiful multi-colored roses delivered to me at work, sure brightens up my cubicle.
Grandpa will be moved back to Glen Oaks at 2:00 today, and Dad will meet with his Dr Wednesday to get some more questions answered. We will update when we know more.
12-10-07 Please pray for my Grandpa Geno (and all of our family). Grandpa Geno was diagnosed with cancer this morning. The Dr found a spot on his kidneys (which aren't working well at this time) and his pancreas (???spelling). He is currently at Rice, but when he is more stable they will move him back to Glen Oaks and where we will keep him comfy. Becuase he is 88 and not too healthy, they will make sure he is kept comfortable.
On a happier note, we finally got some family pics taken. Now I just need to get in and order them! Chloe and I baked Christmas goodies with Grandma Connie on Saturday. 7 kinds to be exact. We were all very tierd. Chloe even got to decorate some sugar cookies and had a blast. She would dip the ball of dough in the pretty stuff, lift it up and say "woooow". Too cute! She loved eating them too, that she kept climbing on the chair to try to snatch a cookie.
