8-14-07 We went to the fair on Friday night.  Chloe got to see the baby animals, and loved the cows.  We let her pull duckies out of the pond and she picked out a giraffe for her prize.  Mommy bought some yummy minidoughnuts, pork chop and Grandpa shared his cotton candy.  Daddy, Mommy, Grandpa Rich and Chloe went to the Truck and Tractor pull. We bought Chloe some ear plugs and she enjoyed watching them.  Daddy friend Andy from work pulled his truck in it.  Saturday morning was spent at the Farmer's Market buying vegies for making pickles.  Sunday morning Liz, mom, Casidy and I canned pickles and relish.  7 hours later we were done with ALOT of pickles.  Was fun, but long day!  I had Monday off and took Chloe to her 15 month check-up.  Which went very well.  SHe is now 22.3 lbs. (50%tile), height is 50%tile and her head is 90%tile.  Very healthy!  Back in another 3 months.

8/9/07 Great Grandma Donna's surgery went well.  She is expected to go home this morning.  She did have some issues with not breathing on her own when she came out, but on was on the vent overnight.  Josh went to visit and she was back to herself yesterday afternoon.  We are gearing up for making pickles this weekend.  Wish us luck!  Friday night we are going to the fair for Chloe to see all the animals and pick some ducks out of the pond.  Should be a good time.

8/6/07 It has been awhile since I have update on here.  So here it goes.  This weekend Mom, Liz and I froze corn.  Casidy stopped by to help bag it.  We froze 75 bags (2 cups each) of corn, think that will last us???  Casidy had her niece Taylor stop by to play.  Chloe and her were too cute.  Chloe was sharing and had a blast with someone more her size.  Darcy stopped by as well, pregnancy is going very well for her.  She is due in November.  We spent most of Saturday morning waiting for the rain to pass, not one of us was upset as it was much needed.  We made a quick run through the Farmer's Market for some goodies and to order our cucs for pickles next weekend!  We then went to McMillian's for lunch, let's just say I didn't pay for my sandwhich!!!  Awful, never left a resturaunt hungry, EVER!  Tuesday morning Josh's Grandma Donna is going in for her gall bladder, she has an infection in her gall stones, so they have to do this.  We got all of Chloe's 1st year pictures, so we are slowly handing them out and are impressed with them.  We will go back again!!!  Chloe is in for her 15 month check next Monday so we will report the news from that when we are done.  Mommy took the day off since we don't have daycare anyway, bonding day for Mommy and Chloe!  The County fair is this weekend, so we will take Chloe to see all the animals and rides, maybe even play a few games.  Will update with pictures from the weekend as soon as I get them off my camera.  Take care

7-24-07 Things are well at the Jensen home, besides someone learning that she can have temper tantrums.  No new teeth to report, they are coming because we can see them, but when we never know.  I have a had a 4 day weekend and brought Chloe to Brooke's Fri and Mon.  It was so nice to have some time to myself and not chase her around.  Friday I had a Pedicure (worth a million bucks).  Sunday (my birthday) was spent out to brunch with Mom, John, Gma and Arne, Liz and Paul.  Great time besides the horrible food and noisey kids.  It was so humid we just hung low at home.  That evening we went out with Grandpa Mac to the Golden Palace for supper.  Monday I made a ton of different kinds of waffles to freeze and went shopping without my tag-along.

We have finally got Chloe to go to bed and naps with just laying her down when she is tired and it is going very well.  Litlle cries at first, but doesn't take long to go to sleep.  I think it was just hard on mom to listen to her cry so hard at first I would just give in and go hold her.

Last Thursday we bought ponytail holders and barrets for her hair.  I decided that it is now long enough for "pretties".  She was so darn cute at Target, she ooooed and ahhhed at all the hair stuff.  And held her packages through the whole store and barely gave them to the cashier.  We went home and put in pigtails, that actually stayed in.  Adorable!!!

Hope everyone is in where it is cool this week!  Chloe will be a bare, but we will try to get out for a few minutes here and there.

7-18-07 Sorry for the lack of updates as we have been super busy at home and work!  Chloe has decided to make sleeping at night hard on us.  If she isn't up throughout the night it is the challenge of putting her down to bed for the night.  We are thinking it is teeth or too much naptime during the day.  So for starters we are making the am nap shorter, and soon to be taken away all together.  Otherwise there is NO report of any new teeth.  Still only the bottom 2.  I wish for her sake and ours that the rest will all come at 1 time!!!  Chloe has been loving the outdoors no matter how warm it has been.  Walking all over the place and learning the word "NO NO".  She loves her baby dolls and rocks them in the cradle. (she thinks she has to be in there too.)  The summer is going by fast and she is getting cuter everyday.  Will try to post some new photos soon.  We are awaiting the arrival of our 1st year pictures!!!
