6/7/07 Sorry for the lack of updates!!! I have been super busy with work and the homefront projects. Things are going well at home. Chloe is back to Brooke's for daycare and loving it as she always did. We have our garage and siding done, now all we have to do is mud the walls in the garage.
We are down to no bottles AT ALL during the day and it is going very well. I thought it would be a little harder. We started taking away the morning for a couple weeks and then decided this weekend to take the night one away. The next step is to buy a potty chair. Some people think I am crazy so early, but if you knew how much time she could spend playing in the bathroom, you would be thinking the same way too. Might as well do something productive while she is in there.
We had some 1 year pictures taken last Friday, so as soon as I get them I will post them. Take care!
5-15-07 Chloe had her party yesterday!!!
She made out like a bandit and we ALL had a great time in the heat!
Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated her special day with us.
We have added some pictures; make sure to check them out.
Chloe got lots of presents and loved them all.
Mommy also made her a ladybug cake to smash.
What a mess, but a good time.
She thought she would pick up the WHOLE cake.
Not afraid of the frosting at all.
We let her go swimming that night for the first time, she had a blast in the water.
Chloe had her 1
st year check up on Monday.
She is a healthy little one.
We can flip her car seat forward, wean her off the Zantac and start her own Whole milk (1/2 and 1/2).
She had 4 immunization shots and a finger prick to check for anemia and lead.
Dr Meyer also checked on her thrush and it looks clear.
Her weight was 19 lbs. 7 oz.
Kinda at a steady weight know for a few months!!!
All the moving is good for her.
The Dr said she looks great.
Dr would like to see her in August!
After the Dr Lori brought Hannah over so the girls could swim.
It was sooo cute.
Perfect size for the little princesses.
Chloe was really crabby last night after her pm nap (shots will do that).
After supper, Heidi came over with the kids and we went for a walk in the new wagon.
Peyton brought his bike and led the way.
The guys stayed behind and hauled gravel for the new garage addition.
Hope everyone is enjoying all this wonderful weather we have had.
Although a little rain is needed after the heat.
Today sure feels good!
Take care
5-8-07 HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY CHLOE!!! Today is Chloe's 1st birthday, I sit here thinking of all the great memories we have had with her in this 1st year and how many more there are to come. I am so thankful that Josh and I have this beautiful girl in our life. In the last few nights, Chloe has really started to walk, stands up all on her own without furniture. She has been eating all sorts of new foods and loving it all. Mom isn't liking the mess that goes with it, and Heidi is. Oh well, all part of parenthood. We had our first bloody boo boo on Sunday night. Chloe knocked her chin on the edge of the coffee table and her teeth cut through some of her top gum. I think I freaked out a little more than I need to, she was fine. Let's just say the coffee table has had too boo boos, so it is now in the basement (That was the final draw)!
4-27-07 Bailey got to go home last night. Everyone had to learn CPR and how to use the monitor that they are bringing home. Haven't heard how the first night went, but will update when we are back from Dallas. I will be back to work next Thursday, but we will be home late Tuesday night. We will have our cell phones on if you need us, we will not answer but leave a message. We don't have coverage down there. My mom and my dad will have all our information were we are staying and so forth. Chloe's thrush is much better, no stinky breath, but it sure is a pain to boil her nipples and nuks. Everyone have a good weekend and we will update when we return.
4-25-07 Josh and I are getting ready for our big trip this weekend. Of course Chloe would come down with a cold (which she gave to mom and dad) and now Trush. I knew something was wrong when her breath started to smell 2 nights ago, and so I watched. Low and behold she has white guk all over her tounge this morning. Called Dr. Meyer and got some meds without having to wait at the clinic all morning. Other than dealing with that, things are well at our house.
