Stories 12-9-06 Things have been hectic at our house this week. I was out from work 2 days sick with the stomach flu. Hoping that Chloe and Josh don't have it coming. It was horrible! Today is going to be a busy day. I am working until 11. Then we have a baby shower, and then the Tonic Sol Fa concert tonight. Should all be a good time. Sunday there is nothing planned except to try to get a family photo so I can get my Christmas cards in the mail. It is a challenge enough to get a great photo of Chloe, let alone all of us. Hope everyone is healthy and ready for Christmas!12-4-06 Our weekend was super busy. On Friday Chloe went to Grandma Connie and Grandpa John's house so mommy and daddy could go to a Snowmobile dinner. On Saturday mommy and Chloe stayed in all day. Josh, Lori and Hannah came later to visit us. All the adults stayed up late and played Cranium. It was fun to play a game finally. It has been a long time. On Sunday Chloe, Grandma Connie and I went to the mall to finish some xmas shopping. Chloe met Santa Clause. She was such a good girl, big smiles and all. I will post the picture when I get it scanned. She thought it was funny to pull on his beard. Thank goodness it was real!!! The bad part of the photos was that we lost them somewhere in the mall and didn't realize it until we got home. I went back and traced our footsteps and couldn't find them, and they weren't turned in at all. Mom and I wwere sick to my stomachs. She went back and found them in Herberger's childrens deparment leaning against a wall. How in the world she found them, but thank goodness. The photos aren't saved when they take them, so we would have had to go back with Chloe and redo them. Sunday night she went to Grandma and Grandpa Jensen's while Josh and I went to his Christmas party. It was so much fun. The food was excellent and there was great entertainment. Hope everyone is healthy. We are still fighting to get rid of our colds. Oh, I forgot. We officially have a dog. Matt decided to let us keep Heidi as he doesn't know where he stands in his treatments. He called Saturday to let Chloe know that she has an early Christmas present. Heidi has been wonderful at our home and Chloe will love to grow up with her. She can't wait to see her whenever she gets a chance. 11-29-06 Been awhile since I have updated! This last week and weekend was busy. Thursday we celebrated Chloe's 1st Thanksgiving. We spent lunch at Grandpa and Grandma Jensen's and then supper at Liz's. We ate lots of good food. Chloe got to enjoy cereal and peas. On Friday Josh and I both worked, so Grandma Connie watched Chloe for us. Josh decided to be one of the crazy shoppers and was the 5th in line at Menard's. He did get some great deals, but boy did he have stories to tell. Saturday CHloe spent some time at Grandma and Grandpa Habicht's so mom could clean the house. That evening we met up with them and Ahren and Leah for xmas. We had a Nacho Bar and Maragritas/Pina Coladas. It was so yummy! Chloe got a new "ride", Care Bare, towel and an outfit. She has been kinda moody lately and I do belive that those toofers are trying to sneak in. 11-20-06 Had a great weekend! The weather was so nice yesterday Josh and I got the outdoor xmas lights up. We went for Omletes with Great Grandma Shirley and went shopping at Target afterwards. Can't wait until Chloe's first xmas! Lisa and I went to Albertville shopping on Saturday. Didn't get to many xmas presents, but I only need a few more things and I will be done!!! We will celbrate our first xmas on Saturday with Dad, Ronda, Ahren and Leah. Chloe is getting up on her knees and rocking back and forth. Scary that she will be crawling soon! She loves her carrots and gets to try something new tonight! She is rolling all over the house. A few nights ago she rolled herself under the piano and then I put her back, so she decided to roll under the coffee table. She is a little busy girl! 11-17-06 Chloe had her 6 month well-baby check up yeaterday and things went great!!! She weighed 16 lbs. 13 oz., her height is 26", and head measured 42.5 cm. I thought she would be much heavier, she sure feels like it. Chloe got to eat Carrots for supper last night. At first she loved them, but towards the end she would make funny faces. Lisa and I are going shopping in Alvertville tommorrow. Hopefully I can get my xmas shopping done this weekend. Joshua and I set up our xmas stuff last night as we have our first xmas next weekend at our house.
