Stories 5-17-09 Well that big party is over and all went great! Time to put away presents, wash dishes, eat leftovers and enjoy new clothes! Thank you to everyone that came and brought Chloe a gift! She loved everything that she got! A special thanks to Mom for helping me setup, cook. And to everyone else that brought something to share, I greatly appreciated it. We had a wonderful time, with the little girlies running around in their Tinkerbell wings. The food was excellent too. Chloe got some great gifts, clothes, money, dress up, fishing poll and lifejackets, a whole bag of swimming goodies, movies, BUBBLES, etc. I have lots of pictures to go through and I am hoping to do so today, so stay tunned. Brooke rounded up her old daycare lady to take some photos of our girls for all their bdays and some of the 3 together. I can't wait to see what she can do for us. I would like to get them done and in the Thank You's, so if your Thank You isn't there soon, that is why.5-15-09 1 More Day until the BIG party day! Chloe is thrilled to have presents and a Tinkerbell party. Stay tuned for the pictures! Chloe is still battling her cold, but her spirits are up. 5-11-09 Chloe had a wonderful birthday on Friday. Gma and Beba wanted to take her out for Chinese. At daycare they had our ice cream cone cupcakes, painted mother's day flower pots and Chloe got a kitchen/apron set. She was extremely pooped out from her big day and all her phone calls. Saturday she woke up with a cold and we ran a few errands. Sunday Josh and Chloe took mommy out for brunch and we visited a few people before it was time for rest. We all slept the whole afternoon away, which was good as she didn't sleep well Sat night. This morning we had her 3 yr checkup and it went great! Chloe is 33.2 lbs and 37.75". She talked to Dr's ears off too, but the Dr loved it. She reassured us not to push the potty thing if Chloe gets upset about it, or it may just set us back more. We will keep trying, not pushing though. Saturday is the big party and Chloe is still excited, for presents that is! Cupcakes too! That has to be the new favorite thing, Cupcakes. Chloe has been enjoying the outdoors and BUBBLES! We never have enough in the house and ran out 2 days before her bday. Thank goodness they are a cheap thrill! Things are going well with Heidi gone, she has only asked a few times, otherwise she was talking to her on the phone last night saying "Hi Heidi". No emotional stress without her being here. 5-8-09 Today our baby girl turns 3 and she couldn't be more excited! We made ice cream cone cupcakes last night for her party at daycare today. Tonight we are going our for Chinease with Gma and Beba. The party is still slotted for next Saturday and she is going to have a great time! Chloe has been just loving this weather. She helps us in the garden, yard and loves to water and play with bubbles. We did have to make a very tough decision this week, Heidi is no longer at our house. Josh's cousins, one of the original owners, took her to be with them. We just have a busy life to make it fair on a dog. Someday down the road maybe we can try a cat??? Just have to convince Daddy. Chloe has asked a few times for her, but we just tell her that she is staying with Tom now. No tears at all from her. 4-27-09 The weekend went by fast as normal. Saturday we celebrated Josh's Gma's bday with a small get together at her apartment complex. It was a nice small party for her to enjoy. We made a small lunch and visited. The kids ran around as normal and played with balloons, cheap entertainment at any party! Saturday night Chloe and Daddy got to have a father/daughter night, well Dad, Gma Rosie and I went to a dinner/play. Gma Ronda has been working on Sylvia at the Barn, so we took Gma as our Mother's Day outing. It was nice to do something different for a change, and to get to spend time with them as well. Thanks much! We are sure in gear for Chloe's bday party, she is still so excited. This Friday we will celebrate Paige's 6th bday. Makes me feel really old, I couldn't imagine what Shane and Brooke feel like.
