Stories 8-18-06 Chloe is doing wonderful!!! Daycare says she is a completely different baby and she sure has been at home too. She has gone poopy everyday since we have been to the Dr. Last night we played on the blanket outside and put her in her Excersaucer for the first time. She had such a blast!!! She was such a happy baby yesterday! Everything goes into her mouth and she is trying so hard to suck on her thumb. If she gets her thumb in her mouth she gags on it. Enjoy the new pictures.8-16-06 Things are going great at our house so far! I have been giving Chloe pear juice in her formula in the mornings and gave her 1 dose of Colace on Mon night. We also started her on a low iron formula last night. She went poopy again and it was alot better than the prior ones. She seemed to be so content and a much happier baby yesterday. Daycare sends a slip home everyday on her meals, diaper changes and things she has done for the day. Yesterday she went from her back to her tummy!!! Of course she wouldn't do it at home last night. It will come. She is more interested in her toys now and loves the mirror. Her neck is getting so much better. The PT gave us some alternatives to tummy time, she was not much of a tummy time person. This is usual in CT babies. Daddy has her today, hopefully she will not pull what she did last week. She screamed for 3 hours before he finally called me. We think she was constipated then, so she should be good today. 8-15-06 PT went great. Tami was very informative and helpful on teaching us excersises for Chloe. Very easy ones too!!! Chloe didn't have a good morning at daycare yesterday. She was screaming when I picked her up at noon. The kind of scream when she is in pain. We took her into see Dr Meyer at 3:15. The Dr. gave us a perscription for Colace (stool softner) as needed, Pear Juice in the morning and low iron formula. So far she is doing well. She went poopy this morning!!! Josh and I never thought we would be so excited to see poop. The Dr said it more than likely is her formula and that it is VERY common. If this doesn't take care of her, we can have more tests done. But it doesn't sound like we will need to do that. Otherwise things are going well. Josh is building a waterfall in the back yard. As alwasy he has to find a project to keep him busy. Work is going well, but it is stressful being away from my baby girl all day! I cherish the night time and the weekends with her. 8-14-06 Had a great party for Grandma this weekend! Lots of family and friends came to help celebrate! Chloe has her Physical Therapy session today. Hope it goes well. After that we are going to the store to buy Gentelease again for her. She still is not going #2 as much as she should and the right way. Hopefully that will work again for her. She was a good girl all weekend for us. Last night we had a Ribfest at Great Grandma Shirley's. The food was excellent!!! Ribs, Corn on the Cob, Potatoe Salad, Tomatoes, Cucumber Salad, etc. Just like summer should be. 8-11-06 Chloe was such a good girl at the fair. But she didn't have a good day yesterday. Josh called me at 11 and said she had been crying for 2-3 hours. I went home to calm both of them down. She ate a bottle and I got her to sleep. She slept for 4 hours. Had another crying spell late afternoon. She seemed constipated on Wed night so I have a feeling that was her problem. She went poopy right before we left for the fair, and she was fine all night. I called the Dr and the nurse wanted me to do some stuff that I am choosing not to do. I heard from some others to use Karo syrup, so we are experimenting with that. So far, so good. No daycare again today. Josh is home this am, and Gma will help out for the afternoon. The daycare lady has an inflamed nerve in her ear. She is hoping to be up and running soon. They put her on some meds. Very stressful!!! We were at the fair last night for Grandpa Rich's Birthday. Paige got to play games and ride a few rides. Josh, Shane, Brooke, Laura and I all went on the Scrambler. I haven't been on a ride since High School, we all had a blast. We ate lots of junk "fair" food. Can't go to the fair without Mini Doughnuts. Grandpa won Chloe a puppy and Paige won her a polar bear. The boys all went to the Demos later on and us girls went back to Grandma's.
