Stories 6-8-06 Chloe's 1 Month Birthday!!! I took her into the Doctor's office to get weighed this morning and she is at 8 pounds! Chloe is starting to focus her eyes and is alot more alert to her surroundings. There is also more awake time during the day and she is sleeping at night. Josh had the day off on Thursday so mommy got to do some gardening and have some me time. He is such a good daddy! We went to my cousins jewlery party last night and he called us right as we were leaving because he was worried and he missed us. Isn't that just too cute! We will post new pictures soon!!!6-3-06 Chloe is doing very well and so are mommy and daddy! We had our shower at the Tribune yesterday and we got some great presents! Thanks to Lisa and Crystal for hosting!!! We have 1 more shower to go and that is on June 17th. This summer is flying by fast. We have our Daycare setup (right in our backyard even!) and I will be going back to work on July 31. We are waiting to hear word when Baby Wiehr will be here. Kelly started to dialate, so we are just waiting to see their new little one. Carter is going to be a great BIG brother! Hope everyone is enjoying the HOT weather and we will post some pictures as soon as we can! 5-27-06 Chloe had her 2 week Well Baby Checkup on Thursday and it went great. She is now 7 lbs. 1/2 oz. and 20 inches long. The Doctor was happy with her eating, sleeping, and diaper habits. She doesn't have to go back until 2 months, and at that time she will get her first set of shots. I am not looking forward to that. Otherwise Chloe is doing very well. Although, she is starting to mix up her days and nights. Which is fine unless she gets fussy. Mom and Dad are doing well and are so proud of our little princess! 5-21-06 We had our 1st Baby Shower yesterday! We got some great gifts from everyone that came. It was so much fun. Chloe slept right through the whole thing and was so pretty in her pink dress. She is doing so well, getting bigger everyday and looking more like Josh too. We have her 2 week Dr. apt. on Thursday so we will let you know how that goes. We also found daycare, right in our backyard!!! Everything is well on the home front! 5-15-06 Chloe is a week old!!! This morning we had a public health nurse at our house to visit. They bring goodies and checked on Chloe and myself. They also weighed her and she is already back to her birth weight! Chloe is doing very well. Her personality is starting to show. Still a sleepy baby, but mom and dad are ok with that. She has her awake times at 6:00 am and 5or 6 pm. My first Mother's Day was great! The day was very emotional (in the best way), just realizing how lucky I am to be a mother and to have a wonderful supportive husband in Josh. We got to spend the day with Gma & Gpa Jensen at church and a visit to their house, a visit to Gma & Gpa Habicht, and then dessert at Gma Connie and Gpa John's, where we also got to spend time with GrtGma Shirley and Grt Gpa Arne. Hope everyone else had as wonderful of a day as we did! We will post more pics of Chloe this week! We have taken so many already, I could own stock in batteries!
