Stories 3/13/06 We have our next Doctor's appointment on Friday at 9:45 am. Stay tuned for updates on the baby!!!2/27/06 Daddy finally got to feel baby kick. Last night the baby was so active. So Josh layed his face on my belly and the baby kept kicking him. We sat and giggled for the longest time. Josh was just beaming from ear to ear. Proud papa! 2/21/06 Heard back from the Doctor and the 3 hour test came back OK. So no need to worry about Gestational Diabetes, I was very concearned about having that. I am going to watch the things I eat even better than I was before. They only 2 major things with the Gestational Diabetes would have been that you are greater risk for having a larger baby and more complications during a natural delivery. So hopefully this was the only scare for that. Next appointment is scheduled for 3/17/06 9:45 am. We bought a new camera, so will take some pictures to update the site as soon as we get a chance to. 2/20/06 Took my 3 hour Glucose test this morning and haven't heard the results yet. The doctor is out until Tuesday, so we will update when she lets us know. 2/17/06 Had our Docotor appointment today. I have gained 8 lbs. which the doctor says is ok (that is all that I have gained so far) and the baby's heartrate was at 146 bpm. She also measured my stomach/uterus and all is good. I did have my glucose test (gestational diabetic test) which came back abnormal at 142 (she wanted it at least 140), so Monday morning I go back for a 3 hour fasting test. I am hoping that this will come back ok. Also, we went over our ultrasound from last time we were in and the baby weighed 10 oz. at that time (43 percentile, normal) and everything looks good except for they would like to do another one because baby didn't cooperate enough to get all the measurements they would like. So we will do that in about 6 weeks from now. Next checkup is scheduled for 3/17/06. Will keep you updated with the Glucose test!
