2-11-06 Went to the Hospital this morning to see a friend and co-worker of mine and her new baby! Noah Joseph Meyer was born last night at 8:18 pm via c-section. He is 7lbs. 4oz. and 19 1/2" long. Dave and Lisa are so proud of him and should be. He is healthy as can be and has a head of hair.
2/10/06 I am so excited to report that Baby Jensen's
movements are felt from the outside world! Unfortunatly Josh was in the shower when baby had the hicups last night. But the movements are more and more real, so he will get his chance very soon!!! I made Josh take a prego picture of me last night so we can update our website. Check out the belly. I feal like I gained 500 lbs. We will find out at our next appointment on 2/17/06 how much I actually gained. Bought a diaper bag last night and we got our bassinet matress in the mail on Wednesday. So the bassinet is all ready for baby. Just need to wash the sheets and have a baby!
2-8-06 23 week update! Joshua and I registered this last week at Target! It was so much fun to see all the different things we need to have and what they have out there for the little one. While we were registering we bought a sleep positioner and a cute baby gown.
Baby's movement is more noticable now. Usually when I sit and relax is when it it felt the most. Can't really get a good feel from the outside yet. I am sure it will come very soon! I have had lovely stomach muscle pains this last week. This is from my body adjusting to the little "bean" inside. Relaxing is about the only thing that makes it feel better. So I have been trying to do as little as possible.
Looking forward to our next appointment, 1/17/06. Hope everyone has a good Valentines Day!!!
1-31-06 22 week update! The baby should be looking more like a newborn and should weigh 1 pound. The lips are becoming more distinct, and the first signs of teeth are appearing as buds beneath the gum line. Baby's eyes are developed, though the iris (the colored part of the eye) still lacks pigment. Eyelids and eyebrows are in place, and the pancreas, essential for hormone production, is developing steadily.
We are set for our next Doctor appointment on February 17th. At that time I get to drink "Orange Pop" for my Glucose test. Bought my first
FUN baby thing yesterday. A Winnie the Pooh mobile with remote that lights up and plays Winnie the Pooh, Cannon in D and forest sounds. The baby's room is more ready everyday.
1/18/06
20 week update! The baby should now weigh roughly 12 ounces. Baby should be able to hear us talking and be able to listen to music. We have also registered for Pregnancy and Parenting classes for April.
I have been able to feel baby move more. We started looking for daycare and haven't found the final one yet. Need to check out everyone's contracts/policies. Wish us luck!!!
