Easter is here...can you believe that? As I sit here and update the site, it is Good Friday. I can't believe how fast anoher year is passing us by! We are staying busy, but trying to capture every moment we can and enjoy it to the fullest!
This month has been a good one, but busy all the same. Mommy turned 30, we took a Spring Break trip to FL, and now Easter is upon us. The girls will go to an Easter Egg hunt tomorrow at the church...then on Sunday we will be at Korean church with the kids there. We are in a constant state of motion!
As we end march and look to April there is lots more to come. Cali's birthday will be here before we know it. Then, all of the end of the year performances (recitals and show cases) will be here. The students at Carey will be graduating soon and our last days at Carey will follow soon after. During all this we will be packing up all of our stuff preparing for the big move (more details on the move will come soon).

Cali is doing very well. Her favorite saying is "You're FUNNY!" She is developing quite the little sense of hummor and loves to laugh! It seems like she is breaking through her shell a little more every day and we never know what to expect from her. She is talking up a storm and making sure she is heard! She is also developing quite the little sneaky streak! She is the queen of hiding things behind her back. When asked what she has she will look around and say "I not see anything" or she will hide in a corner covering eyes and say "You not see me!" I love it!!!
As sneaky as she is, she is still a sweet heart! She is a big helper and wants to make sure everyone is ok. She is a little nurse and will try to take care of anyone not feeling well. She is also Mommy's little helper. She loves to vaccuum with me and has her own little rags that she gets to help me dust. She gets mad if I do the laundry without her and is starting to love helping with the dishes. My prayer is that she never looses this love of helping me clean, lol!
Another phrase she has picked up is "one minute." I must say it way too much, because she says it all the time now, lol! She loves that phrase when it comes to bath time, bed time, and dinner time. She will look up at me and hold her fingers up and say "Mommy, just ONE minute!" Today she pulled a new one out though...she looked at me and said "I need TWO one minutes." LOL! It craked me up! I love this little girl!!
EIGHT years old and has her beam and floor rountine down!!!
Misa is growing up into such a little lady! I feel like I blinked and I am looking at a soon to be pre-teen! She went to her first lock in a few weeks ago and absolutely loved every minute of it! She is all about Hannah Montana, Jonas Brothers, and the Naked Brothers Band. She loves to talk on the phone and write letters to her friends and cousins. Don't get me wrong...she still loves to pretend and play barbies or baby dolls with Cali. She still loves to draw and read. She has an imagination that I would kill for! She is starting to sit on that line between a little girl and a big girl. She still enjoys the things she used to, but she is starting to enjoy other activities that used to be boring, lol! In so many ways I am excited to see the little lady that she is growing into...but in other ways it breaks my heart to let go of my little girl and let her grow up even more!
Melisa lives, breaths, eats and sleeps gymnastics. For every 10 steps she takes in a day she does 1 cartwheel, round off, or headstand. She absolutely loves the sport! She has mastered her floor routine and her beam. She is now taking 3 hours a week and working hard to do her best! I recently found out that the most of the other girls in pre-team have been in gym for years! Melisa is one of the few first year girls. There is only one girl younger than her...all the others are older by 2 or 3 years. She looks so small out there, but then gets up and does an absolutely amazing job! She blows me away every week. Her old coach moved and since she lost that coach her bar routine has gone down some, but she is practicing hard and getting back to it. I can't wait to see how far she goes in gymnastics!
School is going well and we only have a few more months of 3rd grade! Her grades are still all A's with 1 or 2 B's. She is absolutely in love with science, history and health. Math is her least favorite subject, but she pushes through and does a great job with it...she has even kept an A average in it. She actually wrote her first book report this past week and did a great job. She is already trying to decide what book she wants to read for her next report! I don't even want to think about that fact that she only has 2 more years in elementary school! She is really growing up too fast!!!
Happy Birthday to all our loved ones with March Birthdays! I can't think of anyone in the family with a birthday in March, but I am sure there are plenty! So forgive me if brain just stopped working and I didn't mention you by name! I hope you all have a great day!
