We would like to introduce you to our son...Syrin Michael Kalel McKinney!
Syrin was born at Gwinnett Medical Hospital on February 9, 2009 at 10:21am. Weighing in at 8lbs and 11 oz and 20.25 inches long...he is our bundle of joy! Thank you for stopping in to check on us. Please check out all the pictures and stories...we hope to have more for you in the coming months!

July 16 - Ok...so it has been a long time since the last post...sorry. A lot of growing has occurred in the last couple months. Syrin is about 23 weeks old now (almost 6 months old). He is recently eating real food (peas, carrots, prunes, rice, etc) and of course, loving it. He can somewhat sit up on his own...if no one distracts him too...
Hello everyone! It is time for another baby update (it has been 4 weeks since the last one). So, Syrin is 10 weeks old now and he has bravely been through two rounds of shots (ouch!). The more interesting thing is that he is now at 15lbs 2 oz....yep, another 4 weeks...another 2 lbs!! I am not a doctor (though I play one on TV), but I think ...
Ok - so as of yesterday (March 23, 2009) Syrin is 6 weeks old. I am not sure what that usually means with babies and their growth, but this guy is at 13 lbs (that is 4lbs and 5oz greater than his birth weight)! He has the normal chubby cheeks and thighs, but he is really not fat...just getting bigger! He has also grown an additional 2.5 i...

Wow! Thanks for sharing and I am so happy for all of you. It was just yesterday that I was Nanny to Michael wasn't it? Oh to hold Syrin and cuddle and coo.
