Almost 18 months old!! Our wee one is growing so quick, and she is into EVERYTHING.
Walking, talking and just being an amazing baby to be around.

Emilee has made a few trips back home to visit with Grandma while Brian and I dealt with some of my health issues and prepared the house to be put on the market. She had a great time with grandpa and grandma, loved playing outside and hanging out with uncle Ben!

She is saying mama, daddy, blowing kisses, giving high fives, using some sign language and learning more and more each day.
Thank you for watching her grow!

We have a ONE YEAR OLD!!! Ms. Emilee is walking/running pretty much everywhere. She is hauling butt up and down the hallway and all over the place. She is talking (or baby speaking) quite a bit. She is saying Mama and Dada, and Hi OVER AND OVER again!!

She is growing like a weed is almost 27#s oops, and eating well, sleeping like a champ and just being a great baby.

Almost a year old!!! We will be 11 months old next week. :)

Ms. Emilee is starting to walk, taking about 4-5 steps and than sitting down after she realizes she is walking :) ha.

She also has begun saying Mama, she will look over to me and jabber mamamamama bababab mamama. Too cute.

We used the last of our formula last week and currently are drinking big girl milk and loving it. The new photo attached is of her eating pasta, WHAT a mess.

She is pointing, clapping and just being a great baby. We are SO blessed.

We are 10 months old!!! We recently had our doctor's appointment where we learned Ms. Emilee is topping the charts and tipping the scales (oops) she was 28-29inches long, and 25.25#s OMG!!!! She is adorable but the girl can eat!! She loves her Baba.

She is saying a few words, Baba, Da (for Daddy) and Goog (which happens to be dog) no Mama's yet :(, but I am sure she will get there.

We went from crawling one day to pulling up the next, and now she is crusing on all of tables etc.... She is on the move.

She can stand on her own and I feel we are probably only about a month away from her walking.

In 2 months she will be a year old. Where does the time go?

I miss my baby baby for sure. She is a big girl now (in her own mind), stubborn like her momma, cute as heck and a little ham.

We love her more than life itself.

Just a quick note to update everyone!!!

Ms. Emilee had  her 6 month appointment last week and she is 20#s and 26inches long!

The doctor said she is growing great, is very curious and is adorable. :)

We attended a wedding back home in MI last weekend where she got to visit with Grandpa's side of the family and friends. She did great traveling with us and was happy to meet everyone.

She was SO excited to be home.

6 Months!! We Hit the 6 Month Mark!!

My Stinky is 6 months old today.

She is attempting to crawl, rolling over from pretty much every direction now and talking a lot. She has said Da but no Mama's yet :( Still working on it.

We have an appointment for her tomorrow and I will edit with the details of her height and weight for sure.

She is enjoying solids, she loves sweet potatoes although at first hated them. Daddy has been guilty of giving her ice cream and she LOVES it. Just a little bit here and there but I can tell she is going to be a sweets kind of girl.

She is watching pretty much every one eat now. When I am eating toast she stares at me. I have given her a little of the sugarfree jam I use and of course she loves that too.

Ms. Emilee is the center of my world I never thought I would be a good mom, or that I would want to be this involved in poop, spit-up, bath time, bed time etc. Even when I have had the worst day she brings me so much joy.

Thank you all for looking and sharing in our daughters life.

We have hit the 5 month mark and we are still healthy, happy and growing like we should be. Emilee is *talking* a lot more these days, growling at everyone and everything and laughing when she thinks something is funny :). She is rolling over and learning how to scoot all around her crib and on the floor. She is trying like MAD to crawl but her little belly gets in the way TOO CUTE.

She was sleeping through the night like a champ but between teething and her mind going a millon miles a minute we are back to getting up once a night to feed :( We aren't getting a lot of sleep that is for sure.

We love and miss everyone. Thanks for looking.

Adventures in teething!!

So Miss Emilee (aka Stinky) has begun teething. She is chewing on everything and grinding her poor little nose on everything she can find. Her dolly, blankie, burp clothes and toys have all become fair game!

It feels like she will have a few within a week or so.

We made our first road trip with the wee one over the 4th of July weekend. It was a long trip (12 hours) and for the most part she was a champ. She slept a lot of the trip but towards the end she was a little bit on the antsy side, I can say the same for Brian and I. We were all ready to be home!!

She is laughing more and more, and making us laugh too :) She is a beautiful <chubby> baby and everyone seems to fall in love with her.

She sure enjoyed her time with Grandma and Grandpa Ream she misses them very much. She also got to meet the rest of her family (my side) and even went to *see* my Dad.

We will keep you posted. We love and miss everyone lots.

Baby Emilee is growing like a weed. She had her 3 month birthday on the 18th and is doing really well. She is smiling and laughing quite a bit these days and just getting cuter as the time ticks by.

She has begun the dreadful witching hour on some days where she just cries the entire time and cannot be comforted. I have tried pretty much everything and between Grandma, Brian and I we just find holding her and trying to soothe her works best. Eventually she calms down and is back to her normal happy baby self.

She is losing some of her baby hair and hopefully will be a cue ball for awhile nothing better than a fat, bald baby. She has the chubby part working for her!

I adore her, and I was worried that is no lie. My pregnancy was so complicated but at the end of the day she is the one person who brings me so much joy. I love being her mom.

Ms Emilee's Birth Story (Minus the icky parts!)

I went for an appointment March 14th and was told that I should have a baby within 48 hours due to the progess I was making on my own but if not that I would be induced on St. Patricks Day. I was to call the hospital at X time to get in and go from there. When we called we were unable to go than due to Kennestone not having a room for us. That delayed us a few hours but by 9pm we were in a room and they were about to break my water to see I would progress further on my own.

I had told Brian on the way I wasn't sure I could do this and I was really sure I didn't want to be a Mom (jitters I suppose) My pregnancy was awful and I was just over being pregnant all together.

After my water was broken my contractions started, 2 mins apart, than 1, and than constant. I was given on Epidural and it didn't *cure* the issues I was having and was given another block. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Sweet freedom. I am sorry there is no worse pain than freaking contractions.

When it was time to push, I did so for about 20 mins and our baby girl arrived. I was so worried with all that happened something would be wrong with her and she was perfect. So perfect. She had a few breathing/lung issues so she stayed in NICU the first night and than was brought down to us later that day.

6 hours total labor for a first baby?!?! NOT BAD!

That night I spent it with her alone. She was in my room, everyone had gone home and I got to sleep next to her. I instantly fell in love with her and it has just gotten stronger since.

We did have to leave her over night one night since she was a bit jaundice and it was the worst night ever.

Once she came home she has been thriving :) We love her so much.

Our babygirl is growing quickly.

She is teething at the moment chewing on her hand quite often and over all just giving us lots to look forward to.

She is *playing* a lot more often and learning to coo :) Uncle PJ bought her a mat that she can lay on with toys hanging from an arch above her and she laughs, coos and squeals when she sees herself in the mirror.

She is sleeping through the night (according to the baby books UGH) which is 5-6 hours per night, getting up once to feed and to play with Daddy (poor guy).

For the most part she is a happy camper and cannot wait to meet all of her family and friends.

She ADORES Grandma & Grandpa , Uncle Ben, Uncle Joe and Aunt Jillian, and recently met Uncle PJ and thinks he is pretty awesome too.

:)

At our last doctor's appointment she was up over 12#s and has gotten a bit longer too. She is eating like a champ, and doing her baby thing!
