I'm still trying to decide what to do about family pictures. The cut off for having them by Christmas is the 12th but if things go as planned with this pregnancy they are inducing me on the 10th which means I'll still be in the hospital on the 12th. I'm not crazy about taking family pictures being as big pregnant as I am so we may just do Hunter in the Christmas card this year. We'll have to see. One thing Sarah does before pictures is she gives the kids a few sips of Mt. Dew and they are the happiest little kids ever. Just make sure you do it about 10 minutes or so before pictures. When she first told me about that I was so shocked but we did pictures with Hunter and her kids and they were so happy after just a few sips. It's something to try maybe!!! Can't wait to see them. The bad news is that Brooklyn is staying with the Grandparents. I don't have the best advice but I think every little boy is different. If Beau is independent he will want to choose when he is ready. That is how Haakon was. I completely just gave up trying to force him to do something he did not want to do even though I knew he was so able to do it if only he wanted to. Then, out of the blue he said he wanted to wear underwear and not a diaper. That is all it took. Keep the underwear visable and when he wants to wear them he will. You guys have taught him. He totally knows what to do. Beau is just waiting for the day he wants to give up diapers and wear underwear. Then perhaps after he is all trained he too will pee on your couch just for the fun of it and request a shower right before bed because you did not let him take a long enough bath. Oh the joys of pee! -love, Rebekah & Haakon Hey Kels, Hunter does the same thing Beau does when I try to put him on the potty. I can't believe Noah is already potty trained. Hunter wants nothing to do with it right now. I've tried the candy thing, the bribing with toys, etc. He just doesn't want to yet. My mom said she had 7 boys and none of them potty trained before they were 3 so maybe Beau just isn't ready yet. I'll be praying for you that it goes better. I so badly wanted Hunter to be potty trained before this baby came but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. Oh well, life goes on. Well good luck and I hope things go better. I can't believe your brave enough to cut Beau's hair yourself. I wouldn't even attempt to cut Hunter's myself. It's hard taking him to the barber too but at least they know what their doing. I wouldn't know where to start to get it looking somewhat normal. You'd have to shave him bald after I was done I think. Well it looks great. You did a really good job. It sure is fall here. It has been in the 50's and 60's during the day and the other day there was frost on my windshield when I went outside. I hope the snow doesn't come for a while yet. I'm not looking forward to that yet. I love the fall though. It is so beautiful with the leaves changing colors and the crops being harvested. I just love this time of year. I bought Apples and Spice Febreze air freshener and I spray it about ever other day. It makes my house smell just like fall. I had someone say it smelled like a Hallmark store. Anyhow nothing like the smell of apples and spice this time of year. I'm going to have to get the cider going soon. Becca said they were coming the end of October. That will be so much fun. I wish we could come too!!! Maybe someother time. Well now that I've written half a book I will let you go and have the rest of your day.
