Today we are in our final stages of packing and moving! Tonight Tim has some buddies coming over with their trucks and trailors to help us move a good portion of our stuff to the new house. We are closing tomorrow on both houses and it is going to be one very busy day! I never realized how difficult it is to perfectly time all this moving stuff! 3 families are going to be moving tomorrow and we are right in the middle of it all. Pray that everything goes smoothly and we'll have time to get everything done before we have to go to the closings. Also pray that the truck guys will be able to deliver our POD somewhere at the new house and not have to haul it back to their warehouse! I guess we might have some problems because of all the trees and some power lines. That would really stink to have to rent a U-haul to go unload the POD somewhere and then bring it back to the house. Oh my, so many things to worry about but we'll just have to pray that God takes care of it all for us. I think it's safe to say that we're not planning on moving again any time soon!
Well it is a beautiful day here today! Not too hot, with a nice breeze. I better lay Beau down for a nap so I can take him outside to play when he wakes up.
This will probably be my last website update for a while. Tonight and tomorrow are going to be crazy and I'm not sure how long it will take to get the internet hooked up at the new house. So, please be praying for us and I'll post some pictures and stories of the move as soon as I can!

Ode to the Terrible Two's.....

Terrible two's why must you torment me so??
Why have you taken over my child?
Thy presence is NOT welcome here
So stop making him so wild!

A tantrum here, a melt down there,
Your work is very impressive!
Now return to me my innocent boy
And stop making him so obsessive!

I do not have an ounce of patience to spare
I have used it all up on my son
So pack your bags and leave us alone
Your work in our house is done!

With one more day like this one
My hair will be all pulled out
I'd like to lock myself in a room
to scream and kick and shout

Now before I go, just one more thing
So listen to what I say
Our parting will not be long enough
We'll meet again at our youngest's next birthday!

Happy 4th of July everybody! I am so thankful to be a citizen of the United States of America! I am grateful to God for allowing us to live in this country and to raise our family here.  May blessings  pour down over all our brave troops! Thank you to all who are serving and have served for our country! May we never forget why we have freedom! I hope everyone finds themselves "Proud to be an American" today!

A little funny story.....
Yesterday morning at around 6:45, a friend of ours dropped off their little boy, Aiden, for me to watch for the day. When Molly heard them come in, she started barking and scratching at the door to come and see who was here. We were trying to be quiet so we wouldn't wake up the boys, but all of the sudden Beau yelled out from his room, "BE QUIET!!"
He has been cracking us up lately with all the things that come out of his mouth! He says so many sentences now. Some of the time he doesn't quite get the words right but we know what he means. For instance, when he's trying to say he doesn't want something, he says, "I don't have it". Instead of, "I don't want it". Also, when we're getting him dressed and we have his clothes picked out for him, if he doesn't want to wear a certain shirt or shorts, he says, "No, that doesn't work." :)
Yesterday while I was giving violin lessons, he yelled over to me in my music room, "Hey Babe!" I guess maybe Tim and I should start calling each other "Mommy" and "Daddy" instead of "Babe"! :)
His most common sentence right now is, "No baby, Do NOT do that anymore, OK????

Last night we took Jud out for dinner and icecream for his birthday. Since he really didn't have much say in where we went, Tim picked PF Chang's. It was great and we had lots of fun. Beau like jumping on the big round booth and Judson liked playing with the chopsticks.

We had a productive day today! We got our bedroom all packed up and ready. Who knew we had so many clothes? And to think I went through our closets and dressers not that long ago and got rid of tons of stuff! One good thing about moving is that you really get to see how much stuff you have and you have a chance to get rid of it before you just transport it to your new house!

p.s hey guys I'm so sorry I don't know why every time I update this site, it sends everybody about 20 e-mails! If you are all getting them, I'm sorry! It must be some kind of glitch on the website's end.

Speaking of that new grandson, Congratulations to Rick and Janelle Lott on the birth of their first baby boy, Isaiah William. Now they have 3 beautiful children!

What a day, where do I start? Well this morning/afternoon I had to go wake the boys up because they were such sleepy heads! I woke Judson up at 12:00 and I woke Beau up at 12:30! I was getting worried about them since I hadn't heard them at all in their rooms. They were both pretty lethargic all day. Beau perked up towards the end of the day, but poor Jud was just not himself at all. They both felt a little warm and clammy. I wonder if Tim caught something on an airplane and brought it home? We will have to load them up with vitamins so they can knock this bug right out of their system. I hate that they were sick today but it was almost a blessing in disguise. Last night I was awake all night with a bad gallbladder attack. They are back! I was so bummed. I was enjoying finally being able to eat whatever I wanted again. Anyways, I finally fell alseep at around 5:00 this morning so I got to sleep for a few hours since the boys slept in so much.

Our house is starting to look a little different since all our pictures and things are off the walls. We have already packed quite a bit but still have quite a bit left to go! We rented a POD so we can take our time packing things up and not have to be stressed out trying to get it all done at the last second. Our closing dates on both houses are probably going to be on the same day, so we'll probably have to move our stuff the morning before we close.

P.S Judson will be 1 year old in 3 days!! I can't believe it, our baby boy is almost 1! I think we're going to wait till we get moved to have his 1st birthday party. There's just too much going on right now and I'm pretty sure he won't care! Maybe we'll make it a pool party. :)

Happy Father's Day to all the daddy's out there! If I may just take a second and brag on the 3 most wonderful daddies on earth! ( In my opinion ) First my husband, I think he is an amazing dad and the boys sure have him wrapped around their little fingers! He is so great with them! I love how involved he is with them and never hesitates to get down on the floor and have some good boy play time. I could never tell him enough how much I appreciate him and the great job he does with the boys! Then me and Tim's dads, they were wonderful father's growing up, and now they are wonderful grandfathers! It is such a treasure to watch them with our children and to see the love they have for them.

We love and appreciate our dads!

My parents made it in to Knoxville safely last night! It was a long day of traveling for Tim though! Not to mention a little stressful at times! But, thankfully they are here and now we can enjoy a week of vacation. We went out to eat at a Japenese place called Wasabi for lunch today. The kids enjoyed watching the chef cook our food right in front of us.

I will have to remember to take the camera with us wherever we go this week so I can hopefully catch some good picture moments.

Hope everyone has a fabulous Father's Day!

We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Grandpa and Grandma Christensen on Saturday! They are coming to visit us here for a week! We will have lots of fun staying at a cabin in the mountains, going shopping, and going to see the house we're buying. I can't believe it's been almost a year since they were here last when Judson was born! That means our baby is almost 1 year old! Wow, it's such a cliche, but time really does fly!

There has been so much going on here lately! We have been super busy getting all this house stuff done, and right now, Tim is at the airport getting his training classes done so he will hopefully be able to fly and go get my parents on Saturday. He will be working at the airport one day a week and in return, he gets free flights! The Lord knew we needed to see our family more often! I guess this will help us stay in touch and see each other more even though we're so far away!

MORE GOOD NEWS!!!

We found out tonight that the offer we put on a house yesterday was accepted! We also found out that the home inspection that was done on our house came out free and clear and the buyer did not ask for any price reduction from the sale price of our house.

We really love the house we're going to be getting. It's older home that was built in 1961 and it's a little bit quirky in a good way. I think it's got some character and I'm going to have lots of fun painting and adding our own touch to everything. The kitchen needs a little updating but hopefully we can find some good ideas to make it look cute without spending a lot of money! Another bonus is that it comes with a big pool! It's an above ground pool but it's a big rectangle and when you walk out on the deck, it really looks like an inground pool. We will be doing a couple more precautionary things to it to make sure it's as safe as possible for the boys. We're looking forward to getting lots of use out of it during these hot summer months! If you would continue to pray that everything else goes smoothly, like with closing dates and moving, and all that fun stuff, that would be great! We're supposed to close on our house the same day we close on the new house so I'm not sure how all that will work out, but hopefully it will all go smoothly.

Part 11..... Ok, as promised, here are some new pictures. Sorry it took so long! I almost didn't get them on here because we found out we're having our home inspection done tomorrow and there's some things I probably need to do before they come. So, if you have a minute, pray that the inspection goes well and the buyer's don't back out or anything.

GOOD NEWS!! We accepted an offer on our house last night! Yay! We were starting to wonder when it was going to sell since it's been on the market for 6 weeks now. Our agent said that there are over 2,000 more homes on the market in Knoxville than there were this time last year! Houses have been dropping their prices left and right! So, if anyone wants to move here, now is a great time! :) It's definetly a buyer's market.

Our agent called us on Saturday and said that someone was going to come and see the house Sunday morning at 10:00. So, we got the house all ready Saturday night since Sunday mornings are usually a little crazy trying to get out the door on time for church. Sunday morning we opened the door to Beau's room to go wake him up and we just about got knocked over by the smell of a terribly dirty diaper! ( Not a very welcoming smell for visitors!) So, we were opening all the windows and febreezing his whole room trying to air out the house. Anyways, I guess it didn't bother the people too much because they made an offer! Now we just have to find the perfect house to move to.

It's a little sad thinking about moving out of this house! There's not a corner of this place that we havn't touched! Hopefully the new owners will love it as much as we have.

I'm so sorry I still haven't put any new pictures on here! I have about 20 new ones sitting in my camera. I'm just going to make myself get them on here tonight after the boys go to bed. Love you all!

I just had to write down that Judson finally said "Ma Ma" today! He has been saying "Da Da" for many months now along with, La La and other noises, but he finally just said Ma ma! Yay!

Both boys slept in late this morning! Judson slept till about 10:30 and Beau slept till 11:30!! Isn't that crazy? They are both feeling well but I guess they got really tired out playing in the nursery last night or something! Anyways, that was nice! I got to get a shower and clean up the house before they even woke up.

Beau has been such a good little boy today! He's been so sweet and we had fun playing together while Jud took his nap. I LOVE days like this! They make it all worth while.

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!!!!!

I hope everyone had a fabulous and relaxing day spent with loved ones! We had some friends over and Tim grilled some great food! We also had fun doing a game on the x-box called "dance revolution". It was hilarious watching the guys try to do these dance steps on this little floor mat thing. They got much better as the night went on though! :) I even had fun trying it, but don't do it unless you are prepared to look stupid! Dan Schatz brought silly string and sprayed everyone when he opened the front door to let them in!

We had a great day and I got a few pictures here and there, nothing great but I'll try to get them on here in the next day or two.

Love you all! We miss all our friends and family from back home so if anyone has some spare cash laying around, fly down here and see us! :)

Hey Guys! I finally figured out how to put a little video on here! I still don't quite have the hang of it and I'm not sure how to title it or anything but just push the play button to view it.

Yesterday was our 4th wedding anniversary! 4 years already, I can't believe it! It seems more like 2. We've really been through alot in these last 4 years. It's been great though and I pray the Lord will give us many many more years together!

I hope all the mommy's had a fabulous day yesterday! I am so thankful for my beautiful mother! I look up to her and respect her in so many ways! I have never known a kinder, sweeter, more precious woman in all the world! Love you Mom!

Yeserday, we thought it would be fun to go out to eat for dinner. We waited a few hours after church to let the "mother's day crowd" die down a little bit. (and also to give the kids a chance to nap first!) We headed out the door at about 4:00 and picked this resteraunt called Calhoun's. They had wonderful food and we didn't have to wait even a minute to be seated which was very nice! Judson absolutely loves to get his hands on everything and anything in his reach! Even if it's not in his reach, he will squirm and wiggle until he can reach it. Well, he got a hold of my very full glass of coke and dumped it all over himself and the floor. The cold ice was quite a shock to him and he was sitting in a pool of coke. Our waitor was very understanding and cleaned it up for us right away. I moved my glass to make sure there was no way that he could get it again but this time it was too close to Beau! He bumped it when he was reaching for something and over it went again. Again our waitor came to the rescue and brought us more towels. I was wearing a white skirt and a white shirt and I can't believe I managed to escape both spills. We had to go straight to church after that so there wouldn't have been time to change and I had to play a solo last night too. Luckily, I had packed an extra outfit for Judson and changed him out of his coke soaked clothes when we got to the nursery. Ufda! I felt bad for our waitor. When we left, there was silverware, cheerios, pretzels, ice, and coke all over the floor. Now I remember why we don't take the kids out very often. :) They both behaved very well the whole time though. It was a fun Mother's Day time with the family. The table next to us was getting quite a kick out of our dinner experience. One guy even jumped up and grabbed Judson out of his high chair when he spilled my pop. That was sweet of him.

Happy Cinco De Mayo everybody! You know this could've been a really fun excuse to have a bright and fun fiesta party! Maybe next year we'll plan a little something complete with sombreros and churros!

Last night we took the boys to the mall. We didn't really have any plans except to just get them out of the house for a little bit. Beau found tons of intersting things there. He loved the bridge going over the water with all the coins in it, the "kiddie" rides, and of course all the steps! It is a great place to go if you want him to be entertained but don't plan to get any leisurely shopping done! :) I did manage to split from Tim and Beau for a little bit while me and Jud found some cute stuff at Gymboree.

Beau got a haircut tonight. He was not too thrilled with that! It took a while and he let out many tears but we got it done and he looks super cute. It's a good thing I can cut his hair at home because he would not have given a hairdresser an easy time!

I am still on my "gallbladder diet". It is no fun but has turned out to be pretty good because now I'm down in the 120's again like I was when I went to college! I do really miss chocolate though! Also, french fries, icecream, pizza, and cheese! Mmmmm.... I will just think about it and maybe that will fulfill my craving! :)

I think I have contracted pink eye. This morning I woke up and I could not open my eye! It was stuck shut and after I got it open, I realized it was about half the size of my right eye and all swollen and red. Tim says it looks like I got punched in the eye. One of my violin students had it a couple weeks ago but I can't figure out how I might've caught it from her. Oh well.

Well, we found out today that the 3rd offer we put on a house, was once again denied. 3 different houses, 3 different offers and still no luck. It seems that there is noone that is willing to take a contingency clause for us to sell our house first. This last house that we put an offer on was really neat and different. We loved it but I guess it once again must not have been the right house for us. We would really appreciate your prayers for us to sell our house quickly. If we can sell it before they get another offer that would be great.

Happy Birthday Auntie Niki! We hope your day is as fabulous, as sweet, and as beautiful as you are!

Sunday was "Baby Day" at church. All the families with children ages 3 and under got to parade across the big platform and have their pictures taken with Pastor and Mrs. Sexton. The boys had both decided they wanted to get up at around 6:00 Sunday morning! Not a good morning to get up early. By the time we got to go have our picture taken, Beau was ready for a nap!

In our auditorium, there are lots of steps leading up to the platform. As we were standing in the long line of parents and babies, we finally made it into the auditorium and Beau spotted the steps! All he wanted to do was to get down and play on the steps! Tim was holding Beau and Beau kept saying, "Down!, Big Boy!, Steps!, Walk!" Tim was trying everything to get him to forget about the steps so he told Beau if he was good that he would get him some chicken nuggets. Bad idea! Then Beau started saying, "Nuggets!!" As we were making our way down the other side of the platform after greeting Pastor, we were passing by where all the orchestra players were sitting and Beau was saying, "Nuggets!" "Bu-Bye" "See ya later!" It was so funny, everyone in the orchestra started laughing!
