Stories 11/20/06 Today we are getting the boys' Christmas pictures taken. I am so worried about how Beau is going to be! Last time he was soooo naughty! Hopefully he will be sweet and cooperate today! I could use your prayers around 2:30 this afternoon! Judson started rolling over a couple days ago. He is such a sweetheart. Every morning when I go in his room to get him, he has rolled from his tummy to his back and he smiles and coos when he sees me. At his 4 month checkup he weighed 15 lbs. 15 oz. Now in about a week, he will be 5 months old already. I bet he's about 16 1/2 lbs. now. We are kind of looking forward to a nice quiet Thanksgiving here at the house. We will have our own little dinner and then get to bed early because at the crack of dawn, we are going shopping like all the other crazy people that get up that early to go shopping! Hope everyone has a lovely Thanksgiving! Oh yeah, it snowed here today! Yay! :) 10/25/06 Yesterday Beau had "poop" for lunch! Don't worry Grandma and Gramee he didn't really eat poop, that's how he says "soup"! Last night at dinner, we set a black olive on Beau's tray and he picked it up and said, "olive"! Then he ate it and opened his mouth and pointed inside, and said "olive". We were laughing because he hasn't seen a black olive or heard the word olive for at least a week or two but he sure knew what it was! He loves them! Beau has been unusually sweet the past couple days! He's been behaving so well and hardly getting upset over anything! I think maybe he's glad to be home and enjoys the quiet days just playing with me, Judson, and his favorite toys. He's had alot of adventures recently with traveling to PA, and then to MN all in a couple weeks. Beau is also becoming Mr. Independent. He eats everything by himself now with his own silverware and does really well at not dripping or spilling! I think he was probably ready to do that a while ago but I just didnt realize that he was! He is growing so fast and shows me how smart he is every day with things that he does. His newest words are ...mower, olive, and yellow. Judson is doing well too. He is such a chub! He laughs so hard and enjoys playing in his johnny jump up and being talked to!
10/14/06 It is so good to have our "Bubba" back home! We missed him so much! We met Gramee and Grampee Lott half way in West Virginia and picked him up last night. He was taken such good care of up there in PA! Thank you everybody who watched him for us while we were gone! 10/12/06 Judson and I had a wonderful time visiting all our family and friends in Minnesota. We made a very last minute flight up there to spend some precious time with Grandpa Christensen before he went home to be with the Lord. Grandpa got to meet his newest great grandson and even held him for a minute. Today he got to meet his great grandaughter Belle. Our hearts ache for him but someday we will see him again in Heaven. We sent Beau up to Pennsylvania to stay with Grampee and Gramee Lott and Uncle Brian and Aunt Niki. I know he is having a fabulous time but we are soooo excited to get him back tomorrow! This was my first time being away from Beau! We miss him and can't wait to squeeze him and give him kisses! 9/27/06 It's safe to say that Thomas the train is still Beau's very favorite thing! Although hot wheels and matchbox cars come in at a close 2nd. Every day Beau finds something to push around on his Thomas the train. Usually it is his favorite puppy or his sippy cup but today he found 4 bottles of my nailpolish and pushed them all around the house. This past Sunday morning we were getting Beau dressed for church and Tim told Beau that he looked like he was ready to go golfing in his little shorts and vest and Beau looked at us and said "Golf" like he had been saying it for years. It was just really funny because we had never heard him say that before. Judson is officially sleeping through every night and in his own room! Yay! 9/23/06 Hey Everybody!!! I hope you haven't forgotten about us! I'm so sorry we haven't been able to get new pictures of the boys on here!!! Tim and I have been computer-less since Jan. or Feb. when our computer crashed! I am using a friends laptop right now to put a little update on our site. We have ordered our own computer though and it should be here any day now. So, keep checking up on the site because we should be putting new pics on here very soon! Well, the boys are doing great! Beau is learning to love his little brother and Judson sure thinks Beau is pretty neat! They are both growing so fast! I was looking back at all the pictures on here of Beau and we can't believe how much he's changed since the last pictures we put on here! It will be fun to get some pictures of Judson on here and then you can see how much he looks like Beau did at his age! Beau is talking so much now. He tries to say everything we tell him to say. Sometimes it doesn't come out to clear but he sure tries! I think his favorite words to say lately are "truck" and "Molly". Poor Molly, the only attention she gets around here is from Beau! :) He loves her. Judson is all smiles and giggles. His favorite thing is to just be talked to. He eats up attention and gets sad when we have to put him down. He is pretty much sleeping through every night now although we notice he sleeps much better in our room! We are going to try really hard in the next couple weeks to get him used to his own room. I think he can tell it smells different or something! We miss and love you all so much! 2/14/06 Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!!! We are sending you all happy thoughts of chocolate, pretty flowers, and lots and lots of love! Beau has had a pretty good Valentine's Day so far. He has only managed to have one big boo boo today! He fell and hit his mouth really hard and his upper lip swelled up instantly! It is a little better now! Hopefully it will be back to normal really soon so we can get his 1 year pictures taken!
Today is also Molly's birthday! She turned 2 years old today! Poor dog has not had any attention today! I know Grampee Lott will make up for that when he comes to visit on Friday with Gramee! We are looking forward to it! 2/09/06 Well, Beau really wanted nothing to do with his birthday cake yesterday! Poor little guy is getting sick and when we tried to give him his cake, he was overly tired from lack of birthday naps! Last night it snowed here in Knoxville! That was neat because last year it snowed big pretty snowflakes the day we brought him home from the hospital! I took some pictures of the snow today but I waited too long because it has already started to melt. :( This morning when we woke up, everything was so pretty and white! I wish I could let Beau play in it but he does not have any snowpants and it probably wouldn't be smart to let him play in it when he already has a cold! Well, now we are looking forward to his party! Maybe we will try icecream cake for that day! We will also make sure he is rested up! 2/08/06 Noooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!! Our baby is not a baby anymore! He is now entering the toddler stage! I was so excited for his birthday to come and now that it's here, I'm sad that he's a whole year old already! Well, this morning Beau opened his first present, and played (gently) with some balloons. :) I just wanted to keep everyone updated on how his birthday is going! I will make him a cake and post some cake pictures later! We kind of feel bad that today is not more exciting for him, but we will make up for it on the 18th! Love to you all and thank you so much for his sweet birthday messages! I will get him on my lap later and read every message to him!
2/07/06 Yaaayy! Steeler's won the Superbowl!! What a fun night that was! There was lots of commotion and after it was all over, we were left with a broken futon, a mile high pile of dirty dishes, and plenty of cheerios (from the kids) strewn all around! But I guess it was worth it since they won! Tomorrow is Beau's big day! His very 1st birthday! Tim and I were saying how it seems like this has been one of the longest years but at the same time, the fastest too! We are looking forward to his party! That will be the fun day! 2/02/06 Well, it looks like Beau is going to have a little brother! We are having another little boy! I better put away my china in a couple years cuz these boys are going to be tearing the house up! I hope they will be best friends. Well, everything went great at the doctor's appt. His heartbeat was 165 and we saw him moving his little arms and legs around on the ultrasound. You know if I went by old wives tales to determine what this baby was going to be, everything would've said it was a girl! I guess you never can tell! We are excited. We're looking forward to ball games and pizza parties with the boys and their friends! 1/30/06 It's hard to believe that our little Belle would be 2 years old today. We took Beau with us to visit her gravesite and although he didn't realize what was going on, he will never know how much he means to us and how much we cherish every day with him. Life is so precious and we are so thankful that Beau is here with us. On a happier note, we are anxiously awaiting Beau's 1st birthday and this Thursday when we find out the sex of the baby. Last night I had a dream that it was a boy. But, I don't think we should put much merit into my dreams because when I was pregnant with Beau, I dreamed that he was a pink kitten! I am ready to know if it is a boy or a girl that is causing this incredibly annoying pregnancy rash! My doctor says that it will go away after I have the baby! That's comforting. :) Well, it is late and I better add some new pictures on here before it reaches midnight! 1/18/06 Beau has become extremely picky with what he eats! Lately if I can get him to eat anything else besides rice cereal, a bottle, or crackers, I am doing good! He used to eat all kinds of fruits and veggies and now I guess he has decided he doesn't like any of that! Well, I wonder where he gets this from?? Hmmm... My ultrasound appt. has been rescheduled for Feb.2nd. Now we get to find out even sooner what we are having. Hopefully the baby will be cooperative and be in the right position! Well, we have scheduled Beau's 1st birthday party for Saturday, Feb.18th at 3:00 p.m. I realize this is 10 days after his real birthday, but we wanted Gramee and Grampee Lott to be able to be here for his special day. I don't think Beau will mind, or even have any idea! Anyone that wants to make the trek down here to Knoxville would be more than welcomed! 1/11/06 Yesterday I had a doctor's appt. for baby Lott. Baby's heartbeat was 155. This kid's heartbeat is just on both ends of the spectrum and inbetween! It wants us to go crazy trying to figure out if it's a boy or a girl! For some reason I think it's a girl but I also thought Beau was a girl so I don't know. We will find out what we're having on Feb. 7th, the day before Beau's 1st birthday! What an exciting couple of days that will be! We have discovered one of Beau's favorite things to do is to get his hands on a dresser drawer or a laundry basket full of clothes and pull them all out one at a time and throw them! He was "helping" me put away his clean, and what was once folded clothes! Needless to say, it took quite a bit longer than expected. I feel so bad we haven't had Beau's pictures taken since he was 6 months old! Now that he is 11 months old, I think we'll probably just wait one more month and have them done at 12 months. The place that we go to called Portrait Innovations has his picture up in their display! It was a cute picture of him with his satin patchwork blanket over his head. We didn't end up getting any of those but they sure were fun. Well, I hope everyone has a lovely day! 1/4/06 I cannot believe it's already 2006! I think having a baby sure makes the time go by fast! Beau keeps me busy but I love every minute of it. He has taught me so much in his near 11 months! He has taught me what the love of a mother feels like and so many other things. Beau spent his very first Christmas in Minnesota at Grandpa and Grandma's house! It was great to see everyone and get to spend such a special holiday with all our precious family. Unfortunetly, Beau did not really enjoy Christmas as much as I did because he was really sick with a fever and terrible cold! He was just not himself. Poor guy we felt so bad for him. At least he will never remember being so sick. When he is older, we will just show him pictures and tell him he had a great time! ;) Next time we fly, I am going to bring a huge bottle of disinfecting cleaner to wipe everything down! I am pretty sure he got some nasty germs from the plane on the way there. Well, after being so loved and spoiled rotten in Minnesota, we came home and he was spoiled again at New Year's when Gramee and Grampee came down from Pennsylvania! They brought him "Trigger" the rocking horse and that was a huge hit! I feel so bad I was terrible at making sure I got good pictures of Beau with all the different family members while we were in Minnesota! I will have to make up for it next time we see everyone again! Well, things have quieted down now, and we don't know what to do without any house guests any more. I guess we got used to having different people stay here over the last couple weeks and now the house seems too quiet! We are enjoying it though. I finally took our tree down and put away all the Christmas decorations today. Now the next big event will be Beau's one year birthday in Feb.! That is just next month already!
12/14/05 Yesterday I had another doctor's appt for the new baby. Everything is looking great and baby's hearbeat was 170! Beau's hearbeat was never that high but Belle's was. So, I wonder if it could be a little girl in there? We will find out in February what we are having since I am only 12 weeks along right now. My doctor moved my due date back a week to July 5th. All the nurses had lots of fun playing with Beau and keeping him entertained during the appt.! I was a little nervous how it would be with him there but it went just fine. Well that is the latest news, just thought I'd post it real quick while I have a second. I will try to get on here really soon and post some new pictures! 12/09/05 Beau turned 10 months old yesterday! He is feeling much better today than he has the last week or so. Last Saturday, he had his first visit to the ER at Children's Hospital. He even got to wear a little tigger hospital gown. He has been through quite a lot lately but now he is all better except for a bad infection on his bottom from the strong antibiotic he was on! Poor guy, I wish I could just go through all these things for him! He is happy as can be though! (Except for last night when we were eating at Johnny Carino's- he decided we should take our food to go! :) Well, today we had little Colin Heck over for a few hours and Beau thought he was tons of fun to play with! Colin is 13 months old and cute as a button with blonde hair and blue eyes! Beau did get a tad jealous at times but overall he did great with his friend here. We can't believe cousin Haakon is almost a year old! It seems like just yesterday that it was last Christmas and he was a brand new little baby! Beau really wants to fly to Texas to be there for his 1st birthday party but we told him he can see him in a couple weeks at Christmas time! Tim taught Beau how to "dance" and now he does it all the time! In his crib, in the bath, in the livingroom, in his highchair...It's pretty funny. Now I know what happens when I leave the house for a couple hours! Well, Beau has been telling me that he's awake from his nap for the last few minutes so I better go get him! Miss and love you all! Kisses and hugs from Beau! P.S. Beau has 5 teeth now! 11/29/05 Oh my, where do I start? Beau has had so much going on lately! We drove to Pennsylvania for Thanksgiving to visit all the family there. We also had a Christmas get together because Tim, Beau, and I won't be there for Christmas since we are flying to Minnesota. That was lots of fun. Beau had a blast with opening presents and eating the paper. He sure got spoiled with lots of clothes and toys! Grampee got to babysit him all by himself while the girls went to a tea room and went shopping, and Brian and Tim went out to eat. Grampee did a great job! He wanted to take Beau to get his first hair cut, but I wan't quite ready for that yet. Now I kinda wish he would've gotten one. Maybe I will attempt to give him a little trim before we get his 9 month pictures taken. We drove through a "Celebration of Lights" on Friday night. We let Beau out of his carseat so he could enjoy looking at all the lights too! He also got to see Santa and have his picture taken there. Yesterday Jason, Cara, Meghan, and Olivia came to see us! That was so fun! They were in Ohio for Thanksgiving visiting family, and decided to drive down to Knoxville since they were so close. Beau had fun playing with the girls! They were full of energy! Tonight we are going to go out and get a Christmas tree and put up all the decorations! I wonder what Beau will think of the Christmas tree? I bet he will want to pull up on the branches! Hmmm... should be interesting! The next big thing we are going to do is fly to Minnesota for Christmas. We will be there the 21st-27th. We are so looking forward to that!
11/18/05 Yaaayy! We found the camera charger! And wouldn't you know it was where it always is! I looked so many times but for some reason I thought it was a cell phone cord or something and not our camera cord! Oh well, at least we found it! Beau has been having so much fun crawling all around and pulling himself up on everything! Getting into lots of stuff too! He has discovered the cd player and loves it! We are gonna have to go out and get him some toys! Maybe that will distract him from all the no no's! He likes to eat cheerios now too. It was hard giving him cheerios at first, I thought for sure he was just going to choke on them. But, he has mastered the art of gumming them until they're soggy and he's able to swallow them. He has 3 teeth now. He finally got one on top! It is nice and sharp! We are excited to drive up to PA for Thanksgiving! Family get togethers mean lots of baby sitters! It will be Beau's 1st Thanksgiving and I think the thing he will be most thankful for is getting to be spoiled by Gramee and Grampee! They will enjoy seeing how much he's changed in the last 3 months! 11/16/05 Well, I had my first doctor's appt. this morning for the new baby! So far so good! The heartbeat was 133. (Sounds like another boy to me! ) I am about 8 weeks along. 2 months down, 7 to go! :) p.s still trying to find our camera charger!
