Yesterday, Aiden lost his two front teeth.  He jumped off the side of our slide and landed on his face!  When he got up one tooth was gone, and the other was hanging on by a thread.  After we got cleaned up a little, Mommy pulled the other one out.  Aiden was very excited, after recovering from the fall....  Enjoy these funny pictures!

We visited the pumpkin patch today.  We picked out a giant pumpkin and 3 baby sized pumpkins.  The all helped and made sure each other was safe the whole time.  We had a special day.

I can hardley believe my daughter has taken her first ballet class.  I have been looking forward to introducing her to dance and she seems to absolutely LOVE it.  She can't wait to go again, and I can't wait to take her!

As we ready ourselves for Hurricane Gustav I took some time to take a few sweet pictures of the kids before church this morning.  I don't know how photographers do it, I couldn't get all 3 of them to be still and smile long enough to get a picture!  But I got a couple good ones anyway.

Look for post hurricane pictures coming soon!

Aiden is star student of the week.  During Chapel on Tuesday he was recognized by his principal Mr. Currie.  Aiden led the students in the pledge of allegiance, and told his Bible Verse.  We are so proud.

We enrolled Abbey in preschool this year.  After ONE DAY I took her out of the program.  Even though the school was "peanut free", there were peanut products everywhere (candy's, granola, cookies, etc).  I made the decision to not expose her to unecessary risk at such a young age.  She just turned 3!  Someday she will be ready to go to school, after I teach her about her allergy.  I am looking forward to having her home and have even printed out a 26 week preschool curriculum to have "preschool" at home.  Enjoy the pictures of her enjoying her first and ONLY day of preschool!  They are so cute!  She is such a special and outgoing girl.

Aiden meanwhile is LOVIN' kindergarten.  He is the star student of the week this week.  Tomorrow he will take in his show and tell treasures he found at Grammy and Grandy's farm.  The treasure's include pears, figs, pecans, muscadines, and a cow bone that he found.  (there are cows at the farm - i don't know the story behind the bone, but don't worry, I soaked it in bleach.)

More to come!

I had to share this.  The last few nights Abbey has been sneaking into Aiden's room after we put them to sleep and getting into his bed.  It is so sweet.  When I go into check on them I find an empty bed in her room and two little people snuggled up in his.  I about fell over with joy when I found this sweet scene.  Sweet dreams.

Among many of the fun things we got to do while in Indiana like visiting friends and family, one special occasion stands out.  The Brennan clan has missed many of Great Grandpa Hoppers special birthday parties.  This year we were so honored to join the Hoppers to celebrate his 93rd birthday party!  He is a great Grandpa indeed!  We also got to visit Grandma Jo in Indianapolis on our way out.

Next we met Daddy, Uncle John, Aunt Stephanie, cousin Kate and Asher, and Alex and Leanne (our very special friends) in Knoxville at Grammy and Grandy's house.  We got to swim at the yacht club and enjoy lots of play time and relaxing time.  Aiden was able to stay for fireworks, but the girls wouldn't have it.  We had to take them home early.

We also enjoyed Grammy and Grandy's very special pictures and story on the computer about their trip to Isreal.  Amazing to say the least.

School starts soon, kindergarten here we come!

We have been visiting our family in Indiana.  What a fun time!  Aiden has gotten lots of play time with his cousins.  Abbey and Olivia love Daisy and Charlie the doggies.  Mommy has been playing Guitar Hero and helping Aunt Dawn with wedding stuff!  We have also visited some good ol places like Notre Dame, BK rootbeer stand, the new Mishawaka River walk and much more.  It is good to visit home, but we miss our Daddy!  See you all soon!

Olivia started walking about a month ago!  She is so big!  Aiden has graduated K4, and Abbey is taking her swim lessons.  All my babies are growing up so fast.  Soon, I won't have babies, but big kids!  Happy Summer everyone!

So much has happened in the last 4 months I don't know what to share!  I just give you the high points.

We spent a wonderful Christmas in Charleston, South Carolina for our Brennan family vacation.  It was heavenly!  Matt has traveled to Morocco again, and has returned safely, again.  All three of the children have had the flu and have recovered.  And Olivia has turned ONE YEAR OLD!  We had a party of five birthday party, just our little family.  It was great special time.  I have uploaded some pictures and will do more soon, when I get the good ones from Matt' camera.

Hope everyone is in good health!

Aiden's Dinosaur Birthday Party:  Today was Aiden's 5th birthday party and it was so much fun.  We had a dinosaur world, with a T-rex cake and lots of green balloons.  We played pin the fish on the T-rex's mouth and Aiden had so much fun with his friends.  He is a big boy.

Mentone Cabin: Our family spent the weekend in Mentone with Uncle Alex and the future Mrs Lincoln (Leean).  The trees were so beautiful, all the fall colors.  And Daddy worked hard every day to build us a wonderful fire in the warm fireplace.  We went on many hikes and got to go see some horses and two giant white fluffy doggies named Scout and Cotton.  All of the children (and adults) had a great time.

Aiden, Abbey and I are fighting the first cold of the season.  We all got some crazy virus but thank goodness Daddy and Olivia have not.  We are on the mend, and bored out of minds being stuck in the house; so we decided to try on our Halloween costumes.  Aiden is still totally into dinosaurs and wanted to be this dragon we found at the store.  Abbey is going to be tinkerbell because I think she looks like a little blonde fairy!  Olivia is going to be a ladybug.  So precious.  Aiden is the only one who will trick or treat, since Abbey is allergic to EVERYTHING!  So she will just ride along....  Anyway, we have a fews weeks until then.  Take care everyone!

The Birds and the Bees:  We were sitting outside this morning and Aiden had a very quizzical look on his face.  He asked me, "Whose belly did you come out of?"  I told him I came out of Grandma's belly.  He asked, "Whose belly did Daddy come out of?"  I told him Grammy's belly.  He said, "Did it hurt?  And how did you come out?"  I explained, kind of.  Then he looked concerned.  He asked, "When you were in your mommy's belly, and Daddy was in his mommy's belly, Who protected me?"  We discussed that for a while.  Then he asked, "When will I have a baby in my belly?"  I explained that when he was all grown up he would find a grown up girl and they would get married, and his wife would have a baby in her belly.  He said, "Like maybe Auntie Dawny?"  I explained how that wouldn't work.  He then said, "Maybe Macy, who is in my class.  But I don't know if she is the one with the blue bow, or the red bow.  But I like Macy".  It was amazing.  And hilarious.
