01/09/09: Brooklyn had a wonderful Christmas and is enjoying the new year already! As you can tell from the pictures she finally got her first hair cut! She did great but made Mommy go first! She is so excited to be back at school and to be playing with her friends. She loves playing with her brother and sister and they think she is amazing....they would follow her anywhere. She is such a silly girl and always has us laughing with the things she says!

12/14/08: Brooklyn is such a big girl now. She is a great big sister and loves making Cooper and Keegan laugh; they think she is hilarious. Brooklyn had a lot of fun over Thanksgiving, we had a lot of family come to visit, and she loved playing with all her cousins. She just got over an ear infection and pink eye (which Mommy and Daddy both have now). She is still enjoying dance and loves school. She is very excited about Christmas coming up and thinks that she would like Santa to bring her everything!! We have been talking about how there are millions of children in the world and Santa cant bring eveything to her just a few gifts, so she is okay with that. She is such a joy and is so silly, she loves to sing and dance for everyone and loves to give big squeeze hugs!

10/13/08: Brooklyn is still our sweet girl! She has started dance class and loves it! She goes every Saturday morning and does ballet and tap! She still loves school and she tells us everyday that Cooper and Keegan are her best friends! She loves to read and play in her room with her ponies and baby dolls, she has a great imagination and can play for hours! She is looking forward to Halloween and has informed us that we need to get some decorations for the outside of our house! She is sleeping in her big purple bed now and is a pro at climbing up and down! She is such and big girl and she makes us laugh every day!

6/28/08: Brooklyn is three years old! It seems like just yesterday she was our little baby! She is such a big girl now and she makes sure that we know she is a big girl and not a baby! She is fully potty trained (no diapers at night anymore)! She still loves to sing and dance and talks non stop! We had a small birthday party for her on her birthday and she had a blast! She was so excited for her big day! When she woke up in that morning she asked me.. " Mommy is today Brooklyn day?" and all day she told everyone it is my day today! I think she was more excited about her birthday cake than opening presents! We had an Enchanted birthday party and cake! Brooklyn and her friends had fun playing outside in the water, when it wasn't pouring down rain! We had her three year old check up on Tuesday and they said she is perfect! She is still in the 90th % for weight and is in the 75th% for height! She had her eyes checked and her hearing checked and she did great! We are planning on signing  her up for dance classes in the fall, which she is looking forward to! She is such a sweet girl and is a wonderful big sister!

6/1/08: Brooklyn celebrated her birthday at school the other week! We called it her "princess day" so she would understand it wasn't her real birthday! She had a blast and loved being a princess!! (as always) We went for a visit with the Carson family, last weekend. It was lots of fun to get all the cousins together, and see how different the babies are. We got family pictures done at the beach which turned out great! Brooklyn is all done with school and is very sad but is looking forward to a fun summer!

5/16/08: We had a fun Mother's Day weekend at Disney! Brooklyn had a blast and enjoyed the hotel as much as the parks! She was able to see Play school Disney Live on stage and loved it! She was amazed the whole time! We also got to try out the new toy story ride before it is opened to everyone since we are pass holders! It was a lot of fun! Brooklyn is still loving school and is a wonderful big sister! She is looking forward to celebrating her birthday at school next week (a little strange for her because she knows her birthday is in June, but she is still excited) she loves birthdays! We will up date with pictures from her school party soon!

5/8/08: sorry it has been so long since the last story! We are finally potty trained! She is wearing big girl pants to school now and is doing great! We are still doing pull ups at night, but I think we should be done with those soon, because she wakes up dry most of the time!
Brooklyn is still loving school and talks non stop! She loves to sing all the time and amazes us that she can remember words to almost any song, and if she doesn't she makes them up! She loves to pretend. We never know who we are going to be. Lately she likes being mommy and taking care of everyone. She is also in love with birthdays. She loves to pretend it is someones birthday and to sing Happy Birthday to them. When you ask her when her birthday is she tells you, in June. She can't wait to have a birthday party! She also loves to dance, we are hoping to get her into a dance class sometime soon. We hope everyone is doing great!!

4/13/08: We are coming to the end of Brooklyn's Spring break! We had a fun week of going to the park with friends and playing in the pool and on her swing and visiting the mall, (Books a Million, Brooklyn's favorite place). We have also been working on potty training and Brooklyn is doing great! She has been wearing big girl pants all day, we have a few accidents here and there but for the most part she is doing great! We hope everyone else is doing great!

4/6/08: We recently had a fun visit with Grandma and Grandaddy Carson. Brooklyn had lots of fun playing outside with Grandaddy and going to the mall with Grandma, Grammy and Mommy. She loves to go to the mall and visit the book store. We got pictures while we were there too. Now Brooklyn always says she wants to get more pictures done when we walk be the picture place. Brooklyn has spring break this week so we are looking forward to doing some fun things. We got a pool the other day to put in the back yard and I am sure we will visit a park or two and have a few play dates. We are also working hard on the potty training. Yesterday she wore big girl pants all day and didn't have a single accident, she even stayed dry during her nap, today she has had two accidents but we have the whole week to get it! She would like to take ballet classes and we told her when she starts wearing big girl pants all the time she can take dance classes. She is still quite the talker and says something new everyday. She tries very hard to make sure she pronounces her words correctly and the other day we were trying to get her to say something the right way and she looked at us and said " I just don't know how to say it okay!". Yesterday I asked her to clean up some toys in her room and she looked at me and picked up her "Cooper and Keegan" baby dolls and said " I can't mom I am holding the babies", I think she might hear that from me quite often! She also loves to sing and remembers words to all the songs they learn at school and she runs around the house singing them as loud as she can, I think I have seen her brother and sister try to cover their ears before. She is very loud! She loves her babies and wants to kiss them and hug them all the time. If one of them is crying she wants to comfort them and tries to give them their pacifiers. She is a great big sister, though she does get a little jealous sometimes and will tell me "put Keegan down so you can hold me". She is quite the stinker and is trying to see how far she can push us but she is also as sweet as can be. It is hard to stay mad at her because she always says I'm sorry and I will be a big girl now. And she is to darn cute so that makes it difficult too!

3/27/08: we hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! Brooklyn was so excited about the Easter Bunny coming and loved getting her Easter basket! She resently got to go to a birthday party at build a bear and had a blast. She named her bear Princess Aurura! She still loves being a big sister and wants to hold and kiss the babies all the time! We will update more soon, (when I don't have two fussy babies at one time)

3/7/08: Wow it seems like forever since I have been on the computer! Brooklyn is doing great, other than having a cold with a yucky cough and an ear infection! She is growing up more and more everyday! We are very close to being fully potty trained!! Which will be wonderful! She is still loving school and tells all kinds of stories everyday! I always have to ask her teachers if they are true or not because she has quite the imagination! She is always cracking us up with things she says and does. The other night when we were saying our prayers at bed time she said, "thank you God for my playground, thank you for Grammy and thank you for making my pretty", it was so hard for me not to laugh! She loves looking at her self in the mirror and she has a new obsession, Boobs! She has seen me breast feed the babies and is amazed, she has tried to breast feed her baby dolls. She stood in front of the mirror while she was getting dressed the other day and looked at her self and asked me, "Mommy my boobs are big now?" I told she can't have boobs until she is a mommy! She is too funny! She is also our little Drama Queen! She always has something wrong! A booboo, a scratch, a bug bite, her tummy hurts, her mouth hurts, her hair hurts! You name it she will complain about it. She usually brings up something that "hurts" when she gets in trouble or is asked to do something she doesn't want to do! While she is a drama queen she also tries very hard to please people and is always saying I'm sorry about things. sometimes we don't even know what she is saying she is sorry about.
She is loving being a big sister, and always wants to hold and kiss them. She is having a hard time keeping her hands off them while she is sick! She also loved seeing all her cousins (on Mommy's side of the family) and getting to play with them. She was so excited to meet baby Maggie! We hope everyone is doing well and will update with more pictures after Brooklyn's Easter party!

2/2/08: Brooklyn is a big sister!! She was so excited to meet her little brother and sister. It has been hard for her to understand why they didn't come home from the hospital with us, but she has been making them pictures that the nurses put in the babies cribs.
Brooklyn is growing up so fast. She is such a sweet girl and has been great with mommy being on bed rest and now that I can't pick her up. She had a great time last weekend when Aunt Erin, Uncle Geoff and Annabelle came in town. She had lots of fun helping mommy open presents at the baby shower that Aunt Erin and Grammy had for us. She also was able to help Uncle Geoff open some birthdday presents too. She is talking up a storm and is always making us laugh. She still loves school and she has developed quite the imagination. You never know who she is going to be. Sometimes she is Lilo, Sleeping Beauty, Mrs Kristina, Aunt Erin, Mommy and sometimes she is baby Jesus! Everyone else has to be someone too: Stich, Prince Phillip, baby Emme, Annabelle or Mary and Joseph. We always have fun guessing who we are going to be each day! She loves doing anything with arts and crafts and is always on the go. We can't wait to see how she will be when the babies come home! Right now she is having a blast with both Grammy and Grandma Carson and PopPop and Grandaddy Carson!

12/26/07: We had a wonderful Christmas! Brooklyn had so much fun opening presents and was so excited to see if Santa ate all of his cookies! She also made sure to leave carrots for the raindeers. She was so funny when she opened her presents, she had to make sure she got every piece of wrapping paper off before she would even look at what she was opening. She got tons of princess things and loves them all. She wanted to open presents all morning and even helped open everyone elses.
We also left Brooklyn's pacifiers for Santa. She was a little upset when she went to bed on Christmas Eve, but then she asked if her friends at school had pacifiers and I told her no and she seemed to be okay. She has asked for it a few times but we are doing really well. Hopefully with in a week she will not ask for them anymore.
We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!!
We have an ultrasound to recheck Keegan's fluid tomorrow morning so check the twin's page for an update soon!

12/20/07: Brooklyn is so excited for Christmas to be here!! She just had her Christmas Parties at school and she did a great job singing! She has two parties because she goes five days and most of the other kids in her class go two or three days! She got a present from her teachers (a book) and they wrapped it up for her again the second day and she was just as excited about it the second time around! She also made lots of cute ornaments for Mommy and Daddy that she has already put on the tree!
This year Brooklyn is going to wrap up her pacifiers for Santa so he can give them to a baby that needs them and in return Santa is going to leave her a "big girl" present! She wants a pink barbie! She is very excited about wrapping them up for Santa! We will see how it goes!!
We hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!!!

12/7/07: Brooklyn went to visit Santa the other day! She would only sit on Mrs. Clause's lap but she was very excited (until she got up to where they were). For the first few minutes while she was sitting with them she would only yawn. The people that were trying to take a picture kept laughing and said this was a first! After she got all her yawns out we got a half smile out of her! I think she enjoyed waiting in line better than seeing Santa! They had fake snow falling and she loved playing in it!
Brooklyn is still our little talker and says so much now! Her favorite thing to say to us is "just a second", or "one more minute". She loves to build castles out of pillows and to play dress up! She is our little princess! She loves school and talks about all her friends all the time! She is really looking forward to Christmas and always looks at toys in catalogs and says, "I'm gonna ask Santa for this." She wants everything!!
We have another ultrasound on the 20th so check out the twin's web page soon for pictures!

11/27/07: We just got back in town from our Thanksgiving trip! We went to South Carolina to visit with Grandma and Grandaddy Carson, Aunt Erin, Uncle Bubba, Annabelle, Aunt Meghan, Uncle Adam, Peyton, Uncle Andrew and his girlfriend Holly. It was great to see everyone and we had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Aunt Meghan and Mommy were able to compare their pregnant bellies! Mommy is the same size as Aunt Meghan and baby Maggie is due on January 5th!! We were also able to attend Annabelle's baptism.
Brooklyn had a great time playing with Peyton and holding Annabelle. She got lots of practice with Annabelle and will be a great big sister. She also had a blast playing with the chickens (she had her own pair of boots to wear) and playing on the tire swing! We hope everyone else had a great Thanksgiving weekend!!

11/14/07: Brooklyn had her Thanksgiving Feast at school today! It was so cute to watch the kids "sing". Most of them just stood there while the teacher sang. Brooklyn mouthed the words and did the hand motions! We know she can sing the songs because she runs around and sings them all at home!! She had lots of fun and the weather was beautiful for them to be outside!
We will have a twin update soon, I have an apointment tomorrow and an ultrasound next Tuesday!

11/01/07: Brooklyn had lots of fun trick or treating with her buddy Caleb! They only went to a few houses but they thought it was great fun! Brooklyn loved the idea of people giving her candy!! Everytime she got a piece she wanted me to open it for her! We were successful in only eating one piece the whole night! We hope everyone had a safe Halloween!!

10/27/07: We have had some busy weeks! Brooklyn has had lots of fun with all the fall activities at school and we were also able to go to a pumpkin festival in our neighborhood. She was most excited about getting a balloon. We waited in line forever to get one and she had decided that she wanted a pink elephant and nothing else. When she asked the guy for a pink elephant he looked at us like we were crazy and said he had never done an elephant before, but when Brooklyn made a sad face he said he would see what he could do. He made an amazing pink elephant for her (it took forever and quite a few balloons) but she was so excited! She also had lots of fun looking at all the pumpkins with cousins Justin and Jordan, who were here from New Mexico.
Last week at school she had her fall festival. She was able to dress up like a cowgirl and we saw all kinds of animals and got to play lots of fun games. She came home with a bag full of goodies!
Brooklyn is very excited about being a big sister and she talks to my belly all the time! She loves to give them kisses and hugs and sometimes she sings to them.
Brooklyn has also become quite the talker and always has something to say or sing. On the way home from school she talks my ear off and sometimes I have to ask her to be quiet for a few seconds so I can think. She is so funny and cracks us up with the things she says. She also loves to sing songs, she loves to sing any Disney song, her favorite is Kiss the Girl and Under the Sea!
We are still working on potty training, which she is starting to get better at. She is staying dry during naps and is telling us more when she needs to go potty, or when she is going potty, which is better than nothing! She is sleeping in a big girl bed now and seems to love it!!
We are looking forward to going trick or treating next week with Brooklyn's friend Caleb! (watch for pictures). We hope you all have a Happy and Safe Halloween!!!

9/30/07: We had a fun family trip tp Disney World this weekend. Brooklyn was so excited to meet a few of the pricesses and Mickey Mouse. It was rainy all day but we still had a great time. Brooklyn got to ride her favorite rides: The Pooh ride, Its a Small World and then we went over to Epcot so she could ride the Nemo ride. We also ran into Natalie and Cate at Magic Kingdom, it was great to see them and we wish we were able to spend more time with them. After the parks we went over to the camp grounds to see Amy, Luis and Caleb. We took the kids down by the water to see the boat light parade. They had lots of fun playing in the sand (after I was able to get Brooklyn to stand in the sand, she kept telling me "Mommy its dirty") She is such a girl. She loved the music they played with the parade (Little Mirmaid music) and was dancing in the sand. We had a great day and we are all exhausted today.

In baby news or should I say twin news: I can feel them moving all the time now, though not strong enough for Greg to feel them but hopefully soon. My belly is getting bigger every day (as I am sure you can tell from the disney pictures). We have reached 17 weeks and we are looking forward to our ultrasound in a few weeks!!
