We finally added some pictures!! It has been a fun few months :) The kids especially had fun celebrating Halloween two times, LOL. Well, we are done camping until March or so and now we are preparing for the Holidays! We just love this time of year, but then again - who doesn't? We spent a week in Palm Springs and got back home about a week ago, boy is it beautiful out there this time of year!! Not many kids there though to play with. Robert's throat is getting better, but still a little raspy. Jonathans cold seems to be leaving us, and I am hoping to feel better in the next couple of days...We are starting to decorate for Christmas and look forward to Thanksgiving and seeing everyone!!
OXOXOX
Wow! Time for updates two times in one month! What is this world coming to? :)
I just added some fun pictures from recent events, Jacobs first day of 2nd grade and getting his hair cut professionally for the first time, Lina's baptism, our trip to a Quakes game with Josephs pre-school and Jonathan trying to do marathons around the house! It is amazing how fast that little guy is growing, I am afraid to blink because I might miss something! We hope everyone is doing well and hope to see you soon!

July 2008
Wow, is this year just flyin' by! Everything is happening so fast I barely find the time to take pictures let alone write anything down. Where to start!...We have had such an amazing summer! Mike coming out to Pismo with us was awesome! We knew it would be fun, but he topped the cake, LOL. We were so sad to see him go and can not wait till they come back out. He managed to get his fishing in, caught a whopping 4 incher!! By hand! now that is talent, LOL. The look on his face when he got back from riding in the dunes was PRICELESS! I believe his exact words were "Now that is the ticket". We hope he enjoyed himself as much as we enjoyed having him. It was nice when Gene surprised us with a visit also, the kids were excited to show him how they ride now - Jacob just wanted him to see how he is not embarrassed to wear his gear now, LOL. And him getting stuck in the sand for a minute on his way out made us feel a little better about getting stuck, LOL. After all what is a trip to Pismo without getting stuck at least once.....or four times but who is counting ;) It has been so long since I have written anything so this might be a little long...
Our little Lina is getting ready for 7th grade, and she is a little nervous - actually she is scared. We are sure that she will do fine, it is just such a big step. She does not go to school until September 2nd which gives us plenty Mommy/Lina time to prepare since the boys are in school already :) I can not believe that she is growing so fast! She is already 5'3", now I know I am short so it is not hard to pass me up - but she is only 11 for crying out loud, LOL. This recent trip to Pismo was her first time out and she had a blast, she handles her bike pretty well and no injuries, thank God :) She made me cut her hair today so she has her "long" bangs off to the side - she is so excited about her bangs and can not stop looking in the mirror, lol. I gave her the deluxe treatment with a trim and straightening her hair too so she loves it!
As for Jacob, he has started 2nd grade and is having a blast! He loves it, he finally has a female teacher, he has not complained one time at all and is having a great time!! He missed his friends so he is glad to be back at school...we are going to try and put him in sports again this year - since our friends' kids are in soccer he sees that it is ok and kinda interested so wish us luck, LOL. He also had such a great time this summer - he is on a bigger bike now but is already used to the power and doing well. Of course scaring the crap out of me, but he is handling the bigger size of the bike quite well. He loved having Pipaw with us at Pismo and I don't think it will be the same if we ever try to go without Mike, so mark your calendars Pipaw!! With the exception of when he was 18 mos old he has officially had his first enjoyable trip to Knotts Berry Farm - HE HAD A BLAST!! OMG, it took the park closing for us to leave because they were having so much fun! And he has learned about fishing - the thrill, the catch, the death, the guts, the cooking and eating of it, etc etc etc...he caught a little one at Pismo and let it go but some friends of ours caught some catfish in the mountains and that is where he learned everything. We took the kids to the creek and they made their first "swimming hole", they worked so hard piling the rocks - it was great!
Our little Jo-Jo....he is growing soooo fast! He is a riding finatic now! When he saw us watching him he would stand up a little bit or lift his leg to show us his tricks as he would ride by us, it was a crack up!! Last year he got on the bike for like 2 minutes and was done with it. Now, he already wants a bigger bike, we barely saw him the whole trip because he would not get off of his bike, LOL. He loved collecting his shells for Mommy and could not get enough of hanging out with Pipaw! He is doing great in preschool, during his whopping 6 hours per week, LOL. Writing his name, practicing letters and numbers in addition to everything else he already knew. The teachers told me today that he is so quiet and is so focused and such a hard worker...that totally made me look forward to his school years :) Despite the freezing cold weather and water he loved playing in the ocean, he is dog paddling now in the pool, and he absolutely loved Knotts. He was dissapointed that he could not go on Big Foot Rapids (I did not read the fine print and thought he was too small), but he rode the roller coaster in Camp Snoopy like a pro! In his own seat even! Scared the crap out of me but he loved it!
And boy is baby Jonathan growing like crazy! He just turned 7 months, he is 22 lbs 3.4 ounces, and 28 1/2" long. He is in the 89 and 95 percentiles. He started standing just before Pismo when he was 6 months and 1 week, he gets real brave and likes to do tricks like letting go with one hand, moving a foot, etc. He also finally cut his first tooth while we were on vacation. He is just a little ray of sunshine! He is always full of smiles and giggles! His doctor said he is doing 9 month old activities. Just a few days ago he started eating his veggies and now likes his peas, lol. We are going to try Carrots next! He is loving water so far also, when we had that first real bad heat wave a few months ago we gave him a cup of ice water and he loved it. He attacks Daddys ear plugs everytime he sees them. He is all over the house exploring what he can. He had a blast with Pipaw and warmed up to him real quick. I could have sworn that he gave me a kiss today - It was so cute! He has been giving what seems to be hugs for the past couple weeks too. The kids just can not get enough of him. We are also finding that he loves being outdoors. He can sit there in his exersaucer for a while just watching the trees blow without any toys and just taken in what is going on around him. I will try and get a picture of him looking like Squiggy from Laverne and Shirley too - his hair naturally points down in the front and he looks just like him, LOL. He took his shots a lot better this time, and is glad to know he gets to go 6 months before the next round, LOL.
As for Daddy and Mommy, we are doing great! Busy busy busy as usual but we still make sure we take time out to enjoy life. Robert finished the patio roof so we spend more time in the back yard, he has completed the planter, pavers, and the new dog run. We just need to get some trees and I think we are done for now. We had such a good time with Mike, he was so much fun to have around! All of our friends loved him and spoiled him rotten, LOL. He said he felt like a King. We can not wait until next year!! Hopefully he can convince Mom to join us too. I am doing good also, getting a lot of my energy back now and trying to get rid of some of this darn baby weight!! After finally finishing up my spring cleaning from last year I am feeling quite accomplished, LOL. But is a housewifes work ever done? LOL....
On a sad note, my Grandfather has passed away, he died on July 18th at 11:30 p.m. It is very bittersweet because we will miss him but at least he is out of pain and misery now. He just went to sleep and left us, which was also good to know that he did not have another attack or anything. We will miss him and I still do not know how to tell the boys that their Grandpa Santa is gone :( Any advice on how to break it to them is appreciated.

Hello Family and Friends...
We hope everyone is doing well and enjoying this beautiful weather we have been having!! Well there is so much to update that I am just going to let the pictures do the talking. There are about 4 new pages of pictures from the last couple of months, including of course our new little bundle of joy Jonathan and his first few months of life :) And of course a picture of our new patio roof that Daddy built for us so Jonathan can go outside and to keep the house cooler! We also have a lot of up and coming trips so there will be lots more pictures to come!! I will try to find time more often to update them :)
We hope you all had an awesome Easter and we will see you soon!!

Well we did it! We made it back from Pismo safe and sound and survived the sand! When we were first pulling into our site we got stuck - that was great! I still can not stop laughing, LOL. The boys loved it - all 3 of them. For Robert hating the sand he had a blast - riding out there on the dunes like a pro. Deep down I know he wants his own bike, HA! Jacob is catching air and throwing sand like he has been doing it forever and Joseph is all over it too. I did not ride because of the baby - it was not worth the risk! But wait till next year! WATCH OUT!! :)
We hope you enjoy the pictures - we also have some video of the boys riding but it is a pain to upload them on this website... Well, we are off to our local campgrounds now for some fun in the sun! We are trying to get as much in as we can while the kids are out of school. We love you guys!

Hello to all of our wonderful family and friends! We are back home! Our trip was so great there are not enough words to explain it, but you know I will try - I always love a challenge! We spent 18 days away. We first got into South Carolina and tried to relax the first day but the kids were so excited they were running on two hours sleep for the whole day :) Jacob insisted on going to the Waffle House he had heard so much about so we took him there, needless to say he did not like their eggs, but he loved their waffles! We celebrated Josephs 3rd birthday out there, he totally loved it! He is so proud that he has his very own backpack now, with a mickey mouse wallet a cell phone and some keys! And his new Pajamas, it is so hard to get them off of him, LOL. It is so cute seeing his little face light up! We went to this really cool park one day, they had some water fun there so if you visit be sure to take swimwear if you are going to Soluda Shoals park! It was beautiful there, but oh so hot! After a couple of days at Moms we went to Georgia to see Savannah, it was beautiful! We drove around a lot while there, we went to Tybee Island Beach, walked on the Riverfront in Savannah (Pirate row), of course got some shopping in, then we went to Hilton Head Beach the next day! Now that beach was nice - the water was not as warm as the other one! The kids loved the waves and jumping over them - it was too much fun! Instead of trying to get the kids to sit still on the old town tour we just followed the trolly around and saw stuff for ourselves :) Then we went back to Moms after a couple of days. By the end of our first week we were heading up to their cabin in North Carolina, now that area was beautiful! For those of you who go to visit up there have them take you to the BBQ place across the street from the cabin - it was great! We checked out some local shops and scenery then Sunday we headed to Georgia again - the other side of course! Our destination was Atlanta so Robert could take all of us to where he used to work and the cool things he saw while there. Now Atlanta was much more fun than Savannah, I think because we saw and did so much more while there. We went to the infamous Pepperponi's pizza restaurant, which Robert and Pat swear by and let me tell you - it was the best! So much better then Round Table even! We went to Stone Mountain park! Now that was awesome! We went on a train ride, boat ride, skylift to the top of the mountain, ate at the best little country restaurant which was quite affordable! You eat at a restaurant in Disneyland and spend a fortune - this place was great, you got huge plates, they gave you appetizers called "pass arounds" - which are free, then they bring these rolls out to you and toss them to you and by the time your dinner gets there you need a take out box because you are so full! We could not believe it! By the time it got dark (and after the storm that came through) it was time for the laser light show, the kids were speechless - it was about an hour long with awesome laser light pictures on the Stone itself with music playing. It was very patriotic and almost brought a couple of tears to our eyes. The next day we toured the Mayfield dairy farm, they make Ice Cream and Milk of course. We did not see any cows though, but we did get huge scoops of ice cream for a buck! We still have some pictures at Moms from that tour that we will have to add later - the kids took a picture next to one of the original delivery trucks from the 50's. After that we stopped to shop at the best outlet mall ever! Then headed back to the house. Mom and Mike had a BBQ for the shop so we went there and lit off some fireworks a day early, that was fun! Mom loved the finale box we got - you should ask her to tell you about it! For the 4th of July we went to the Peach festival, boy was that an experience! We brought home a little gadget that makes hush puppies with the mix too! They were yummy! They had Peach ice cream, parfaits, cobbler - basically that place was infested with Peaches! After that we took our happy butts over to Tom and Veronicas to BBQ and light of fireworks - we really missed Veronica and the kids but hopefully we will see them sooner than later. They have a beautiful home! She did an awesome job decorating. The fireworks were so crazy, I think after everything was said and done with all the families combined there must have been about $3,000 spent on fireworks - the good ones! Not the safe and sane stuff that you get in California, LOL. And of course with that many there is bound to be a couple duds! There was one that did not shoot into the sky but it sure did take off on the ground. With the light from the firework you can see the guys running away from the little explosions! That was scary but hilarious! Jacob and Lina got to shoot off a bottle rocket for the first time and Joseph held a sparkler for the first time. He was always terrified on the 4th - but he did really good this time! Robert spent a couple of days in the field experiencing the business. He was the best digger there! LOL Then we went to EdVenture, it is a children's museum. That place was just awesome! There was a history section, a job section, a journalism section, it was crazy! They had a mini grocery store there, with carts that were the kids sizes and checkout stands! I could not believe all the stuff they had. There was this huge statue of "Ed" that the kids could climb in - you could see in his stomach, hear his heart beating, and see his brain. I think that was the science part of the museum.
Then they took us to their friends house on the lake, which is up for sale and we need to convince them to buy it! :) Ron and Diana were such sweet people. They have a beautiful property with a man made beach the kids loved! It was hard to get them out of the water! Us girls spent some time shopping while Daddy was working :) and then before we knew it the time was near to go home. Having to get on a plane again was on my mind, and the flight home was scarier than the one going their but we made it safely home. The boys came home loving to jap-slap people (from Pipaw) and brought back all kinds of southern sayings, it is too cute! Joseph is a little rough on his jap-slap thought, but he is learning LOL. The only bad part about back east is the mosquitos and the cigarette smoke! Other than that I have no complaints! We loved every minute and can not wait to go back. Everything is so beautiful out there! Also while we were gone I started to feel movements from the baby! It is so exciting! Joseph says goodmorning to the baby every morning and Jacob is reading books to my tummy :) Less than 3 weeks and we should know what we are having. We also found our dream house while on vacation, OMG! This house was sick! But Mike said maybe in 6 years they will be back (I know, we have all heard it before, LOL) so what would be the point in moving out there! Well this week we are preparing for our trip to Pismo Beach then maybe heading to the campgrounds near home. I hope you all are having a wonderful vacation! Stay cool! See you soon!
Love,
Robert, Andrea, Lina, Jacob, Joseph, and the lil' one on the way!

Woooo Hooooo! We love camping! Who would of thought. From freezing cold temperatures to perfect weather we had a blast! We hope you enjoy the pictures - I figured I should post them before we went on trip #2 tomorrow :) We hope everyone is doing great!

This has been an interesting month!!! Busy busy busy! It seems everyone is having parties, we are building the rest of our back yard, my Mother actually came for a visit - the list goes on! Well there are lots of pictures from our trip to Big Bear, numerous parties :), My Mom during her visit, and the building going on in our back yard! Everything is going good, the kids are back in school and it is just Joseph and I, lol... Jacob now has a loose tooth, it is one on the bottom right (his right). The one next to it barely moves and will probably be the second one to go... He is growing so fast :) He keeps wanting to eat an apple to make it "break out" but we keep telling him that he does not want it to come out before it is ready. Poor kid, he loves his apples too. Anyway, gotta go - enjoy the pictures!!

Hey loved ones,
it has been a while since an update. It has been nice seeing you all lately :) The kids are on vacation for one month so we will be on the go keeping them busy, lol... Luckily my "walking" pneumonia has cleared and I am all back to normal now so I can keep up... I posted a bunch of pictures. There are a few things going on that are new. We have decided to get out and about to more places then just the cabin and Palm Springs (we love these places still) since Robert has so much time off every year now we will be vacationing much more, not that we did not already, lol... We found this really nice place very close to home to go camping. They have cottages to rent also. It is great! We can stay there when the kids are off track too - even if Daddy is not on vacation, he can go to work from there :) We love how close it is! We can have guests there staying in the cabins or with their own camper. We can go up just for the day with no camper if we want and as much as we want. There is everything for us to do just like at Lawrence Welks, plus a couple of lakes, fishing (not that we fish), and new experiences for the kids...and us too! And it is in the mountains, we loooove the mountains! I can not wait to be there when it snows. We have friends that have a membership up there too so they can show us the ropes, could you picture us clueless trying to set up our camp, lmao! So of course after falling in love with this place we have been keeping our eyes open for the perfect trailer to fit our needs! Of course we found it...you know me, I don't waste any time... It was hard finding something that accomodated our list so we went with a used one - only 3 years old though and it has been kept in perfect condition and also under covered parking. All the things I did not like about the new ones - this one does not have, while providing us with all of the stuff we did like :) Plus the guy threw in the stabilizer system and hitch! This should prove to be interesting, but so much fun! The kids had a blast at the campground, I can not wait to see their excitement once we are there for days! We can spend up to two weeks at a time there, and as long as we are gone for as long as we were there then we can come back for up to another two weeks, or for less time if we wish. Of course with full hookups, LOL... My brother calls us the 5 star campers, lol... We are on this new mission to make many fun memories while the kids are young, taking them on new adventures and experiencing new things. Losing our baby made us realize what we do still have and we have to make every minute count for them, I hope that sounds right, lol... Well it is pass my bedtime...
Hope all is well :) Enjoy the pics!! Love you all! Sign the guestbook!!

YAYYY Jacob!! Our little guy is so far the brightest in his class... He is almost to a 2nd grade reading level, being a Kindergartner that is awesome! Especially when he turned 5 only 3 months ago! Also, there is only a small handful of kids including Jacob that can actually sound out their words well enough to write stories. I could not believe there were so many kids who have parents that make sure their work is perfect on their homework. The teacher showed me the childrens homework compared to their classwork and it was amazing - it is like the parents are doing their homework for them. Anyways, I just thought I would share that. I am thinking all this time Jacob has just been too smart for his own good, lol... but hey, you can never be too smart right? Lina is doing great also, Joseph had another trip to Urgent Care last week - he needs to stop taking nose dives into sharp objects! Thank God for Liquid stitch!! Anyways, hope you all are well and we will see you soon.
Much love,
Robert & Andrea

Finally another update - WOW what a busy month this has been...but worth every minute!!! Another year come and gone! We truly have a lot to be thankful for, including Roberts new promotion that took effect on Christmas Day :)... It has been almost a year and a half since we have been going to church regularly and boy has it made a difference. It is amazing how much our outlook has changed in that little bit of time. Having a miscarriage almost broke me but we are getting through it. There are things we see and understand now that we would have never thought twice about before. Of course we are all a work in progress! If we learned anything this year it is to eliminate the ugliness and stress from our life and it makes a difference! It is amazing, the better you do the more people want to cut you down. Thank God there is prayer, for every one of us!
It is so sad that the season is already over! We had such a great time. Going crazy with our outdoor decorations (and the indoor ones :)) was so much fun!!! Thank you all so much for all of the thoughtful Christmas gifts and wonderful memories you have brought into our new home. It was so nice finally having room for everyone, lol... I can not express how much we enjoyed ourselves - especially not having to worry about the boys getting into anyones stuff, breaking anyones nick nacks, or hiding behind anyones couches with candy***. I bet all of you never seen them so well behaved at a gathering, lol... You guys are truly great! The kids have not stopped playing since Christmas Eve. Of course Santa went overboard once again, that darn Santa! I think he knows we hardly go toy shopping during the year. But a lot of the kids' old toys went to good use so it is ok :) Daddy finally got his 6 kit Dewalt set so he is ready to start building the shed, yay!!! Now I can start parking in the garage comfortably when that is done :) The kids finally got their train table - boy is that hours of entertainment!!! Well things are just starting to settle down around here - we are FINALLY out of cookies from Cookiefest too.
Well as usual I can not wait until another Holiday comes again! We wish you all a very safe New Year!
Don't worry Tio Boap, we will take you up on that offer to start that New Years tradition again!!
Next year though, no time to plan now :)
Oh yeah, THANKS GRAMMA AND PIPAW FOR THAT AWESOME CHRISTMAS GIFT!!! Robert initially felt bad about asking you for that but it is great that it worked out so perfectly! Now everyone can spend time with you, stressfree!!!
With much love,
Robert, Andrea,
Lina, Jacob, & Joseph

Well it has been a fun couple of weeks, very eventful! The kids' vacation is over. They were great for the first couple of weeks being very patient not being able to do much with me bedbound but they had enough fun the last couple of weeks of vacation to make up for it :) We got to take them to the cabin and they had a blast, even though it was a short stay we got a lot accomplished! It was especially fun having a sleepover with Nana and Tata (as usual). To my surprise, I found an entry in the guestbook from March of 1993 ** my first trip to the cabin, we will not discuss how old I was :) Anyway, the kitchen up there looks great with the new appliances! And the new Curtain Mantle that Tata and Daddy built came out awesome! The first day there the kids and I went around the yard and collected a bunch of pinecones for our holiday crafts and decided to let some stay to decorate the new curtain mantle with. I can not wait to get back up there when there is snow!!! Then of course we had to come back down to get ready for Thanksgiving! Robert and Joseph made mashed potatoes for our Thanksgiving dinner - I just added a little love to them...but it was fun! Thanksgiving was a blast! It was so nice having Gramma (Mom) here! It was fun when she surprised us with a visit to check out our Winter Wonderland :) We will definitely have to have Hot Cocoa (with milk) next time they come when it is that freezing. The boys were totally into helping Daddy decorate the outside of the house for Christmas. We love this time of year :) They also got to experience being allowed to climb the big guy ladder! There is no stopping them now, lol... We are so excited for all the kids to see our Winter Wonderland on Christmas Eve. I think they will like it! Now the kids are back in school and things are getting back to normal, Jacob is in full day Kinder now - yay for me!!! That is about it for now - that I can think of...
Hope all is well with everyone - see you all soon!!!

Proud Moment.....
Our little Jacob has surpassed the Kindergarten end of year standard 3 times over :) The state standard is to count to 30 (which is not a high enough standard if you ask me!) and recognize the numbers, well he just counted too 100 and recognizes all of the numbers, even mixed up!!! Do not forget he is still 4, lol... We are sooooo proud of him! They are only 1 tri-mester into the year and already he is writing full sentences, reading his books, sounding out words, all words if you know what I mean... He recognizes all upper and lower case letters, I just can not stop being so proud of our little "Namna", LOL...
I just could not help myself but to post something about this :)
Have a great one!!!!
11-13-2006
CONGRATULATIONS DADDY!!!
We are so proud of you.
We Love you so much...
Robert is getting his next promotion. He did great on his test. Having to go to the Valley or even farther to accept the next promotion was a concern but he will not have to go any farther to accept this promotion after all!!!! He got the call this morning offering him the position in the same yard and most likely on the same crew.
I remember looking through classified adds for jobs for him because Gramps was pushing him to do something with himself, who would of thought we would be here now!! 15 years later but better late then never!
We are very excited. Of course another 5% does not hurt either, lol....you gotta love DWP!!! Oh yeah, don't forget to drink your water :)

Think Happy Thoughts!
We have so much to be happy for...but can you please keep us in your prayers with what has happened though. It is greatly appreciated.
This has been a fun season. The kids just ended their first trimester. They have had some fun field trips going to the L.A. Fair and to an awesome Pumpkin Patch. Lina saw a cow give birth and swears animals are born out of the Mommy animals butt. Who am I to argue? This was a REAL pumpkin patch! It was not a ploy to get all of your money, it was very educational. They learned how the pumpkin grows from a seed, all the different types of pumpkins, they learned about animals and visited the petting zoo. Each child received a free pumpkin - even Joseph and I got one too :)
They took us on a real tractor ride throughout the whole farm (which was huge). We saw their Christmas Tree Farm also. I can not wait to go check it out with the kids in December. Jacob and Lina both received awards. Lina got two academic awards and Jacob got the award for perfect attendance... They got free token vouchers for Chuck E Cheese with In N Out and Millies free meal coupons. They are both doing excellent in school. Jacob is advanced in all areas but is a little strongheaded so we are working with him on that. Lina got all A's and P's which is awesome but she needs to be less of a social butterfly so she can get her work done faster :) Joseph is talking like a madman!!! Like Pi-Paw says he sounds so robotic, like he is making commands, like "Jo-Jo ni-nite" or "Jo-Jo foot hurt" - it is great, lol. He is riding his bike now, pedaling all by himself. He is just growing way to fast. He is learning his Alpha friends from Jacob, he is counting to 5 (we are working on 10), he is trying to learn letters, and knows some colors! Everytime we go to Jacobs class he swears he is also in Kindergarten. At Jacobs Halloween party at school Joseph was all up in the Kool Aid - he knows the kids' names, did what they were doing, even received little goody bags like the rest of the kids. A couple of the Moms want to keep Jacob and take him home and Joseph is trying to steal Jacobs best gal. He can not stop showing off for little Brooke. Jacob doesn't even notice, lol... We are looking forward to what the second trimester of school brings! I can not wait to plan another party for their class, Christmas is even more fun than Halloween. Lina and Jacobs Birthday party was a HUGE success! Whoever did not RSVP or show up sucks but we had a blast anyways. Some people just have no manners. The kids had a great time and Thank You to everyone who came, you helped make it a great party! Can you believe Jacob is turning 5 already! He is so far ahead of his age. And Lina being 10 now, WOW, time flies!!!! Well, I need to shut my eyes for a while. Hope everyone is well.
I do not have the heart or the strength to remove any of the tickers, stories, or info created in the anticipation of the baby we were having. I created a Memorium ticker for our precious Angel. This might help me say goodbye, which is something I am having an extremely hard time with.
