She's Six Months Old and Bellyflopping - February 25, 2009
I can't believe Callie turned 6 months old this Monday - the time has flown and she's changing every day! It's been a fun month. Mom & Bill came to visit and let James & I go out for a Valentine's dinner. He had to work later that night, but it was nice to have a little time alone. This week, Callie has been amazing. The pediatrician told us last week we should let her try the sippy cup. So, last night I put an ounce of milk in the cup and handed it to her. She drank it all up without spilling a drop - such a surprise - I wonder if she'll ever do that again!! Tonight, I layed her on her stomach and encouraged her to try to crawl for her toys. We've been doing this fairly regularly with no forward motion. Tonight, she got up on her toes and did two bellyflops toward her toys - our new nickname for her is Flopper Monkey. I'm sure soon we'll have a hard time keeping up with her!

Callie Pooh's 2 Weeks Old! - September 6, 2008
Wow, time flies... I can't believe it's been two weeks since this precious little girl arrived! Callie's doing wonderful. Yesterday, she weighed in at 6 lbs 3 oz at the pediatrician's office, so she's exceeded her birth weight now - yeah! It's been an interesting week. She had a couple of fussy days...
