May 15th-Ok, so what do you THINK happens when you take a little man to a Dindodaur (Dinosaur) museum thinking he LOVES?? You guessed it!!! MASS HYSTERIA!!! Jeremiah was holding onto myself, Mema and Pepa for dear life and crying, crying, crying. Poor guy. Ok, so finally we get him to calm down enough that he isn't crying.. he is just stuck to us like glue. I tell him "Don't worry honey, it is just a big toy! That's all, it can't hurt you". What does Mema do? She comes up and starts talking to the dinosaur like it is alive.... OH MY GOODNESS!!!!! So, we haven't confused anything have we???? NOT AT ALL!!!! Ok, After being here for about an hour, Jer finally started to ask to get down and venture around. Brave little guy! BUT, he was sure not to stand too close to any one Dinosaur. Oh and the title of this entry was DINDODAURS, because that is how Jeremiah says Dinosaur! HE loves them.. or well.... maybe love is too strong of a word!!! LOL... Also, Jen and I experienced our first Earthquake! Well, ok, it was man made, but if it was anything at all, generally speaking, sorta in a way like the one in China and the after shocks in Taiwan, WHOA!!!!! That would be intense!! Our prayers go out to China and the surrounding areas of Asia! Enjoy the pictures!!!!

March 28 2008-Jeremiah becomes a nation state! LOL. No really, today we finally got Jeremiah's citizenship done and he is now no longer an alien amongst our people! lol. He is a legal begal! He wore his red, white and blue and everywhere he went he had to show them and tell them that he is legal now! How cute! He carried his green card around for a while. I think it was his way of saying goodbye to the chubby little Taiwanese guy that came here October of 2006. It is hard to believe that he is now legal. This little guy has grown so much in our hearts and also right before our eyes into such a wonderful little man. Nothing warms my heart more than the little hugs he offers just because and the way he gives me a rock star entrance by screaming when I walk in a room after running to the grocery store! He is the sweetest most wonderful single little person in the world and is now going to be America's sweetheart and take them by storm with his charm, sense of humor and his cunning witt!
So we celebrated by going to do his favorite summer pass time since the weather was so nice, THE PARK! Here are some pictures from our adventures on this most wonderful and fantastic day!

Jer trying to measure up the American flag pole already!
Trying to find out how to start this thing at the garden expo! "I know it is here somewhere".

December the 25th-Merry Christmas!!!! Well, today was a wonderful day! We hosted Christmas this year and it was the first "real" Christmas that Jeremiah has had with us. We didn't put up to many decorations last year because he had been home for less than 2 months at that point and I didn't want to stress him or us anymore than we had too.. so this year mommy went all out. We stareted our day with reading Luke 2, well part of it. Then we opened our "family" gifts. At 12 we started cooking the Hams and one of my pyrex dishes exploded in the oven, sending candy juice all over the oven. We stood there trying to get the pieces of glass out of the oven and keep a fire from a brewin seeing as it is a gas oven. Then we had to resort to microwave for cooking. Thank God most of the stuff was done and that was one of 3 items to cook or heat up. Anyways, we had WAY TOO MUCH FOOD! But it was OH SO GOOD! I went way out on a limb and baked cake inside of sugar cones, then spread melted chocolate morsals over them, then iced them so they looked like snowed on trees, then decorated them so they looked like Christmas trees. I did 18 trees total!!!

I so felt like Suzy homemaker. We played 3 games; rob your neighbor, Candy bar game, and white elephant gift... it was quite fun! Everyone ate until they couldn't eat anymore and Jeremiah found one White Elephant gift that he particularly liked!..lol. After 13 people being here and tons of food to divide up, I was ready for bed. But going to bed earlier than one is use to has a price.. mine was being up by 4am..lol. Oh well, I went back to bed and boog wasn't up until 10 am or so , so it was a nice sleep for all. The party went well and My sister and Dad loved their pictures that I took of the kids and families. I got a new printer for Christmas, so I am ready to do business for photography!! We have been getting snow off and on and now that my Holiday rush is over, I can relax and start doing more jewelry. Check out my other blog for pictures of the new project for bracelets to help bring Tirzah Joy home from Taiwan!!!!! http://taiwankiddo2.blogspot.com/
Happy New Year!!!!

Dec 23rd-At the Church Christmas party.
We went to the church Christmas party tonight and a whole nother side of Jeremiah emerged. While we were singing a Christmas carol.. when we got to the "Gloria" part and I had my mouth in an O shape and Jeremiah looked at me then started mimicking my O. Shortly after he got the O shape, he let out a very loud "singing" type sound..lol. It was so cute!!!! Next, various ones of us had a part to sing in the 12 days of Christmas for fun. We were told to do a motion to go with our 12 days of Christmas and Jer and I had "Two Turtle Doves" While we were singing it I started flapping my arms and he was sitting on my lap so he followed suit almost each and everytime. It was hilarious!!!!!!! He would laugh at the jokes along with the adults, clap for people and had a wonderful time! He was the life of the party! What a guy. I just wanted to share our heart warming and tummy tickling time.......

WoW... I am so sorry.. December 23rd- it has been so long since we updated our Jeremiah's site... I have had so much going on. Like listening to Jeremiah tell me what animals and objects are in his books..lol. I tell ya.. this little guy is the cutest, sweetest there is! It is the simple things too that just make me go "AHHHHH". The other day we were coming up the stairs and we have this one tile (the previous owners put in peel and stick tile on the top stairs) keeps coming undone. So, on the way up, it started to come undone and Jeremiah was in front of me and he stopped to put it back.. How smart and thoughtful?! AND, when I take a nap with him sometimes he plays with my hair and rubs my back for me.. can you say "woman's man"? He is going to not only be dog gone good looking but know the way to a woman's heart too! YOUCH! I am going to have to take numbers for him....lol. He also puches while he sleeps too...lol. Got me right in the face the other day....it was funny. He is looking forward to Christmas and has decided to play it cool and not even think about the presents being there. Since he started to pull the ornaments off the tree he has been forbidden to touch.. poor guy.. so he just steers clear... MOST DAYS...lol. BUT he does like the lights on so he can see them.. oh I mean "IGHTS"...lol. I know I will catch some flack for this but he is getting a boy cabbage patch kid for Christmas. HE IS MANLY looking! He has different color real spiked hair and the hair changes colors. My dad said that that one was ok..lol. MEN! I know he will love it.. just like I knew he would love the talking vaccuum for his birthday. And David thought I was nuts. He is getting a very manly basketball hoop too! Anyways, for those of you following this site.. I have a new blog for Tirzah Joy... http://taiwankiddo2.blogspot.com/
And we have a new store to buy from. In February it is going completely adoptive funds...
AlwaysNaturallyYours.com.
Our thanksgiving went well. We had it at my sister's house and Jeremiah enjoyed the day of course. He wouldn't take a nap of course...lol. Matter of fact he got mischevious and got into my sisters computer desk dwarers and got some things out like playing cards....I was so embarrassed! Oh well, they are only two once.... It was his first real FAMILY Thanksgiving though so it was extra exciting to watch him. I am excited to see how he does on Christmas too. I will add Thanksgiving pictures later.
Jeremiah has grown again by the way.. he is now 35 inches and 26 lbs. He wears a size 7 1/2 shoe, what a foot! He laughs and plays all the time and loves to joke around. He even pretends to sleep and then surprises you! He doesn't really like meats all that well but loves his noodles. The other night we had dumplings, spring rolls and egg flower soup and he thought he was in heaven.. or Taiwan.. I am not sure which..lol. He loves to snowball fight and laughs really hard when he gets hit with one. BUT he hates to be outside without gloves in the snow. Mema and Pepa tried to get him a new winter coat and he refuses to wear it. HE HATES IT so much that we had to take it back. I think it is because he can't really move in it too well and he is like his mommy and wants to be able to move so a little cold is a more welcome thought to him..lol. Simply amazing how much like us he is. He still greets me like I am a rock star which makes my days and he wants mommy when he has a boo boo or a problem which si fine with me! He loves daddy to a fault and now gets that bed time is daddy's time, BUT Jeremiah doesn't like that daddy refuses to sing the "Good night sweetheart song" to him. He had his first litteral arguement with Mema and Pepa the last time he spent the night and he stands his ground more. He talks more and makes some sentences but it is still mainly what mama and Mema can understand. He still hasn't met his Ani Ani or Grandpa Mike or Aunt Margie but he likes to look at their pictures and talk about them. He wants to meet them soon. He somedays wants a new brother and others a new sister but it seems that both are fine no matter what! He just wants a sibling to play with and combat. He is a very easy boy to get a long with and he shares his toys like a champ, BUT he does let you know when you have asked him to do something he doesn't want to do. He loves having the privelege to throw something away for mommy and he likes to help make dinner. Oh and he feels sorry for the whining stuff dogs at walmart! lol.. he leans over to them and hugs and kisses them and makes a sad Uhhhh sound and pets them like they are hurting..lol.. TOO CUTE! Anyways, that is our Jeremiah, our sensative, wonderful Jeremiah. I can't imagine our lives with out our BOOG! He is our little baby man! So, that is it for now. I will try to be better about updating again. We are hosting Christmas so there is lots still to do!!!!!!

November! November is adoption month! There are so many orphans across the U.S. and in other countries that cry themselves to sleep nightly as they await their new families. These children deserve their own home and a family to love them, but many will be forgotten and never adopted. Some of these little ones will even die in their orphanage this month! Some will age out of the system and be forced to live on the streets or to sell themselves for food and money. Imagine, you are a child of two years. You sit in your crib day after day and you watch as your friends dissapear one by one. Foreigners dressed in nice clothes, walk into your nursery, they have warm smiles and they seem to be very nice and loving... they walk towards your crib, you get excited and look up. You think.. maybe? NO, they go to the child next to you and pick them up and coo all over them. Your heart sinks. You cry, you reach, you smile all to try to get them to want you. You don't understand that they have been coming for your friend all along. They leave with your nursery buddy and you are left there to wonder why not you. Your care giver gives you a toy and picks you up to play with you.. you accept the attempt at making you happy, but the thought of the couple still lingers. You want parents, you want a mommy too... what is a mommy? you think.

Months later... you are sitting in your crib and again, a couple nicely dressed come into the room. Again, their smiles are warm and caring and you think "maybe?".... they walk towards you.. you decide whether to try the normal tricks to get their attention. You decide to go ahead and smile up and to your surprise they reach down into the crib and pick YOU up. They love and coo all over you. YOU have parents, a family, and a home!

Please consider giving an orphan a home and if not giving an orphan a home then consider helping a family that is journeying to bring an orphan home. After all, this is National adoption month.. MAKE IT COUNT!

October 17-Jer and I volunteered to spend a virtual Christmas with an orphan in the Chung Yi orphanage in Taiwan! We were told to put as much as we could or we wanted into a gallon sized zip lock baggie and we took them seriously. We really enjoyed shopping for and getting our goodies ready for our  boy age 15-18 in Taiwan. We included a stocking with candy so that he could have a part of U.S. Christmas tradition and we shared our belief of Jesus' birthday as to why we celebrate Christmas with him. It was all great fun and we so enjoyed it... here is a picture from our virtual Christmas!

Gotcha day was a success! Fun was had by all. Jeremiah got decked out in his Chinese suit which FINALLY fits.. sorta!

regardless of fit, he was happy to show it off for us. We had homemade stirfry, been noodles, store fried rice and dumplings, homemade dumpling sauce and chocolate cake. To add a little culture to the party, we had traditional red eggs just like the ones at his shower and fortune cookies for fun factor! Durning Jer's Gotcha day video showing he decided to bust a move

Wow, You don't see this one every day! Anyways, it was a wonderful day to remember and thank God for our little man that has stolen all our hearts and rules them diligently! With in reason of course!

October 16th- LIFE WAS GOING TO CHANGE!!!
Finally the day they had hoped for, prayed for, waited for, lived for, dreamed of and prepared for WAS HERE!!!! 5:30am came and went in a flash but the BATS in their stomachs stayed to play for a while. As they ran around making sure that they outfits were perfect, they had all the donations, they had the gifts, they had the carrier, they had the diaper bag... *again, sentimental moment as Sarah realizes they are going to get the face she said goodnight to only in pictures for the months before today*. They grab all of the needed things and then meet Eric and Jacklyn for one more pep talk between couples. After all the "good luck, meet you back here after" was done the couples hailed their respective cabs and went towards their destinations. David and Sarah would head to the domestic airport to meet Sally, their in country coordinator. They arrived early as they hoped they would.. but the waiting for Sally to get there was AGONIZING to say the least. They walked back and forth, from one end to the other hoping they would not miss her, hoping they would recognize her from the few pictures they had seen, desperate to see her face. FINALLY, right on time. The nervous couple approach the "cool as a cucumber" Sally and shake her hand and share hugs. They were so glad to have her there for this whole airport thing was a little daunting. She settled their tickets and then they all went upstairs to await the final plane, the final separating object between them and their son. As they sat there, Sally graciously answered their questions about how the children got names, how the people in Taiwan have English names and Chinese names and a bunch of other stuff. The time seemed to stand still, but the pleasant conversation did somehow manage to help keep the time rolling by. At last! The flight was ready to go and SO WERE THEY! They started to board the small aircraft and Sally hands us a newspaper that was to be kept by us to save for the baby. She joked that we should read it to him and then joked that we were suppose to know how to read Mandarin...lol. We of course being nervous as heck stopped and stared for a sec and then realized it was a quip..lol. We all laughed then boarded the small plane. The flight there, the taxi ride, the whole trip seemed to DRAG AND DRAG AND you guessed it DRAG!!!!!!! Oh... there it is... LAND TALLY HO!!!!!! We landed on the small military base, you heard me.. military base (intimidating yet again? Hmmm.. a little) but we got out and loaded onto the bus and then the taxi and then.... THERE IT WAS! Saint Lucy Nursery. It seemed to stand there like a big beautiful castle amongst the buildings. We took the customary pictures in front of the doors and then entered. SO HELP ME, I felt like I was on Hollowed ground! It was an amazing feeling to be that close to your child for the first time. We did all the Nicities with the staff, which we love them all so much. We learned about our baby and what his habits were. We listened to the Birth giver's wishes and then we had finally arrived!!!!!! Oh My.. there he was! He was real! He was really real! I could touch him.. smell him, and hold him! At first the meeting went so wonderfully, then it happened... my worst fear... his fave caregiver walked out and he just screamed!!!! (for those going over to get a child... please know that this is actually typical and in our case was because this was his normal behavior when he wanted to go to another person of his choosing, Don't be afraid of it.. it had little to do with us at this point). So they took him away and we toured the nursery. We saw where he slept, and we met some of his little friends, some of which would be picked up this week by other friends from the group. It was quite cozy and very homie. I was very pleased with it all! Again they tried to give him back. Again he fussed. Finally, I got my whits about me and started pulling every "weapon" meaning baby toy I had. Treats, you name it. At last, we are friends, not only friends but he falls asleep next to me. I sit and talk to his main caregiver Tina and we cry. We cannot understand much of what the other is saying but we can understand without the words. I love this lady to this day and I feel so much joy for her having been in his life. I feel so much for all the lovely ladies at the nursery. They are all so much a part of our little one! Well, leaving the nursery was upon us, so we gathered all of our stuff and most importantly.. we gathered up the single most important thing in our lives.. our son! Our beautiful, our wonderful, our VERY REAL and VERY OURS son! We leave the nursery holding this wonderful treasure that we can never thank Taiwan or St. Lucy's for enough for and we enter into our own personal Miraculous HAPPY ENDING!

*DRUM ROLL PLEASE* October 15th
It is now time for the infamous "One year ago post"!
One year ago today, 4 nervous but eager Adoptive parents to be landed in a country they had only read about, heard about, and Dreamed about. Their hearts had been captured by Taiwan's beauty in just one picture! Was the picture of the beautiful lush lands? Was it of the world's tallest building Taipei 101? Maybe it was the one of a kind architecture style of this wonderous country?? NO, it was of a picture of their children. Children that were raised thus far in this far off land they had heard about in stories. The parents had prepared for this day, packing, laughing, crying, saving, and dreaming. This was it! They were finally stepping off the plain and FINALLY flashing that passport to officials as they crossed into their journey, into Taiwan. Oh they were so excited, so much to do, so much to see. Where do we start? They began as most do... they found their sign for the taxi they had ordered and then they found an ATM so they could get some more of that wonderful "monopoly looking money". At first it was like they were in a daze. Sarah's thoughts raced through her head "Are we really here? Is this really where our children are? Can it finally be so? It was true and real all along?" YES! IT WAS! As she looked through the windows of the van she saw so many things fly by her (and if you know taxi's in Taiwan at all I do mean fly by) that she could barely take it all in. To her left was an odd building with a golden statue on top. Straight ahead were signs that she had only seen in movies... Mandarin Chinese was everywhere.. it was so overwhelming, humbling and just plain magnificent. She, David, Eric and Jacklyn jabbered the whole time, pointing at things, oohhhinngg over every site. When they arrived at the hotel they put their things in a holding place until they could get their rooms ready and then they went out to explore. At 7:30 am there was not much to see yet seeing as the country doesn't start getting out and about until 11 am. The first thing they saw was a teenager in soiled clothes laying in a fetal possition on the pavement... Hmmm... that was not a normal scene in the states. Next they got some bottled water as their agencies had suggested and some snacks then headed back to the hotel where they had a very yummy American/Asian style buffet breakfast. Next was sleep! 14 hours on a plane can do that to a person. Jet lag had not caught up it had pounced on them like a hungry kitten on a grasshopper. After a nice slumber, Sarah and David went exploring further. They found an "electronics mall". They had heard so much about them so they stopped and looked. "WHOA!" Ok... a little more free than the U.S., they got caught in a maze of videos, both animation and real that had women.. well.. bearing their everything and anything... "OH MY", they quickly meandered through the maze trying to find a way out. Finally the exit... and into a small arcade... now this seems neat. HMMM... miniature mickey's that were brown, and had HUGE heads were piled high in a claw machine... so Sarah quickly acquainted herself with the proper coins needed for this machine to work and ended up winning a mickey dressed as a lemon... (don't ask)...lol. After a while, Sarah and David meandered back to find their traveling buddies up and ready for action. What now? First they wandered the streets of Taipei... A little intimidating? YEP! BUT interesting as HECK! There were so many scooters. At one point we saw a family of 5 on ONE scooter. Hard to imagine? Well, it is a norm here. We found that the tall buildings had shops up and shops down and it was a surprise either way we went because we could not read Mandarin.. so discovering we went and it was lots of fun....Well, next they all piled into a taxi, Sarah somehow ended up in the seat of near death... lol.. I mean front seat. At first riding in the taxis was quite intimmidating, but it soon became old hat. Once you have 'almost died' almost dieing over again and again just doesn't phase you. Ok.. so, the trip landed them at the Dumpling Restaurant... oh not just any...THE. It was so yummy and very different. Sarah is a dumpling nut, so it was perfect for her.. .but David, Eric and Jacklyn deffinately held their own. Trying a bit of this and that and everyone sharing the treasures they had ordered. After their dumpling fest of a meal... they headed out to the Shih lin market and started to shop. "WOOF... What's that smell"... (we still don't know to this day but MAN was it nausiating.)
After walking around the market for a while and trying to figure it out.. they finally headed home to *try to sleep* before the big revealing of the children. The rooms were so lush and beautiful. The king beds were snuggled in by an oversized down comforter which was so soft. The front of the room was almost a wall to wall picture window which you could open up and hang out and take pictures... TOO COOL!! The room was HUGE, with a bathroom that would make you go ga ga and it was decorated in marble tile and had a glass shower for 6 and a bath tub.. oh and a phone by the toilet...lol. It had a little almost living room too. AH... there it is.. *tears well up in Sarah's eyes.* There is the crib where he will sleep. Then it hits... the crib where HE will sleep.. Tomorrow I am meeting our son for the first time. Tomorrow I realize a dream that has been a part of me for SO long...As Sarah and David snuggle into bed, she prays one more time for her little boy, except this time, she prays for him on the other side of the island from him. She prays for her nerves and for him to like them. And then she slides into the big bed and hunkers down for hopefully a good nights sleep.

October 3rd-Well, Jer's birthday was a smash! Get it? Pinata.. smash...lol! No really. We were going to have it in the back yard and it got Really windy.. like Shnuck winds. So, we had it in the garage since it isn't doing anything and kids can be kids without harm being done...lol. The Pinata took a lot whacks actually and then finally my nephew Andy gave it a good Whack and it broke. Jer made a pretty good dent in it with Mom's help though. The cake was yummy, great family and friends were there.. it was fun for everyone! Jer drank a few drinks and spilled them all over himself..lol. He played hard and ate lots! He loved his gifts and thought it was just a grand day! He stuck his finger in the cake and was scared of the candles...lol... Oh well. It was a great day indeed!

September 28th- HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! Today is our baby's birtday.. 2nd birthday to be exact! It is however his first birthday home with us. We were 2 weeks and a couple of days late for his birthday. Last year, today was a bitter sweet day! We had a cake for him and celebrated as if he was with us. We dreamed of him and how he would be. We are so happy to have Jeremiah in our lives. He makes my life feel a lot less empty on hard days and he brings a smile to people's faces effortlessly. He is a magical little guy with a smile that lights up a room and he has a belly laugh that just makes you want to laugh with him. He is so sweet and loving and my most favorite time of day is after I finish cooking and we are waiting for daddy to come home or after dinner when he climbs up on my lap and watches tv with me and yells to the contestant on "Deal or No Deal" NO... NO... NO! *insert babbling* Go... Go.... Go!.. He is too funny. Anyways... Happy birthday my special little man! You are my sweet boy and I love you more than you can ever know or comprehend!
                                                   Love Mommy

Please pray for us as we start our second journey. We are excited and can't wait. Jeremiah has been discussing this with me lately and when I ask.. "Do you want a sister or a brother?" He says "Brudder". HMMMMM...... well, we will see who wins this one...lol.

September 24th-Well, things are hopping at our house. I have now had to handmake all of Jer's birthday party stuff.. well the major stuff anyways... The pinata is almost done so I will post a pic of that later and now I have to make an Aladin cake. I got the treat bags done and ready! So now to put the gold crape on the Lamp pinata and fill it and that should do it.... This will be our babie's first birthday home, so special it has to be!!!! He is turning 2 years old and a sweet but fiesty two it is! He played in the sprinkler for the last time the other day I am afraid for the cold is slowly making its way across Colorado. It has almost done a 180 from summer to winter out here. There has been no real leaf changes but my garden sure is showing signs of giving up to shear anticipation of Jack frost's visit to the Rocky's. I got the last of the veggies out today. Some just stopped growing. The canning books are tucked away for winter too...lol. So, today, Jeremiah went to the park in long basketball pants and a sleeveless shirt and was changed into a longsleeve shirt and jogging pants within minutes of getting out of the van. He played like such a big boy too. What he was scared of a couple weeks ago, he was not scared of today. He went sliding by himself and walked across the mesh looking floors of the play unit like a champ. He of course examined EVERY stick he found to see if it was the good stick. Then he decided to continue his "I am an independant toddler escapade by throwing the I don't want to leave the park fit". I was so proud of this once so dependant guy I brought home just a little under a year ago. He has changed and blossomed so much. He has shared countless smiles and laughs with us and we feel so blessed. I can't wait to get real birthday pictures Saturday as we watch him enjoy friends he has made, and family he loves. I know, to him it is just a day he has permission to beat the crud out of an aladin lamp, gets to tear open stuff for once and not get told no...lol, and eat cake for desert (not exactly new or seldom..lol). It is his first AMERICAN BIRTHDAY! WOW!!!!!! This time last year I was readying our bags and such and making phone calls for reservations seeing as we were preparing to travel in a little over two weeks from now. What a a simply amazing memory.
We will be celebrating Jeremiah's Goctha day by way of videos soon.. I will let you all know when those hit the internet and also.

September 15th- THE CALL came today one year ago. I was just sitting at home alone... cleaning and such and pretty darn depressed at how many other families had gotten called. THEN... it happened... Laura from FFC called and announced that our last hearing was favorable and that we could travel tentatively to SLC the 16th of October. WOW..... really?
I was stunned and excited beyond belief. I was FINALLY going to get our son... BUT it would be after his birthday by 2 weeks and 3 days. Ok... so there was a little sad mixed in with the good but hey... THERE WAS GREAT NEWS! So, we started calling everyone we could think of... I plastered it all over his site and the net! Friends and family celebrated with us from all over the U.S. and we were on our way to our son Jeremiah! Everynight after that.. I fell asleep walking up the stairs of SLC. I could see myself arriving and stepping out of the cab onto the stairs and then waiting. I could never get past those doors though. I couldn't see him or hold him.. and now in a few weeks I would be able to. WOO HOO!!!!!! The sadness of waiting just rolled off my back. It was over.. just a few more weeks to go... I had a promise of that. Now the "Oh my gosh we are going to Taiwan, a foreign country" had set in. So my sadness turned to fear! Would I be a good mom? Would he like me? Would he be ok when we got there or sick? What would his cry sound like? What did his laugh sound like? What would Taiwan be like? Oh all the questions just rushed around my head like a freight train on a mission. The questions were not new of course.. just more real and immediate now. We prepared for travel in many ways. Coordinating with our friends that we would travel with... getting hotel and airplane resies. Making sure all his things were packed and ready to go, and guessing what we would need or not need. The answers would all come later on goctha day.......
