Update: 05/22/09 Chase - has graduated from preschool. They had a great ceremony! The teachers compiled a years worth of photos and made a dvd for all the parents. All of Chase's buddies will be attending different elementary schools - so it was a sad day! He also just finished up his lacrosse season - with the coach nicknaming him Mr. Face-off and Mid-fielder! He loved it! He's all signed up for soccer in the fall. And very excited about spending the summer at the pool! Caitlin - had her 4yr check-up today. She weighed in at 30.6lbs (48th%) and measured 35.5in (17th%)!! She had her first eye exam, which she passed with flying colors, and also had her blood pressure taken. I think it was 70/52 or something like that. She also received 3 shots. She did VERY well! No tears - I was promising Burger King and milkshakes the whole time. That worked! She's finishing up her first year of ballet/tap, with her recital tomorrow. Pictures to follow. She's also signed up for soccer in the fall (and if I get my way, another year of ballet). For her birthday, Caitlin requested an Ariel party because Ariel has red hair and she likes red hair. :) We decorated a week in advance so we could enjoy them for more than a day. Her closest friends were in attendance, as well as family, so her day was very special!!! Kendall - had her 2yr check-up today. She weighed in at 26.3lbs (45th%) and measured 32.5in (18th). VERY similar to Caitlin! And SO thankful she didn't receive any immunizations today!! She's doing well, even spoke for him. He told me that she speaks incredibly clear. So I was beaming with pride (as if I have anything to do with it :). For some reason, I found her birthday to be really sad. I can't believe I'll no longer count in weeks or months. She's getting so big and so mature - will I really miss the baby in her? We had a low-key birthday brunch, with a couple neighborhood friends to celebrate. Kendall isn't much for crowds or attention, so it was the perfect morning for her.
Stories Update: 04/20/09 Chase - he's 5 1/2 now and almost finished with Pre-K. He's pretty excited about starting Kindergarten in late August. I am not. He loves learning, has no problem completing his homework, and can read about 20 words. Update: 11/27/08 Kendall had her 18 month check-up last week. She weighed in at 24.6 lbs and measured 31 inches (the height is a guesstimate because she wouldn't stand still). Update: 10/20/08 *******KENDALL has been taking steps the last 3 days******** Chase: Our little man turned 5 last week. He had his 5 yr check up on his actual birthday.
