December 3, 2004- Since Dimitri has such a huge appetite and is hard to satisfy with just formula, I decided to give him some cereal. That was fun, he had it all over his face, and since he couldn't wait for me to get more on the spoon he decided to eat his fingers. That means not only does he have cereal on his face and bib, he now had it on his hands. Oh well he thought it was pretty funny. He's getting so big and his four month doctor's appoinment is on December 16, can't wait to see how much he weighs and how big he is.
November 25, 2004- Happy Thanksgiving Dimitri. Well today was Dimitri's first thanksgiving and I must say it was very eventful. He got his first taste of gravy, though he didn't know quite what to make of it. He kinda made a funny face when I gave him that little taste, but afterwards he was smiling. He got passed between his aunt's uncles, cousins, and grandparents because everyone loves him soo much. Hmm I bet he wishes he had teeth, I think he was drooling over the site of all that good food.
November 10, 2004 - Well Dimitri is almost 3 months old and is growing very fast. He is full of coos and smiles. He loves telling stories to anyone who is will to listen. Dimitri and I can sit down together and hold a conversation of coos and laughs for about 20 minutes and it never gets old. What really warms my heart is when I am snuggling with him and I start to sing a huge smile appears on his face. He will actually coo to the song I am singing which usually is Amazing Grace.
Our beagle puppy watches out for him. When I layed Dimitri on the floor today to play with his gym and toy keys the dog came right over sniffed him and then layed down on the floor right beside him. The whole family loves to spend time with him especially his cousins.
Dimitri is already teething, early I know, but he is. I can't begin to tell you how many slobbery kisses I have already gotten from him. Oh well the kisses are well worth the slobber! He can fit comfortably into a 6/9 month sleeper. Gonna be a tall baby that I have to look up too.
October 22, 2004- Dimitri was laying on the floor dancing away to the music on his little gym. He started cooing and talking a little while I was cam-cording him, when out of the blue he said momma again! This is the third time he has said it and I got it on tape as proof this time! . Ha, nobody can say he didn't say his first word now!
October 20, 2004- Dimitri had his 2 month appointment today. According to the doctor he weighs 14 pounds, 7 ounces and is 27 inches long. He's getting to be such a big boy, growing up so fast. Goodness my poor son also had four shots today. I felt so sorry for him! But on the upside of things Dimitri said his first word today! He said momma! The first time he said it I didn't hear him but my mom did. Made me soo mad because I wasn't in the room when he said it. But later on that night he said it again which brought a huge smile to my face!
October 17, 2004- Dimitri became offically part of God's family. He was baptised at St. Johns Lutheran Church by Pastor Weber. His Godparents are Aunt Kerri and my best friend Travis. I am so happy that he is offically one of God's children, it meant so much to me to get him baptised.
August 15, 2004- Dimitri was born at 8:30 a.m., which was such a glourious day for me. All I could think about was getting to hold him for the first time after carrying him for nine months. I wanted to be able to hold him in my arms a show him just how much I truly loved him.
