Guestbook Jen, Kevin and Jainy~What an amazing story here and what a wonderful website for your family and friends. It is so amazing to see these things after a 22 year gap in seeing someone. Your stories are wonderful, your daughter is beautiful and what a wonderful life you have all led. Jainy has the best parents and although the journey was long it so nice to see such love. God Bless you all. Oh and P.S. Thanks for making me shed a tear or two reading your wonderful blogs and story about getting your daughter. I went through lots of tissues!! :)Johnna-Johnna Noble-Crowe I had missed reading and seeing your pictures so thought I would catch up and was so sorry to hear about your Grams!I was so fortunate to meet her and know what an influence she has on your life and will continue to have! I lost my dear mother 17 Oct at age 94 and feel such a loss too! We are certainly lucky girls to have had them in our lifeI am so inspired by your pictures and your full life!!Even though I miss seeing you I feel close since you post the notes and pictures-thank you so much! -helene wow...jen...that was beautiful and touching. i just put my makeup on and now i have to start all over. love you! -nae Jenee, what a beautiful tribute to a very fine lady, from a beautiful, loving granddaughter. -Grandma Lau Lau Love you. Although I'm now bawling my eyes out. Give Jain and Kev kisses and tell them to give you one in return from me. xoxo -Cheryl Beautiful post Jen. I'm so sorry! ((HUGS))! -Jenny Jen, through tears I just read your comments about your gram. Your words are an amazing testimony of the type of woman your grandmother was, as well as the specialness of your relationship. Many, me included, could only hope for a grandmother who would inspire and encourage them the way yours did. You are surely blessed and how fortunate that you did get that last week with her. God bless you all! Kim -Kim Thomas Jen I know how hard it is to loose someone you love and I'm sorry just doesn't cut it. Your Gram was an amazing woman and she helped shape who you are today. What a cool thought to think that in a way she is living on in you. I'm not going to say you wont have bad days but they will get better. Please know I am here if you need to talk. We love you guys! -Jennie Schantz Jennie, Please remember what Grandma told me the evening before she passed away...She said... I have a good daughter, and Granddaughters. She had been preparing her self for a long time. She is finally where she wanted to be, with Grandpa. I too thought she was getting better. Everyone at the Hospital thought she was doing better. Your Father had gone to check out the rehab place from the list they gave us. Give yourself permission to let the guilt go. It's not easy. It won't heal quickly. However, Grandma is in Heaven having a great time. She would want us to have fun too. I love you. You will always have a home in Ohio. XOXO Aunt Linda -Linda Welsh Hi Kev and Jen...just saw lynn and Kev at Dave's daughters wedding in Michigan....They gave me an update on your whereabouts....Congratulations on your success and promotions, new aircraft, and location ( I know you love it there )....your kids are beautiful and I understand you're trying to adopt another...Hope that works out for you, the more there are the more fun you'll have!!!! Anyway, glad to see that you are back on track. Now as I read through everything I realize that I really just skimmed the surface during our phone conversation. Looks like your entire family has adapted nicely to Alaska- as much as one can adapt to negative forty degrees. I don't know how you do it. I am ok. Just celebrated a birthday in Wichita falls, of course. I had a blast. On a sad note, I write to you from the hospital as I lay by my fathers side. It is believed that he may have had a stroke. Your stories and pictures help me cope and see the brighter side of life. Keep the chronicles coming. I can't get enough. Hugs and kisses to Jainy. Hope to see you soon.
