We named our baby Avery
and he is such a joy.

Dear Avery's Mom, You asked me for advice or words of encouragemnet while i was there and i wasn't qiut prepared so here you go. Enjoy every minute, just like everyone says they grow up so fast. You will soon find out why our mothers ans sisters are so crazy... when you deliver Avery your life will never be the same...you will now be a mother...a mother who has lost all selfishness and found unconditional love. (you thought you loved jason or you puppies Oh you just wait!) You will love everything in all new ways. You will never feel the same again. I honestly felt like my heart was now on the outside of me, unexplainable, unconditional. I can not tell you how to raise Avery but just follow your mom gut/heart as I call it. Your motherly instinct. As long as you give Avery every ounce of your love, no one can ask for more. people will tell you sleep when he sleeps...Yeah right stare at that baby and enjoy the love you feel. People will also say don't spoil your baby. Babies can't be spoiled with too much love...they grow so fast do what your mom gut tells you to do ...sleep with him on your chest, hold him until he falls asleep, cry happy and scared tears....you name it what ever feels right and works do it! You will find you nitch, what is right for you both. Remember during the milestones...all children are different and it is hard not to compare but they all roll, crawl, walk, and talk at different times. Don't waste your time worrying about something that means so little...happy and healthy is all that matters. I guess the only other thing I can think of his remember people will give you thier advice/opinion whether you want it or not and just remember it is just that....take it or leave it. I have no worries you will both be great parents, treat Avery as special as your puppies and he will be the most loved child. I love you and and I am so happy you get to enjoy parenthood...you will soon be crazy like the rest of us parents.

I can't tell you how honored I was to be asked to be your God mother. I am making your baptism outfit out of your mothers wedding dress. I am using the thread that I got from your great grand mother LeJeune and the buttons will be from your great grand mother Estok. You will be wearing 3 generations of things on your big day and I will be so proud of you. I can't wait to see you. I love you already. You are a special and very loved person already. I loved that book Jodie is talking about it is very helpful. Hope all is well. I never felt the bubbles but at 22 weeks I could feel my little kicker big time. Hope everything is going well and miss you.

Felt owen move at 20 weeks felt like bubbles @ 21 weeks could really tell it was baby moving. weight gain went like this

You're so on top of things. I'm impressed! You'll be good at time management when the baby comes. I didn't even take pictures at my own shower, let alone post them anywhere! I hope I get better before Amelia gets here. Thank you guys again SO SO MUCH for driving over for the shower. I know it was a lot of travel and not a lot of visiting, but we LOVED having you!
