Stories Its been awhile since I have update this site. She keeps me busy! Ella Kay is now 10 months old. She weights 18.5lbs and is 29in long. on December 28th she began crawling (!) and can now pull up and tries to get everywhere. Ella can now clap and she giggles like crazy. Her hair hasnt calmed down any. It is a mess and we cant do anything about it lol. Marc & I are still living in Joshua Tree, California but we hope and keep praying that we will get to go to another base (East Coast) sometime in 2011. Yes, we will be in CA another year :( bummer right. In health news. Ella has been diagnosed as anemic. She requires iron supplement drops 2xs every day and will require monthly blood draws until we are sure her levels are good and stable. Thats about it my friends thanks for looking and check back soon
Well its been awhile since I updated. In July, Marc returned safely to us from Iraq! YAY. We moved back to Joshua Tree, CA in August into an apartment. On the way from TX to CA we stopped at the Grand Canyon. It was our first time to see it and my gosh it was so beautiful. Ella is now 8 almost 9 months old! Shocking how time flies. She babbles, eats solid food, sleeps through the night, walks if you hold her fingers, and still refuses to crawl. She doesnt like to be on her belly and she LOVES her daddy. She is a giggle box if you tickle her back she squeals. Oh and in interesting Garcia news. We are expecting our 2nd baby in June 2010.
Ella is currently over 4 months old. She has had her first two rounds of shots she got them at 2months and again just a few days ago. She is up to 14lbs 12oz and 24.5 in long, and just began eating solid food!! Apparently that was what she wanted all along, organic sweet peas! She sits briefly, follows Cookie with her eyes, holds her own bottle and sometimes she even tries to sit up by herself. We both miss her daddy dearly, Marc deployed to Iraq for the 3rd time in March 2009 and will be back in October. Thats all on our front , see ya at 6 months February 26 2009- Ella had her 2 week check up today! Princess weights in at 7lbs 9oz and is 18.5 inches long. She's gained an entire pound (from her birthweight) and more than a pound since she left the hospital. No wonder she has a double chins! No shots today thankfully but she will need them at 2 months :(. She was given a clean bill of health and is doing wonderful. Feb. 11 09- Ella Kay Garcia was born on February 11, 2009 at 8:39am. I had a scheduled c-section due to her being transverse, the surgery itself went beautifully and within an hour or so I was back in my room. Ella weighted in at a surprisingly big 6lbs 9.5oz (not big for some women but for me it was a shock) and was 18in long.
