October 31st---Halloween 09 So we ended up having to modify her costume this year. She was going to be Elmo but the costume scared her. So we had this puppy jacket in the closet and got her to wear that. We took her to a "Trunk or Treat" at one of the local churces where people decorate the trunks of their cars and hand out candy. It was fun. Emily actually walked around and said Trick Or Treat and Thank You to everyone who gave her candy. So many people complimented on how cute she looked :)
She did very well. She did power nap in the car for 10 minuets before we got there but it still went well. We also got to hand out candy at home and Uncle Matt was here to celebrate with us. Check out the pictures of the fun night and look for more updates in the future. Happy Halloween 2009 Everyone.

October 18th-- Emily is 22 months... I can't believe she will be 2 in 2 months... She is growing too fast. But it's good though because she is talking more and putting words together. She will be starting daycare on Monday. Only this time it will be on base and through an approved daycare provider so we know it will be better. I am going back to work as well on Monday. I am going to the clinic I first started to work at when we got here. I am hoping it's going to work out for me and for Emily being in daycare again. We'll see.
It's getting colder here, the wind has not stopped in 4 days. Today it was only 67 out and tonight 47.... BRRRRRR. Hope it's somewhat decent for trick or treating. Emily is going as Elmo and we hope she keeps her costume on for a while. Uncle Matt is coming to visit so hopefully we can get him to take pics of us as family since we don't have many of those. So I will be updating again in a few weeks. Until then enjoy the pictures of Emily and us. Drop us a line. Take care.

October 9th- Uncle Matt came to visit from his class at Keesler AFB. Emily was shy at first but then warmed right up and wanted to play ball the entire time. She was having soo much fun she forgot to nap:) It was fun and Emily is looking forward to the next visit with Uncle Matt.
We are also able to fix Shawn's car with Matt's help,, thank goodness. Maybe next visit he won't have to work soo much. It was much appreciated though.
