Stories July 14th-- Ok it's been a while since an update, Emily and I have been doing yard works.. lots of it before Daddy gets home. We enjoyed some pretty nasty thunderstorms the past week, which Emily actually likes. She will smile when it thunders. :o) Emily finally crawled today!!!! She has been pushing herself up and falling forward,, but now she can actually crawl forward. It just happened. Now she will be on the go. Daddy needs to come home soon. Mommy has her hands full now :o) We are waiting untilt he next 2 months are done and Shawn comes home. I'm sure it will go quick. Until then I will try to update again at the end of the week when Emily turns 7 months old :o) June 18th- Emily is 6 months old!!! It's amazing that it's flown by so quickly. She had her check up at the drs today. She weighs 18.2 pounds, is 26 inches long and has a head of 44.5 cm... WOW. She is eating cereal like a big girl and we are starting on fruits and vegitables. Also we are working on finger foods... oh joy. She keeps me busy all day long,, but sleeps ALL through the night. We can't wait for Daddy to come home to see his little girl. He is almost half done with the deployment.. it's flown by on this end especially with Emily keeping things busy.
June 2-12th- Emily visited Nana and Papa Fligg and got to swim in the pool for the first time... she absolutely loved it. She kicked her little feet and splashed in the water. Now we are going to set up her little pool in the yard for her to play in. She also learned how to push up on her knees and launch herself forward. She is SOOO close to crawling. Soon enough. She is such a big girl. May 24th- Emily tried green beans today and was not sure if she liked them... hopefully she will next time. I put her hair up in a cute little clip today and she looked so adorable. I took some pictures and posted them. She's doing well...eating like there's no tomorrow :o) She also learned that she can roll across the floor.. I set her on her blanket and next thing I know she is over by me on the other side of the living room!!! Goody.. Good thing I have a baby gate ready for when she is more active. We heard from Daddy/Shawn and everything is going great,, we are almost 1/4 of the way done :o) but who's counting!!!! Emily has her 6 month check up next month and we'll let you all know how big she's getting.. until then check out the new pictures.
