December 11th- GOOD news.... We had our check up today and we are 1 Cm dilated !!!! The nurse could actually feel little Emily's head. :) We are on our way now. I had been having "contractions" on and off since Friday night. Having trouble walking and being comfortable. So all this is going to pay off soon. They said we probably will not make it to our induction date of the 21st. I am hoping in the next week we will have our little girl.

Daddy also had his check up and everything looks good. Still 3 more weeks of no weight on the leg. But now we know that the sutures are out and all is healing well. He has an appt on the 2nd of Jan and hopefully then he can start to put weight on it. At least he can still do diaper duty and feedings.

November 27th- Today we had our 38 week check up and all is well. Emily is head down and hopefully ready to come out in 2 weeks. Our due date is set up for Dec 12th and we set up an induction date of Dec21st in case she is not here when planned.

Other than than I am most definately ready for this to be done. Nine months is a very long time but these next 2 weeks will be LONG!! We are almost set up for christmas, lights going on the house tomorrow so even though Emily will not understand it will still look nice for bringing her home.

Shawn had his check up today as well and we saw the incision,,, not too bad. He does go in on the 11th of Dec for suture removal... good timing. Maybe this time we can kill 2 birds with 1 stone... his suture removal then come up so I can spit the baby out :):):)

November 18th-  It's been quite a while since I updated the site. I am offically not working now and getting ready for Emily. We had some sort of "excitement" this past week. Shawn broke his leg down by the ankle on Friday. He is having surgery on Wednesday and will take 6-8 weeks to recover...what good timing :) At least the surgery is BEFORE Emily is born so he can be sort of recovered when she arrives. It's just going to be a lot different now.
Other than that.. We had our 36 week check up and everything is going fine. I am up to around 131#... I have been eating like a pig this past 2 weeks and gained about 3-5 pounds. Just more work for me after she's born to lose the extra. We have a check up in 2 weeks for our 38 week and I hope only 1 more after that and she will be here.
She is constantly moving and not letting me get much sleep!! I hope that is not a sign of what's to come :):):):):)
Well I will keep everyone updated after our next check up and keep your fingers crossed that she's here before Christmas.... Come on December 12th !!!

October 11th-- Today we got our 4D ultrasound done. It was sooo amazing. We were nervous at first because some of the pictures you see on the internet are just scarry. But come to find out, Emily is the most adorable little baby in the world. Even though she is not actually here yet she is still so cute. As you can tell by the pictures. After she is born we are going to do some side by side pictures to compare just how close the ultrasound is. If you look close enough you can see her cute little lips and nose.

The whole time we were getting the ultrasound done she was trying to sleep. It just figures that during that time she was still. She did move and yawn several times and try to rub her face. All in all we are so glad we got it done and hope you all enjoy the pictures.
