September 28th-- Emily is getting sooo big. She is changing more and more every day. I am amazed at what she learns to do on her own.
We are getting ready for Halloween already, we have her Elmo costume and she is a little scared of it right now. I think by the time trick or treating gets here she will be ok with it. She looks cute in it and I can't wait to get tons of pictures on her first outing.
We also finished her big girl room in all Tinker bell. It is absolutely adorable. I put pics of it on here and it turned out sooo good. So check out everything and look for updates as things happen here
Sept 14th-- Emily has been doing a lot more now a days. She is talking a lot more, saying juice, toast, na-night and so many more. Now that daddy is home from class we are starting her in the toddler bed again. She slept her first night in it with out getting out of bed to sleep. The next day she actually napped in it the entire time without getting up. So are are hoping this will last longer than the last time we tried it. Which was a long week. So keep your fingers crossed. Not much else going on here, going to be taking Emily to a gymnastics place to do a toddler open gym where she can run and play around in the gym. She seemed to like it the first time I took her. Maybe I can get some pictures of her there.
We will be getting ready for Halloween soon, can't wait to decorate and see what she thinks of it all. We are looking for a Tinkerbell costume for her to go trick or treating in. Definately going to take pictures then. Trying to teach her to say trick or treat... we'll see if that works out.
Anyhow I will update as things go on here and with our daily adventures.
August 18th-- Today Emily is 20 months old! I can't believe she is growing so fast. She is doing so many new things each day. She can say so many new words too, just today she was pointing to my eyes and said "eye". She also is trying to say nose and mouth and ear. She is a smart little girl. She is getting much better after being sick too. She has a little bit of thrush but we have a re-check appointment on the 24th to see if she needs any more medicine. I will work on keeping this updated with pictures more often now that I am home with her again so check back often :)
August 6th-- There has been a lot going on here and I finally have time to update. Ever since Emily got sick from daycare she has not fully recovered from it so after a 2nd trip to the ER on Thursday we decided that it's best for mommy to stop working and take care of her at home again. While at the ER they did a chest xray and a urine test which she hated. Luckily however all looked well. So they told us to recheck with her regular DR in a few days. So Emily went to her pediatrician on tuesday and we found out that she still had the viral infection that she was getting over (which so is mommy, I got it from her pretty bad too) AND on top of everything she has Thrush!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I have to give her Nystatin (meds) 4 times a day for 10 days hoping to clear it up. I researched it and the only way to get thrush is from contact such as sharing pacifiers, and toys.. SO more than likely she got it from daycare too.......... What an icky place.
So mommy is doing her best to take care of Emily now. We are learning all kinds of things at home instead of daycare too. Emily is learning her colors and also doing little crafts. I am hoping to be able to keep her day scheudled so she can have a variety of activities to keep her busy. So far so good.
I do still have to put the pictures from our Wisconsin trip, but daddy has those on his computer and he is in class for 6 weeks. In the mean time I took some goofy ones of her the past few days and I will put those up.
I will keep posting to let you know we are all doing.
