July 18th-- Today is Emily's 19 month birthday!!!! We started off on a bad foot though, when Daddy got her up this morning she had a fever of 103.3 so he woke me up and we rushed her to the ER. We gave her some baby tylenol before we hit the road so by the time we got there she came down, but we were still worried. The doctor said that she has a viral thing that she might have caught from daycare. Pretty much we are going to give her lots to drink, and rotate tylenol and motrin and break the fever. Hopefully she will be ok enough to go to daycare. Right now she is napping and feeling better, her temp was down under 100 so we might be out of the woods... I will check her later on today. She is just being so loving and sweet now. Just wish my baby felt better.

July 15th-- Emily had her first day at Daycare.. It went a lot better than we thought. We checked her in and went to her room, when we dropped her off she went to play and some little kids came up to her and smiled at her. So that was good. We went to give her hugs and she pretty much didn't want that. It was a VERY long day waiting to go pick her up and I was just waiting until they called and said that she did not do well. But towards the end of the day we went and got her and they said she did well. She napped WITHOUT her button and on a mat. I am sooo shocked since she would not nap in her toddler bed. So we might work towards that soon. But she had a good day from what we heard from her teachers. They gave us her little "Sunshine Report" with all good stuff.  Then we went ahead and got her ready to go home and when we walked out of the door she cried!!! She did not want to leave.... so that is a good sign that she likes it.

So far on all 3 days that she has gone she has done well. A little crying but doing well. Getting along with other kids and napping well. She also get to have Water Play 3 days a week where she plays in a sprinkler and stuff. This daycare is farther away than we want because the close one had no openings. But once the close one has an opening we are going to put her in that one, it will be easier to pick her up and drop her off in the mornings. She will miss the kids at this one but there will be more for her to play with.

All in all daycare is a good thing so far. It's only been 3 days but we will see how next week goes. I will update on how our big girl is doing.

July 14th-- We got back from our 2 week trip to Wisconsin to visit family. Emily learned how to do so much while up there. She loves her Grandma and Grandpa Berger, her Auntie Amanda and Uncle Josh and everyone else she met. She got to meet all my Aunts and Uncles on my dad's side. That was fun. Emily got to see mom's chickens and one absolutely loved her. We named her LuLu. Everytime we went to the chicken coop LuLu would come running towards Emily. It was adorable. She also got to sit in the BIG front end loader my dad drives at work and she didn't want to get off of it... crazy child.

We went to see an Alpaca farm, Emily loved them,,, she fed them and petted them. We also went to ride on a steam train with Auntie Amanda and Uncle Josh to an old log camp. It was fun too. Emily liked the train and didn't mind the whistle.

She also learned how to pretent play the first day we were there. So now we are going to set up our spare bedroom as her play room so she can pretent away. I am going to put lots and lots of pictures up I just need to get to it. I have been busy since I started working so it will happen soon.

There will be more updates and I remember what all we did up there so check back for more.

June 21st-- It's father's day :) Yeah Emily had fun with Daddy today taking pictures at the beach for her 18 month ones.

She also had her check up on Thursday, she weighs 22 pounds and her length is 31 and 1/4 inches and her big head is 49 and 1/4 cm.. she's getting sooo big. She also got her final shots until she is 4..... Gotta love that.

Mommy is getting ready to go back to work after our vacation to Wisconsin meaning Emily will be heading out to daycare. We think she will love it because she loves to see other kids. We are hoping that it will help her to talk a little more and to be less shy around other kids. I think it will work out well for all of us. So I will definately have to keep posted on that situation.

We are down to one week left before our trip and we are all excited!!! Kozmo and Pete (the fish) are going with. We will have tons of pictures from that trip to show as well. Until then enjoy the new ones of our big girl.
