Stories

June 2nd--Well it's finally nice out here. Emily is learning how to do so much now. She is learning how to use a toddler fork and spoon. She loves it!!! She also is using a big girl sippy cup with a straw. That is still a work in progress.

She has a ton of teeth now, she was 2 bottom molars and now one on top. She is definately learning how to use them too. She is eating more food that she can chew. The joys of being a toddler. Check out some of her new pictures on the pics page.

We are in the process of planning our trip to Wisconsin in 26 days. Emily is going to meet more family members and enjoy the cool Wisconsin weather. We are looking forward to it.

May 11th-- Well we went on our camping trip this past weekend. It was fun Emily had a blast. She ate a lot of dirt and one leaf...LOL silly girl. We went fishing with NO luck, but it was still fun. Emily got to experience lots of new things. Although it was soooo hot it was still enjoyable. Emily sweated sooo much but she got a bath in the sink up at the restrooms.

Enjoy all the pictures of our little adventure. I will update again soon. There's not much going on but I will update in a few weeks. Take Care everyone.

One more thing to add-- we started cloth diapering  (nothing like back in the day) Since Emily is getting close to potty training we are wanting to try cloth diapers and soo far it's going well.. hard to get used to but I will keep ya updated

April 15th-- Emily had an exciting Easter, she woke up early and got all dressed in her beautiful dress and hair bow(made by mommy) She came out of her room and saw the easter bunny foot prints and all her goodies. She then proceded to put the bunny stickers on the back door :) Sooo we ventured outside to gather up all the eggs. Daddy held her basket while she put her eggs in it. She was sooo happy and had fun. After gathering a few she saw a big one and headed for that. Well.. Daddy decided to toss the other small eggs towards her,, and,,,, landed one on the back of her. I was recording it and heard it hit... We all laughed and she gave him this hilarious look like " why did you do that" It was funny.

Enjoy all the pictures of her from Easter and I have more to put on here later on. Thank you for all the goodies and spoiling her like we all like to do. We are looking forward to summer to play out doors more and get more pictures. So check back for those.

March 30th-- Emily had her check up today and all went well. Except for the half hour temper tantram in the room!!! She was past her nap and tired so she cried sooo much and ended up putting her head on the ground then smacking her face on the floor in her fit of crying. She is ok but she was soooo fussy for a while. She did get upset when the Dr. had to look in her mouth and listen to her. But otherwise it went well. She weighs 20.5 pounds and her head is 47.5cm... the main concern for the check up was her head in the higher percentile. Well now it's slowed down in it's growth!!! So no concerns there. We had a few concerns but found out we have nothing to worry about. Her belly button is somewhat an outie so when she gets REALLY upset it pushes out and is all red. We thought it was bleeding but it's not. She is eating well and her developmental skills are right on. He was impressed at her knowing where most all her body parts are and pointing to them.

She did get bit by sand fleas about 3 weeks ago when we went fishing and since they have not gone away she has medicine for those to help. We do have to go back in a month to have her gums checked out. I thought she was getting a molar tooth coming in but she might have a gingival cyst... so another trip back in a month. Other wise he said she was perfect and we are doing an excellent job with her.So next update on here will be around easter so look for it then.
